Computer:
WARNING SUCH ACTION WOULD BE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. RECOMMEND DISENGAGING FROM THIS COURSE OF ACTION.
There were times were the ship's computer could be a bit smart-alec in her replies, even sarcastic, unintentionally patronising and be very blunt. All to often it chipped in on other's discussions when not asked offering advice that wasn't needed, thinking it new better, this was one of those times..

"Apache..." Eko was half leaning, half-sitting in his chair, one hand wrapped around the chair's arm to keep himself from being thrown about the ship. "At this point I would be willing to give it a try... Please mind the computer and not crash us into an asteroid!"
And to Killer Punch, "I cannot get a clear reading from the asteroids. Our heading is too erratic... we're flying blind!"

Apache then began to sweet talk the ship computer. 'Don't worry, everything is gonna be shiny! I won't like a thing happen to my baby-bot!'
Apache then began to move the ship with some hard turns. He knew deep down that the others inside the ship could get hurt, but he knew right now their was a lot riding on him to save them and the ship.
The crazy robot took the ship to fly around the surface of one of the large astroids, hoping that the larger one would act as a shield against the smaller and faster pieces of rock. 'Yaaaahooo! Just like Huffer's canon back home!'[/color]

Killer Punch was rocked i his seat as Apache pulled of his stunts
KP: "Computer, activate auto-cannons and target incoming object of significant enough size to cause major hull damage. I want a full diagnostic report."

'I don't speak in percentages computer. Everyone hang on to your noggin or this twist will turn ya into a headmaster!' Apache moved the ship to avoid the asteroids.

The ship spun and turned, only just missing hitting a very large asteroid whilst trying to avoid several hundred other micro-asteroids and occasionally getting pelted by some of the smaller ones still.
+++ SHIELD INTEGRITY NOW AT 73%
ARMOUR AT 94%
WEAPONS... 100 %.. +++
The asteroid field began to slowly disperse with a clear way ahead visable to one side.

'Ini-Mini-Mine-Mo, any votes on which way to go? Hey, I made it rhyme! Quick, someone write that down for me before I forget it, my hands are a little busy at the moment!'
Apache turned the ship towards the opening, hoping dearly that someone would write down his newly invented phrase for all his trouble of saving the ship and its crew.

Moving it on...
Apache slowly managed to hap-hazardly fly his way through the asteroid field, much to everyone's surprise, and after a good while the ship was finally clear thank's to everyone's team work. After travelled through the next couple of star systems they finally reached home as the elongated pyramid shape of the base. As they made they're approach, they found the base was fully armed and had the shields activated, full security was on...

"Sir," Eko said, a note of wary concern creeping into his voice. "Maximal HQ appears to be on red alert. Sensors are reading all weapon systems as online and tracking, and shield barriers are online. Something most definitely is not right here...

Killer Punch unstrapped from the chair and stood up, looking out of the forward view.
Killer Punch: "Perhaps the others left on another mission. Hail the station and lets see whats going on."

Considering what Apache had just managed to pull off, Snowdart made a quick mental note of the rhyme he'd made.
He wiped his hands once more before putting the cloth away. "Here's to hoping that the worst of senarios has not played out while we were away.."

Eko punched up an open line to the station, and received an immediate response evoking a relief that there was no foul lay aboard the station.
