This rpg takes place at the same time the BeastWars show was happening but in the present not the past...
Below are the summaries for the 3 episodes that comprise the Alpha Trilogy. ----------------------------------------------------------------- The Alpha Trilogy
Isolation: Episode 1
It was a routine mission, transport half a dozen stasis pods containing top Maximal Council members to Outpost 319 for a conference. There should have been no problems, just a simple ship run by the Maixmal defence forceand headed by their top security chief. All they had to do was keep the ship on course and make routine checks on the councillors pods amidst the cargo holds other colection of stasis pods containing Maximal staff and personnel for Outpost 319.
Then the Predacons struck.
A rogue force, headed by a dangerous and mighty Predacon warlord came from nowhere and opened fire on the unsuspecting Maximal transport from their own a$$ault ship. There was a brief and brutal space battle leaving the Maximal vessel crippled and the crew in stasis lock. Quickly and efficeintly the Predacons boarded, sweeping through the ship and making off with the six Councillor's pods, deposting them withing their own vessel.
When the Maximals came to they quickly realised what had happened and more importantly what they were missing! Homing in on the Predacon attack craft they followed it and eventually managed to catch up and retalliate. Still the Maximal ship was far too damaged from the previous a$$ault and fared badly. All seemed lost till the security chief took the helm and set a course for full on collision, hoping he could cripple both ships into drifiting. They collided and explosions ripped through both ships, destroying engines, course guidance, computer systems. The two mighty cruisers spun out of control and headed toward a nearby planet, being pulled in by the planet's gravity. The Maximal ship's computer responed by jetisoning the stasis pods from the cargo hold into orbit for safe keeping as both ships continued to fall planetward.
Once on the surfarce the Predacons and the Maximals used the cyber beast technology to reformat their bodies to suit the environment. Unfortunately L7's went terribly wrong, fusing two animal forms togther, becoming more beast than bot he fled the ship and went missing.
Under Terrorclaw's orders Venom moved the stasis pods of the council members to a secret location should the Predacon ship be attacked.
Primal Convoy went to track L7 down but stumbled upon Terrorclaw and the snake like Predacon Venom. A battle in the jungle ensued.
Hellfire chanced upon a stasis pod that had fallen from orbit and met the new Predacon Striker. together they a$$ualted Iceblade at the Maximal Ship.
Simultaneously two huge techno organic beasts attacked the two fighting groups. Iceblade, Striker and Hellfire were forced to work as a team to try and fight the monster and eventually succeeded although took damage from the battle. Terrorclaw was wounded severely and limped off, Primal faired no better and would have died had L7 not come to his sense and leapt into the fray instinctively. The timely arrival of Iceblade and the new Maximal Wrecka turned the tide of the battle and togther they destroyed the rampaging beast.
Gathering up Primal they returned to their ship...

Episode 2: New Allies
Several weeks had pa$$ed for the Maximals and Predacons on the strange planet both groups were stranded on. There had been no conflict but a lot of work. In the Maximal ship Shadowwolf and Iceblade had toild on repairing a smuch of the ship as possiblke and had installed defence turrets in the event of attack. Under Terrorclaw's supervision the Predaocns had doen the same and now two mounted cannons guarded their entrance ramp.
Primal COnvoy had comer back online and called for a meeting with the other Maximals where he outlined a new plan to recapture the kidnapped Council members stasis pods. At the same time other Maximals suggested they scout further north to see what the local area was like to tactical reasons. Primal agreed and Shadow Wolf and Lion7 set out for the Predacon base whilst Iceblade, Wrecktron and Convoy set north into the frozen wastelands.
As they progressed they saw shapes moving in the distance and amonsgt the densely packed trees, perhaps more techno-oragnic creatures that seemed to populate this planet? Soon they reached the base of a huge snow capped mountain range and searched for a way through. it was Iceblade who discovered a underground tunnel and cavern heading deep within the mountain. The tunnel wound for a while until, he reached a deep river and lake that must lead to a sea. In the centre of the lake was a rocky outcrop that was litered with ancient Cybertronian technology from the Great War. Iceblade didnt have time to decode it as a distress call came from Primal.
Meanwhile Terrorclaw led his Predacons to retrieve new stasis pods that had landed on the outskirts of the great desert and jungle border. They reprogrammed the Maximal protoforms with Predacon personality components to activate Mechowar and Sting whilst hiding the two remaining pods for later use. After 'convincing' them to submit to the Warlords rule the continued to the Maximal ship. Sting returned to the Predacon ship to recharge. Upon reaching the Vanguard the Preds attacked, destroying the turrets with ease and gaining entry. Terrorclaw discovered the Maximals Lion7 and Shadowwolf had been dispatched to his vessel and sent all the Predacons but Mechowar to deal with them while he tried to activate the Vanguard for himself.
Lion7 and SW managed to gain access through the cargo hatch as Sting left to rejoin the other Predacons and cautiously explored the crashed vessel but found no sign of the Councillor's stasis pods. They hid in a secure looking chmaber as footstepos approached and discovered a penal colony stasis pod. Liuon7 knew of the penal colony where only the worst Maximal criminals were sent and expressed caution. Before they could decide what to do they had to defend themselves against Venom who was no real match for the two warriors and was left near dead but not before inflicting a severe wound on the fuzor. Knwoing they couldnt drag the stasis pod with them and not wanting to leave the convint for whatever Terrorclaw had planned they relased him. The Maximal introduced himself as 1097, his penal code number, but professed to not remembering anymore of his past or why the Predacons had appreantly liberated him. Making a hasty retreat they went to leave the vessel and return to base.
As the predacons headed back to their ship they foudn the empty stasis pods they had hidden open and were attacked by Zeretaul and Banzaitron. After a confusing battle both sides realised they were Predacons and joined forces to return to the ship. Before they could reach it a giant creature rose from the desert sands and attacked. It was many times the height of a Predacon but was composed to Cybertronian alloys and techno organic material. After a hard fought battle the Predacons used team work to beat it down and kill it.
1097 soared overhead in vulture mode and saw the returning Predacons and directed Lion7 and SW around them to escape.
Iceblade, Wrecka and Primal returned to their ship to find its hull severely damaged and headed to the bridge to encounter the intruders. A short battle with Terrorclaw followed and the three wore him down until he was deactivated. Placing him in stasis Primal ordered Iceblade and Wrecka to retrieve a new protoform while he saw the any other intruders that might be on board.
Mechowar had hidden himself in the engine room and managed to activate the ship, overcoming Iceblade’s security codes. The engines fired and the Vanguard began to the to the air. Primal realised what was happening and headed to the engine room.
The Predacons returned to base to find their own guns against them and had to fight their way in. They found the stasis locked form of Venom and threw him in a CR pool before securing the HQ once more.
Iceblade and Wrecka found themselves on a wild goose chase, as the pod was empty when they arrived with no sing of the occupant. Hearing the engines of the Vanguard over the jungle they hurried back to the clearing to find out what was happening and ran into Lion7, SW and their new ‘friend’ on the way.
Primal felt the ship rise into the air and ran onwards through the decks and corridors encountering all manner of inbuilt security measures Mechowar was activating. He was struck many times by blades and lasers on his way but fought through by strength of will alone. He reached the engine room and kicked the door down and began to search out the Predacon intruder as the ship began to drift northwards toward the mountain range on autopilot.
The Maximals below worked quickly they knew they couldn’t shoot the ship down without killing Primal but they couldn’t let the Preds take control of it and escape with the Councillor’s stasis pods. Lion7 was too injured to fly so Iceblade entrusted 1097 with the codes to the ship and he took to the air to bring it down.
Primal cornered Mechowar and the badly damaged Maximal tried to subdue him but was beaten down by his electro tentacles. As stasislock threatened to over come him he used his last vestige of strength to fling the Predacon threw the hull itself and down to the ground below. 1097 had gained acees and whilst Primal struggled to stand he looked at the flight controls before smiling and punching in Iceblade’s self-destruct sequence. Primal heard the warning over the comm. And tried to stop the sequence but it was locked in and he couldn’t stop it. Hurrying to the bridge he tried to reach the escape pods.
The Maximals saw the Vanguard near the mountain and tried to shoot it down but it was too late, it hit and the ship exploded in a mighty eruption of energy. A lone escape pod fell from the air some short distance away and landed, the Maximals split up and headed to investigate. Iceblade threw wreckage aside a she searched before he heard Primal’s weak voice from under a turbine. Heaving it aside he knelt by his old friend’s side and listened to his last words as he faded away. He spoke up upholding the Maximal code and doing what was right as they light dimmed from his optics forever. SW and Wrecka opened the Escape pod and found Terrorclaw still in stasis, Primal had sacrificed himself to save the Predacon’s life. 1097 flapped down and explained there was nothing he could do onboard the Vanguard as Iceblade and Lion7 joined them at the escape pod and they argued about what to do next before deciding to retreat to the caves under the mountains and rethink. 1097 began mocking the Maximals and their decisions before being driven away by them in rage and grief. The convict took to the air and sneered a them telling them they’d regret spurning his aid and was gone. Wrecka wanted to kill Terrorclaw and be done with it but SW and Lion7 intervened and the fuzor took the inanimate warlord with them refusing to take a life out of combat and knowing it would be a bargaining chip in the coming days.

Episode 3: Monster Island
The capture and death of the Predacon’s and Maximal’s leaders respectively had made the goings hard for the last month or so. Each faction had tried to make the best of their situation. The Maximals relocated to the underground caverns at the base of the northern mountains that Iceblade had discovered and turned it into a fortified stronghold. The Maximal engineer had managed to adapt some of the systems on the ancient Cybertronian computer station in the cave to work with maximal technology salvaged from the wreck of the Vanguard. The Maximals were joined by a young new warrior named Sureshot who quickly ingratiated himself with the team and made up for any shortcomings with a fresh attitude and eagerness. Using a honourable Maximal ballot ShadowWolf was elected the new leader being the most competent for the role from the current roster.
The Predacons fared worse without a strong leader. Mechowar sealed himself in his lab for weeks refusing entry to everyone; all they heard was continuous noise of the bizarre scientists working away on something. Venom took over the cargo hold and built a workstation for himself down there, improving the ships systems and defences from his now wheelchair bound form. The other Predacons entertained themselves on their own agendas during this downtime although discontent was brewing. They were joined by several new warriors from fallen stasis pods, namely Galvatron and Megatron, two Predacons who had taken the name of famous Decepticons as tributes. Eventually Mechowar emerged from his lab and insisted the Predacons seek out one of the techno-organic beasts that had been fought before now and capture one.
Meanwhile the Maximals had decided to do some recon on their foes. The new Commander ShadowWof sent Lion7 and Sureshot out under the command of Iceblade (who he felt needed some air after his long and hard work on the base). The trio journeyed for some time through the jungles to the south and across the desert to reach the Predacon base. On their way they encountered the strange bird Cutter who was soon driven away by the Maximals. As they arrived Mechowar’s search party left to hunt down one the of the beasts in the north and were soon away leaving the base with minimal guards. Using the cargo entrance that Lion7 and SW had breached the base through previously Lion7 attempted to gain access but got caught inside the base with his friends still on the outside. It was not long before the Maximal was detected on Venom’s newly enhanced security grid Megatron and Venom responded quickly and went to deal with the fuzor whilst Mechowar dispatched his newly unveiled Manowar drones to destroy the two Maximals outside the ship.
The Predacons headed north into the jungle and began to follow the length of a river searching for their target. Banzaitron was sent to scout ahead and came across a feeding ground near a waterfall that was littered with decaying animals and fish. Before he could respond a giant beasts attacked and almost destroyed the Predacon with its terrifying strength and aggression. It took it’s near stasis locked prey inside the waterfall to a cave, The other Predacons grew tired of waiting and followed where Banzai had gone soon coming across the battle ground and the waterfall. The faced the giant beast in battle and after much damage actually succeeded in killing it. They started the long journey back to their ship, dragging it behind them…
Whilst all this transpired Wrecka and SW had problems of their own at the Maximal HQ as an inquisitive techno organic beast managed to gain access to the caves. They fought a hard battle through the tunnels, eventually managing to drive it outside and killing it. A newcomer emerged from the undergrowth declaring himself as Airhammer, a Maximal fuzor warrior. There wasn’t much time for proper introductions as Terrorclaw made his presence felt by blasting the young fuzor from the shadows.
Lion7 found himself cornered in the Predacon ship against two foes in Megatron and Venom. After a valiant battle he fell and was captured, dragged off to the laboratory. Outside Cutter swiftly intervened and saved the two Maximal’s from a random manowar drone. Iceblade had not time for the treacherous and mysterious Cybertronian and soon sent him away once more. Knowing time wa sof the essence they boarded the ship and after hiding from seach parties and ransacking Terrorclaw’s private quarters made a rescue attempt in Mechowar’s laboratory itself. The two battled valiantly but the numbers advantage of the Predacons began to weigh upon them when Cutter intervened from nowhere, taking out one of the Preds and giving them a chance to get Lion7 free. The Maximals made quick their escape….
Back at the Maximal base Terrorclaw managed to work his way into a position where SW felt he needed to tolerate the Warlord temporarily. TC revealed data form his internal relays that he had received from the Predacon base about the capture of the fuzor Lion7. He also made it clear there was a bigger threat they needed him fort. Wrecka and Airhammer were dispatched by SW to go aid their friends. Terrorclaw accessed Iceblade’s computer and deciphered the ancient Cybertronian revealing it to be a micro station for a bigger relay centre on an island to the west. He also manage dto uncover the location of an archaic small transport they could use. The two unlikely allies set off immediately for the island.
The exhausted Iceblade and co. met up with Wrecka and the new fuzor at the edge of the desert. The engineer filled them in quickly and with Cutter in tow they pressed on back home.
Mechowar was furious that not only had a Maximal escaped but the Predacons had returned with a dead beast. Infighting began amongst some of the more power hungry warriors and seeds of backstabbing were planted. Hellfire received an encoded transmission from Terrorclaw telling him the co-ordinates of the island and to mobilise immediately. The Predacons were to caught up in their own agendas and infighting to even make a start on a means of transportation.

Terrorclaw and SW landed on the island and headed to a compound they had seen from the air. It was comprised of a central building with several smaller ones connected to it by aerial walkways. Without hesitation TC blew the fence away which activated two defence turrets. Together they managed to overcome the old technology and pressed on to the main door. Using his knowledge of ancient Cybertronian the Predacon opened the door to reveal more defences.
Iceblade and the others couldn’t believe SW had disappeared with Terrorclaw. A quick review of the computer made it clear where they had gone but for what purpose they didn’t know. As soon a sLion7 was back on his feet he dispatched the fuzor on a rescue mission with Airhammer and Cutter (much to Lion7’s dismay).
Terrorclaw and SW over came all the base’s defences and descended in a lift ot an underwater complex beneath the island itself. There they found a giant pylon that must run into the rock of the island itself with a red driver crystal at its centre. Whilst SW went and investigated some empty giant stasis pods beneath the pylon control room TC accessed the computer system. A green Decepticon logo appeared followed by the image of the Decepticon geneocide scientist Rainstorm.
“Log: 23.65 Project 4367238 proceeds as planned. Under orders from the (idiotic) Decepticon command I have been seeking to enhance the Pretender technology already used by some troopers in the Decepticon empire. By creating duplicates to the same specifications of the armour and imbuing them with limited independence we are able to see if they are an effective drone force.
Log 23.66: I have populated this planet with them in various regions and all are monitored through scanning stations. These stations control them through sub atomic particle waves and can render them aggressive or docile.
Log 23.67: Problems have arisen, the creatures are too difficult to control en ma$$e. One or two are easy to direct but as a military unit they are proving more and more difficult to coerce. I am terminating this project...”
SW was secretly watching from a secluded position, not trusting the Pred at all. The Warlord accessed some more schematics of the pylon and its functions as well as images of several location os the planet including the Maximal cave and the cliff the Predacon vessel was crashed on. SW ‘returned’ from his scout but it was too, late, TC had activated the pylon. The two battled as it increased in intensity and velocity.
Lion7 and his team landed on the island and found the abandoned transport before heading to the compound. They couldn’t gain access so tried to.
Meanwhile both the Maximals and Predacon bases were attacked by hordes of the giant techno organic beasts. The Predacons met them head on in battle and actually managed to stave off the attack before they were over run and their ship was almost torn to shreds as the monsters tried to get in in some sort of frenzy. The Maximals barricaded their doors and defended their base as best they could as the raging beasts hammered away.
Terrorclaw and SW battled on beneath the sea in the pylon chamber. The Maximal commander didn’t hold back and seriously damaged his foe that had clearly underestimated him. In pain and rage Terrorclaw struck back, wounding the Maximal himself. All the while the red driver crystal built up in energy and power, the pylon spinning fast and faster. Terrorclaw got flung onto the pylon itself and was near fried in its electrical field before prying himself free as Sw tried to stop the pylon. The Maximal blew off half of the Warlord’s face trying to stop him in his frenzied state but it made no difference, nothing seemed able to deter the power mad Terrorclaw. In desperation Sw fired a full energy beam at him but missed, the blast hitting the pylon and cracking the crystal. In a moment of clarity Terrorclaw released SW and looked on as the pylon now spun erratically.
The Predacons situation on the cliff got worse as the beasts started to push the ship toward the sea it self, the entire crashed vessel now hung on the edge of the massive drop. It revealed a cave opening beneath where the ship had lain. They became more intense and feverish as if something was driving their madness. Galvatron fell prey to one who threw him over the cliff to the jagged rocks far below.

Iceblade had deduced that the computer in their base was some kind of signal carrier and with one blast destroyed it. The beasts seemed to calm slightly and left the caves save for a few that Wrecka dealt with in his typical manner.
Terrorclaw tried to shut down the energy discharging pylon but to no avail. They were about to leave when it shattered and a large spire impaled the Warlord in the workstation chair. At the same time the cracked glass walls that had suffered so much in the battle gave way and water began to pour into the room. SW tried to free the Predacon to Terrorclaw’s disgust but to no avail. Still he wouldn’t stop trying. Soon the water and pressure was too high and both went under.
Lion 7 and his team evacuated the area as warning alarms rang through the compound. The flew high above it and watched and waited…
The driver crystal finally reached its maximum output and shattered, exploding and vaporising everything in its wake with raw unbridled energy. The base exploded in a blaze of fire works that cracked the island itself in two and started forcing it to sink. An energy wave was released that hit the three flyers and nearly killed them on the spot. They started falling, barely able to fly and stuck over an expanse of ocean and a sinking island….
There was another mighty explosion from the caves on the cliff where the Predacons did battle and the giant beasts fell to the ground as if some evil puppeteer had cut their strings. All around them their gigantic adversaries dropped like flies.
Cutter remembered the transport and winged his way to it with the now stasis locked Lion7 held by Airhammer in tow. They managed to activate it and watched as the last of the island disappeared beneath the waves. Solemnly they set course for home…
Epilogue 1:
Working togther the Predacons managed to stabilise the wrecked ship that was on the cliff edge and made quick repairs to the damage they'd sustained. The a$$embled crew stood (well sat in venom's case)outside the vessel looking across the sea from the cliff edge. [glow=blue,2,300]“Galvatron dead... and our ssship in ruinsss. Itsss a wonder we ssstill have the Maximal Councillorsss sssta$$sisss podsss “[/glow] Venom hissed. [glow=white,2,300]“Oh I wouldnt say that snake... “[/glow] boomed a voice from behind them. Quickly the Predacons whirred around weapons drawn and ready only to have them shot out of their hands. Five figures stood with smoking blasters before the Preds. ”Terrorclaw? “Hellfire asked [glow=white,2,300]“Here's a hint! “[/glow] the larger of the five sneered and transformed to resemble some giant mechanical turtle. Twin cannons fired and blew Hellfire to smitherines before his comrades. [glow=blue,2,300]“Er... what did he sssay hisss name wa$$s “[/glow] [glow=white,2,300]“You can call us Devil Triton!”[/glow]
The remaining Predacons raised their hands and pledged allegiance to the new leader.
Epilogue 2:
As the skimmer approached the mountains the Lion7’s crew were shocked to see a Maximal A Cla$$ War Ship in the clearing before the cave entrance. Quickly they landed and ran out as a ramp from the ship opened and slid down.
A huge figure walked out, towering over them, a smaller Maximal walked by his side surrounded in darkness as if it were a haze. Behind them Wrecka, Sureshot and Iceblade accompanied by another guard. As they came into full view the three Maximals were shocked to see their friends clapped in energon shackles.
The large Maximal stepped forward to confront Lion7. He needed no introduction, they all recognised Primal Convoy's brother.
[glow=blue,2,300]“I am Hunt Convoy, Supreme Commander of the Maximal Forces. You and your comrades are under arrest and are hereby pronounced Renegades!”[/glow]
