Bah as long as the sea beasties come out on top its all good.
Yeah i thought the same thing. Maybe Megs will get some of the later characters for his army (Pretenders and the like) would be nice to see him head up Bugly and co. against the Cybertronians who wouldnt know what a pretender was (in the DW continuity). Plus itd be cool to see how Bugly and whatnot got from WW to the tropical planet.
If im really really lucky i might even get some cool Ock art... fat chance!
Anyway back to gestaults!
Love the Starscream's Brigade ep when Bruticus first merges and punches Dev's down. Classic! 'Bruticus devastate Devastator!'

I dont like the scale gestalts are often drawn in. DW for example make them too big i think. In G1 ongoing ish 2 Sunstorm is as big as Bruty's fist.

see i thought TF Gestalts are meant to be that big. Wernt they that big in the G1 cartoon as well?

Yeah i prefer the idea of them staying the same size when they combine though not increasing Astrotrain style. That way a typical 5 member team would only be 2 and a 1/2 time the size of a normal bot max assuming the centre piece bot was above avergaly big.

[glow=blue,2,000]Finally, some time to answer...![/glow] Yes they may be smart L7 but did u see the weakness for Computron.... but other than that they are a powerful team. But not as powerful as the Predacons! [glow=blue,2,000]True, I just like them from there 5 members to the gestault they form.[/glow] Preds are cool. I loved the issue where they fight Megs.... I liked their art in the Call of the Primitives episode, when they combine at the end it looks freakin' awesone. Very Gundam-esque. [glow=blue,2,000]Fighting Megs was awesume! Then ripping apart Megs face! And that cartoon episode was wicket! One of the best animated episodes ever, in some respects better then the movie.[/glow] [/quote] [glow=blue,2,000]Wicket Picture![/glow] Yknow Dreamwave, they put charcters on the cover that they don't even use. [glow=blue,2,000]GROAN![/glow] Yeah i prefer the idea of them staying the same size when they combine though not increasing Astrotrain style. That way a typical 5 member team would only be 2 and a 1/2 time the size of a normal bot max a$$uming the centre piece bot was above avergaly big. [glow=blue,2,000]DW goes way to far, so did the cartoon. If perfer it if they were abit smaller but with the whole subspace issue I guess they could gte away with it since some of them have parts that come out to form a hand. And especialy explains how Groove can transform from a motorcycle to a massive leg as compaired to First Aid and his van mode becoming the next leg, if memory serves me correctly.[/glow]

yep i think ur right L7, and its true the technobots do look wicked when there joined together.
MY fave of the team though is Scattershot cause he has three transformations intead of two. Robot, Battle Station and Ship.

All centre piece robots except Snaptrap (and possibpy Hungrrr) do that i think dude.
Onslught has a base mode as does Silverbolt and Hotshot. Im not sure about Motormaster but im certain he does. Nice extra gimmick i think.
As for the size, yeah i can live with it, id prefer more reality though and a downsizing of power in them. They're portrayed as a little too hard I think. I liked the Piranacon vs Galvy fight in the original g1 comic as he was only a head or 3 taller than Galvs and it made more sense.

While I would have liked DW comic Devastator (Devastator is my favorite Gestalt, Menasor is my second favorite) to have the sunglass eye style instead of two eyes, I have to admit they did a pretty good job.

Motormaster doesn't have a third form... as for the rest, I don't think have a third form unless its something that they can turn into in reguards to the toy and not the comic or the show. [/glow]

I know Hotspot, Silverbolt, Onslught and Scattershot do but dont have a clue about the others. I have a sneaking suspiscion Motormaster does but you may well be right L7. Ill have a check in my books when i get home.
I am hoping to get the God Neptune recolour of priancon this year. Saw him last year but resisted, he is totally cool though and you got to love the name. Id consider getting the jap King Poseiden too purely for the name even thoughs hes the same as the G1 one.
