Latyrx7 was impressed with D-Fib's spirit. She took no garbage it seemed and she was clearly intelligent. "We're what people called Renegades. We're a gang of ex-Autobots and Decepticons who have come together because we're sick and tired of listening to what our leaders tell us what we must do. Actually, Buckshot and myself got tired of our last boss and ditched him and everyone else here came along for the ride."
Buckshot raised a hand to interrupt. Yeah, we were all prisoners on the prison moon of Cybertron. Locked up and frozen in Highram. Ain't nobody escape from there. But something is going on that we're not so sure about. Optimus Prime himself told us so when we were freed. Said something about a force so strong that he needed our help. Then everything went full void, some robots got killed and we made it out."
Latyrx7 waved for Buckshot to shut up. "Yeah, not our fight. So anyways, your ship? It got a name? And since you can fix it well, your hired!"
Latyrx7 then nudged Hoist. "And he can help you. You can fix things, right? You look like you can fix things. Ok that's settled. Hoist and D-Fib will fix the ship. Roadtrain, Indelible and myself will have a look outside and meet up with Air Fang. Hopefully, he's had a good look around the area and can tell us if we can find something we can use to fix the ship."
Up in the cockpit, Knockout felt he needed to reassure Indelible that they needed to do the right thing. The right thing meaning not telling the others about the aliens. "There's nothing we can do if anyone wants to leave the ship. The way I see it is since so many of these humans aren't around anymore, they won't run into then and tell them what happened. Fact is, we need materials to repair the ship. So let them go but we need to keep quiet about this invasion stuff. And sure, if you can grab a fleshling and study it, I don't care. Just make sure it's dead so it doesn't talk!"
The ship's internal com system came to life with Latyrx7's voice. "Indelible, any word from Air Fang?"
Knockout actually panicked and answered for Indelible. "No! I mean, why that's a negative. He hasn't reported back. I mean, maybe he's just taking in the sights? He simply must be the irresponsible type since he hasn't reported in. I doubt he would answer any messages from us anyhow."
"Knockout? I thought you would of been in medical? No matter, send Indelible down. He's going on a scouting mission for materials with Roadtrain and myself."
"I'll send him down right away, boss! Over and out! Remember, Indelible. Not a word about the invasion!" Knockout said with a finger waving in Indelible's face.
Back in the hanger, Buckshot figured he was stuck with the ship and on guard duty since Latyrx7 hadn't given him any orders. But what better way to make sure those left behind didn't try to take off leaving them behind? Buckshot began to have a look around in the other containers for what he could find, wondering if they contained more member's of D-Fib's crew. He opened one container and was pleasantly surprised. "Well what have we here? Hey L7, we got a case of energon magazines here! All types of ammo. This must have been for Highram's security."
