Name: Nyquist Quote: Computers deserve as much respect as any other being for they work just as hard. Alt Mode: Cybertronian Helicopter Function: Hacker Class: Engineer Place of Origin: Voice: Theme Music: Player: Highram
Psychological Profile: Whilst physically he's not very useful, Nyquist has a brilliant mind for computers. He's quick on his feet as well as his mind and speaks briskly when in conversation. He's a very private bot and while usually he's rather analytical, quiet and calm looking, he's prone to becoming panicy when the odds seem against him and a good punch usually helps to calm him down. He loves his work and can't stand to see someone get frustrated over equipment and will often push in to sort out the problem. Nyquist's passion for what he does means he's very forceful about it. He's a little awkward when it comes to conversation.
Before the war, Nyquist was a pen pusher who's spare time consisted of hacking into his boss's system to get more pay. When the war broke out he saw the oppertunity to really put his skills to use and trained with as well as joining the Autobots to help in the fight against the Decepticons.
Nyquist helped in everyway he could but when the Decepticons invaded the facility he was working in, through luck, he managed to escape and set himself up in an old manufacturing plant where he hacked into the Decepticons network to try and find out where the scattered autobot forces might be and to warn them of danger should he find that their position was compromised. However he himself was compromised by a Decepticon patrol shortly after getting wind of Operation: Plagueswarm. Using his Hack A.I he managed to disable them but had to move on in case he was found by others looking for them.
L-10 BUMBLEBEE Fire Type: 3-shot burst Damage: 3 Accuracy: 7 D-90 WARPATH[/u] Fire Type: Selectively detonated demolition charges Damage: 10 Accuracy: N/A These are used for the final and certain clearance of enemies, and destruction of walls and obstacles. 7 charges.
Specialist Skill: HACK A.I.: A versatile ability that can be used to hinder the enemy advance by shutting down certain systems, warping their perception of the battle, or simply taking full control of an enemy mech, turning them against their comrades, though it requires huge focus, and any pain received by a hacked foe is brought back doubly on the hacker. This can also be used to hack enemy computers and steal information.
Psychological Profile: Whether engaged in raging battle or friendly conversation, an ulterior purpose usually exists. Job is to lead enemy astray, to prevent him from discovering the true nature of an Autobot strategy until it is too late for the enemy to counter it. It is a job he performs with great proficiency. His duplicity carries over to his personal affairs as well. Charming and affable, it is easy for Smokescreen to use his genuine camaraderie with his fellow Autobots in order to root out their deepest concerns. And, at Optimus Prime's request, that is exactly what Smokescreen does, because Optimus feels that his role as Autobot leader creates a personal barrier between himself and his followers that he cannot overcome alone. Strangely enough, in Optimus' eyes, the most devious of the Autobots is also the most trusted.
History: During the early wars on Cybertron, Smokescreen and Inferno were under Grimlock's leadership in the Lightning Strike Coalition during the Dark Ages. After the Great Shutdown, Smokescreen returned to civilian life while the Unified Cybertronian government rose up around him. Initially complacent about shared rule with the Decepticons, Smokescreen's optics were opened thanks to the revolutionary actions of the young Autobot Hot Rod and his followers.
Smokescreen gathered a small resistance unit of his own thanks to his Autobot connections in the Triple-Changer Strike Force, but after getting some Autobots released from custody, an act of insurrection soon followed; clearing out the rebelling forces and leaving Cybertron under a terrible Decepticon dictatorship. Some months later, Smokescreen was part of the band of Autobots constantly on the run from Decepticon law enforcement, trying to survive on a battle-scarred Cybertron and not get caught and put into the concentration camps..

Psychological Profile: Torque has been described as a little rough around the edges. He has a gruff personality and he doesn't have the time for anyone he believes is a waste of a Spark. If someone has something to contribute, then Torque will help them anyway he can. Torque will sometimes throw himself into danger, if it means protecting one of his allies. Seeing an ally getting hurt or killed can sometimes make Torque go berserk.
History: Torque started out as your run of the mill Security bot. He was good at his job. That changed when the Great War broke out. Torque ended up going underground with a group of other Autobots and ended up becoming part of the resistance. He still acted as Security, this time protecting the Sparks of those he worked with.
Torque went through a series of upgrades during the war. After the upgrades were complete, Torque became, for all intents and purposes, invincible in his Alt mode. There was one draw back though, if Torque took enough damage in his Alt mode, he would be temporarily knocked offline.
Torque, along with Perceptor and Smokescreen, joined up with part of the Autobot forces and took part in the ill-fated Operation: PLAGUESWARM. Along with a handul of other warriors and scientists, they ended up in the fabled Fort St Pyrotron. After an uneventful time there, Torque and his two closest comrades came into contact with a being calling himself Prime Nova.
At first, Prime Nova sounded like he wanted to help the three Autobots with their mission. He offered to upload a portion of himself into the trio, making them faster, smarter and stronger. It was then that Prime Nova wanted them to not only destroy the Decepticons, but every Neutral, Empty and Autobot that didn't fight. The trio rejected the offer, but Prime Nova claimed that he didn't need their permission and attempted to take over their bodies.
As the trio were being attacked by various things, everything looked bleak. More by luck than by design, Torque was able to shoot a glowing sphere and managed to put an end to Prime Nova. All three were in bad shape and spent some time in the care of the medics. After that, the trio, along with Safecharm, left Fort St Pyrotron.

Psychological Profile: Stryke is usually quiet. He tends to keep to himself. He will often open up with others, if he respects them. Stryke is a loyal soldier, and he will follow almost any order given to him. When in battle, he becomes extremely cold, although he has been known to crack a one-liner in the middle of combat.
History: Stryke always wanted to help his fellow Autobots. Naturally, he joined the fight against the Decepticons. He was meant to take part in Operation: PLAGUESWARM, but he was delayed by a Seeker patrol. He had to hide from the Seekers, and then spent a number of days playing cat and mouse with them, eventually picking them off one by one.
When Stryke eventually arrived at the meeting place for Operation: PLAGUESWARM, he was too late. The main bulk of the forces had already left. It was shortly after that they received word that Operation: PLAGUESWARM had failed. Stryke left soon after, eventually teaming up with another group of Autobots, hoping to bring the war to the Decepticons.

Name: Perceptor Quote: "One's ultimate truth lies in one's molecular structure." Alt Mode: Microscope/Field Canon Function: Scientist Class: Engineer Place of Origin: Iacon Voice: Paul Eiding (Original Actor to voice him in Original Show) Theme Music: Muse's 'Take A Bow~ Symphonic/Original Mix'[/color] Player: Jazz
Perceptor is a scientist, one of the most astute minds the whole of Cybertron can offer. He is perpetually seeking the continued quest for knowledge, and his discoveries have repeatedly proven invaluable. Though his specialties lie in metallurgy, electrical engineering, and additional sciences closely concomitant to Transformer physiology, his thirst for knowledge has made him kind of a scientific jack-of-all-trades.
One of Perceptor's most infamous mannerisms is the tendency in which he verbally communicates using scientific terminology. This has the unforeseen result of exasperating and occasionally frustrating his comrades. One might hypothesize that the jovial mechanoid is unaware that not everyone with whom he seeks to communicate shares his extensive vocabulary.
Engaging in physical melee is not his preferred activity. He is content to make his contributions to the Autobot cause in the manner in which he deems sufficient, but will engage in combat if the situation requires. Optimus Prime often relies on Perceptor's perspicacity, and considers him as inestimable as any of his officers.
Perceptor was often considered an officer or otherwise highly ranked personage by other Autobots, inspiring in the aforementioned others a tendency to view him as a "commander" of a faction of Autobots who engaged in armed conflict against localized enemy forces.
When Autobot command saw that Perceptor was more then capable of taking on dangerious missions, they began to assign him to special operations that required his talents. One such mission was Operation: PLAGUESWARM.
When Perceptor group was to meet with an small Autobot army, the Autobots were discovered and defeated in battle. During the retreat, Perceptor and his surviving comrades found refuage in an old abandon fort called Fort St Pyrotron.
There, Perceptor along with his friend's Torque and Smokescreen, came into contact with a strange beam who referred to himself as the original Prime Nova. Prime Nova made the offer of making Perceptor, Smokescreen and Torque unbelivable powerful to help them in their war. However Prime Nova also wanted to destory very Neutral, Empty and Autobot that wasn't fighting the Deception. The trio declined the Prime Nova's offer but Prime Nova tried to force the three Autobots into taking his powers regardless.
A battle broke out where Perceptor, Smokescreen and Torque were victorious but at a price as they were in need of repair. The repairs took many cycles to complete. Since then, Perceptor has been curious as to what truly happened at the Fort and to himself and Smokescreen and Torque.

Psychological Profile: Redline is a good guy all around. He takes a personal interest in his team mates safety. He makes strong bonds with his brothers in arms, but none will ever be stronger than with a bot he calls his brother, Quickshot. Quickshot, however, is Redline's emotional baggage. Unable to cope with Quickshot's passing, he still keeps an eye out for his lost brother, expecting to find him one day around the next corner
History: Before the war, the violence and the killing, Redline was a DJ. He made other happy with music. Him and his brother, Quickshot, were the life of a party and they were never far from each other. Then war broke out, and in the first conflicts and chaos, Quickshot was lost to the Allspark, leaving Redline behind.
Sure that Quickshot was still alive, and that he could find him out there some where, Redline joined the fight, and he was good. He became special forces, specifically an assassin. He trained how to survive on his own, as he was typically out for great lengths of time without communicating with the main forces.
On one such mission, he finally finished it up only to find out that the resistance was scattered and falling apart. News of the failed operation sunk in, and then his survival instinct kicked in and he did what he does best, survive and complete the mission. He set out to find any band of Autobots still holding out and fighting the tyranny of the Decepticons.

NEXUS- “To steer our race to utopia, we must first lead it through distopia.” Alt Mode: Cybertronian Helicopter Function: Resistance Commander Class: Infiltrator Place of Origin: Dead End Voice: Kim Strauss (RID Ultra Magnus) Theme Music: Set the Fire to the Third Bar- Snow Patrol Player: NC333
Psychological Profile: Nexus is not the arrogant, aloof bot he once was. He now holds much more respect for his fellow Autobots, understands the need to have a good rapport with his comrades, and is much more humble than once he was, often going as far underestimating his own abilities. He is also a much more world weary bot, showing the strain from deca-cycles of non-stop conflict, and has developed more refined views on tactics and thinking through his actions before he wades in.
History: Nexus has been an Autobot longer than anybody can remember. He was brought up in the iron grip of the Cult of the Void-a brutal Cybertronian martial arts group affiliated with the Decepticons, where he was carved into a highly trained, agile, and ruthless hand-to-hand fighter. He inevitably broke away from their extremist and vicious tendencies, aligning himself with the Autobot cause and meeting travelling companions Smokescreen, Torque and Perceptor before undertaking Operation: PLAUGESWARM. This experience was life changing- he was shocked by the meaningless death and violence he saw among soldiers who he knew well and trusted. This haunted him as he fled with his friends, alongside new comrade Safecharm, to Fort St Pyrotron, where he was overcome by newfound feelings of grief. Making up some tawdry excuse, he ran from the dark halls of the abandoned base, eventually finding his way to Iacon, where he encountered the remainders of a great Autobot warrior’s resistance, known as the Hellraiser cells. With newfound purpose, despite his deteriorating physical state after years of fighting, he attempted to unite the soldiers, eventually finding that they referred to him as their commander. Now, he sits in the bowels of a hidden Autobot haven, hoping that, one day, his old comrades will make their way to his new home…
INVENTORY: Weaponry: ENERGON EPEE Fire Type: Close range melee weapon Damage: 8 Accuracy: N/A
S-40 JAZZ Fire type: 3-shot burst Damage: 2 Accuracy: 9 120 rounds, 4 cartridges. Silenced
Specialist Skill: FLASHBANG: Used for speedy getaways, a simple flash grenade that scrambles an enemy’s senses and leaves them blind. Limited supply
Psychological Profile: Safecharm is devoted to the Autobot cause, and throws everything he has into the fight. He will take almost any order with almost unquestioning loyalty, and will do whatever he can to defeat the Deceptions, at any cost. Some find his devotion to the Autobots frightening- however, those who he has fought with for longer know that for someone as simple-minded as he is, it is simply easier to see the world in shades of black and white than question his actions, and just take orders.
History: Very little is known about Safecharm before he joined Hellraiser’s resistance; however, once he did, he was soon recognised as a highly capable fighter and warrior. Due to his slow-wittedness, he never became the commander of his own cell within the resistance, but eagerly seized at the chance to turn the tide of the war with PLAUGESWARM. When this failed, he retreated with his new friends, Nexus, Smokescreen, Perceptor and Torque to the abandoned military base Fort St Pyrotron- and there, he did battle alongside them with the entity known as Prime Nova, in the process exposing himself to massive amounts of energy, the effects of which are yet to be realised. Soon after, he left alongside his newfound companions, to travel to Iacon and meet up with a few old friends…
Weaponry: L-20 SIDESWIPE Fire Type: Single shot Damage: 5 Accuracy: 5
A-30 IRONHIDE Fire Type: Full auto Damage: 5 Accuracy: 7 100 rounds to 4 cartridges
Specialist Skill: ENERGON BARRIER: This creates an energon shield dome, equivalent to Armour: 30%. Covers you from enemy fire on all sides, but can be passed through by physical objects, such as advancing opponents or hurled det packs. Fragments over time.
Hoist: Hmm, I'm guessing nothing to do with Beast Wars or Armada, so either a sequel based in or around the first renegade rp trilogy or War For Cybertron? I'm guessing War For Cybertron!
