Is your favourite Transformer also the one you most identify with? If not which TF character do you identify with? It doesn't have to be G1 it can be from any era/line/show.
As many of you know, (Or may not if you're new); Hoist isn't my favourite Transformers character ever, that's G1 Grimlock. I do have a connection with Hoist because, as a child,; I had mostly minibots until I got him one Christmas. So he was my first regular size TF, which is why I loved the hell out of that toy, it wasn't really about the character in the show lesser the comics. So do I identify with him then? Well yes and no. No because for the reason stated that's more of sentimental attatchment.
So looking it as an Adult who would I share traits with? Maybe Cosmos - outside looking in, maybe a bit of beachcomber mirage's pacifist atributes. Maybe even comic G1 Ratchet's - doesn't have the equipment to fight back but will take a stand/fight when they have to?
What about you?

Prowl. Cause I'm quite, calm and reasonable.
Then Jazz. Cause I can adapt to situations and sometimes my crazy cool side comes out to party.
Then Starscream. Cause I want to over throw Hoist and take over TTF!

Yup, that's me.
My time at TF: Civil War always had me at odds as to which character I should play. I had a different mindset back then which continued here at TTF when it came to GMing in the RP. When dealing with players and stories, I was always trying to think ahead and keep steps ahead of ppl. But then when it came to social interactions I wanted to crack jokes and have fun. So when I'm serious I'm Prowl, when I'm having fun I'm Jazz.
*fires at Hoist from behind*
Hoist has fallen, I am your new leader!

Way late with this!
I actually had to think hard on this one surprisingly, but there are a few Transformers that come to mind that I can think of. Primarily, I feel I connect most with Optimus-cliche as this may be- and comics Windblade. This is mostly because growing up, I definitely grew up fast and felt a sense of many self-imposed obligations that are biting me in the arse later. So a sense of duty, being good natured, and having to learn to navigate some personal issues has definitely been the forefront of my life of which I feel I have seen a lot with these two characters.
Armada Starscream is another big one. There is a big part of me that struggles to show I am more than what I am and a deep loyalty despite my many conflicts with those I am close to. At times I feel lost, but I somehow still find the light in the darkness, which is probably why I connected so much with this version of Screamer.
Certainly, I have to say Tigatron as well. I was always a quiet loner, and to a point I am but have grown more open and easy-going with people just as we saw with the big cat himself over the course of Beast Wars.
