"Computer launch a scout probe", ordered Convoy as most of the others entered the bridge, "Either they're out of the area and we can get a better view, or they're not and this will be a very short transmission", mused the leader out loud.
The computer acknowledged and from the window of the cockpit of the bridge a small metallic sphere flew from the ship, extending antennas as it flew and disappeared on it's way to the forest..

In the armory, Grunt loaded up on ammo for his heavy blaster rifle, with grenade discs and all. With that done, he grabbed his new energon battle axe. He banged it against the floor, activating the power crystal inside, charging the axe's blade. 'Lovely!'
Chewing on his cy-gar, Grunt exited the armory and made for the closest exit to get him close to the outside of the ship. He then radioed in to Convoy. 'Ready for action Commander. I'm at the south side of the ship near airlock C.'

Reaper had headed down to the armoury as well. He picked up his trusty sword and slipped it into the sheath on his back. He then went over to another weapon rack and picked up a pair of blasters. He let out a low whistle and attached them to his thighs. He headed for Airlock C.

After checking that the area was secure, Grunt proceeded back towards the bridge. He saw Reaper approaching and gave him the 'everything is in order' nod and the two of them went to meet up with Convoy.

Dinoboss escorted Torrent to the bridge where Noble was waiting for them.
Dinoboss: "So what's the plan, sir?"

Grunt entered the bridge. 'Everything is tight commander, what's next?'

For a klik Noble didn't answer and was hitting buttons on the console and reading off the information sent by the probe of the screen relaying all the information..
"Slag! I was hoping they would still be there!", muttered Convoy, "I sent a probe out to investigate the forest but both the Destrons and Glitch have long gone.." The leader of the MPC stood and thought for a while, the situation weighing heavily on his mind. "I know we've lost glitch but we should perhaps investigate? In bigger teams this time however, look for some clues as to their whereabouts, the drone is advanced enough to do this. My only worry however is leaving the base unattended, even with the new defense system in place. Which also takes a lot of juice to run..
Any suggestions?"

"How about half of us stay, and half of us go. Best of both" suggested Torrent leaning on the wall, arms folded and one leg up against the wall

Dinoboss shook his head
Dinoboss: "There are only five of us. That means we'd be splitting up itno a team of three and two. Those aren't good odds against a squad of Destrons. What ever we do, we do as a unit."

Reaper unconsciously stretched his wings slightly.
"I agree with Dinoboss, splitting up is a bad idea. Whatever we do, I'd prefer it didn't involve me flying close to them, not after last time. I'm wasted on the ground."

Grunt, chewing on his cy-gar and stroking his chin, finally spoke up after giving the situation and suggestions some thought. 'Too many unknowns. We keep wondering about them and were going to end up reacting too late. Its true, were out numbered and worse, they have one of our own. Thats a major card they have against us. Glitch has information, they'll torture it out of him. If he survives, they'll use him as a hostage. Slag, they could kill him and use him as leverage before we'd knew he had gone and met his maker. Now the drone hasn't picked anything up, maybe we do need to investigate. Splitting the team ain't a good option but we ain't taking it to the enemy so I think it should be left in the table. If Convoy wants info, we send in our fastest to get it.'
Grunt turned to Reaper. 'Reap' is special ops, this is his specialty. Making the impossible possible. Now hear me out before anyone interjects. Lets assume the Destrons know they have the advantage in that they know everything about us. And even if they don't, they properly have a good idea about where to find us. How soon, depends on how long Glitch can hold out for but even if he is dead, they found him in the area, they'll be back. I have an idea but it'll cost us and it'll only work if Metalingus is stable enough to move and keep alive for a long time before his systems give out. The two things keeping us on this planet is his trashed ship and those Destrons. I say we make the ship work for us by taking out those Destrons. If were attacked, I say we rig the ship to blow and take down as many of them as possible. If were smart, we can reduce the odds by at least half and if were lucky, make them think were dead and then hopefully, find their ship. This sitting around isn't getting us anywhere, we need to get active. And if Reaper ain't feeling up to the task of heading out there himself, I say he goes with back up. Who ever they are, need to stay out of sight while he investigates. If the Destrons attacking Reaper, they'll be in for a nasty surprise when the back up team jumps out.'
Grunt crossed his armed, waiting for a response.

Reaper straightened up.
"I'll do it, if need be. But back up would certainly be nice. What were my reaction times against the turret? I'm sure I'll be able to react to the Destron's weapons better now I know what they've got, even if I found out the hard way.
I see a small problem with rigging this place to blow if attacked by the Destrons. There's more of them than us, odds are, they'd leave someone behind on their ship. Then again, they're Destrons. They'll probably come here with everything they've got. We just have no way of knowing."

Dinoboss looked over to Noble
Dinoboss: "We need to focus on defending our position, or moving. I hate to point it out, but Glitch wasn't a team player, and if they are trying to get info out of him, he'd probably give it away in a heart beat to try and save his own hide. No use to go looking for the Destron's if they're gonna find us anyways. We need to give the ships defenses everything we got to withstand an attack, and I mean everything. That, or we abandon ship, pack up what we can carry and set up in a new location. Otherwise we are a big bulls-eye for the Destron's."

'Chances are the Destron's have a ship as well. Thats too much firepower to deal with. But, if Reaper and the backup team did come across some Destrons, and they lure them back here, Reaper can set them up so that the canon takes down a hole squad if need be. They were lure them into the ship and,'
Grunt punched his palm for maximum effect. ''We take the rest of them down. Hopefully they think were dead and then we move on them. We got to do the unexpected at this point. And even if were without a ship, we're going to be overdue very soon. I'm sure MPC HQ is gonna miss us soon. Well maybe not Dinoboss...'
