Your Account
You must be 13 years of age or older to register to this forum, and use an up to date, valid and working E-mail to join. You may only have one main account per person, no double alternate ID's for mainstream posting although separate accounts for RP characters are allowed. By joining you are responsible for abiding by the rules - both Terms Of Service and our Board Policy. You are responsible for what is displayed in your account - signature, avatar, and the way you post and your behavior to other members and staff members. You also agree to our rules on signature & avatar size, and keeping links to personal websites in your signature.
Please note, if you have not posted within 6 months of joining you will receive an e-mail reminder and if no action has been taking by the following month, the account will be deleted. We encourage our message board to have active members, we want to get to know you and know what you think about Transformers. Only 1 posts saves your account and shows us that your interested and have some feint interest of ever coming back! Deleted users are welcome to return as long as they intend to post. This does not mean you can keep signing up and not posting however, if caught doing so you will be excluded from the Message Board.
ADVERTISING
Please do not advertise you site on the board, you are more than welcome to leave a link in your signature however, not adverts on the forums themselves. We are not a spring-board for new forums & message boards or to leech members, guests or views. You're welcome to the spam-bots however!
SIGNATURES
Please make sure your signatures do not go over 600 pixels width and 250 pixels height, no one likes to scroll past long-ass signatures or weight for them for load so please try and make sure the file size isn't huge also. We will actively enforce these rules if needed.
AVATARS
The average avatar should be no bigger than 150 x 150 - that is the standard height set by ProBoards, again please try to keep file sizes down. If you really need an avatar to be sized down, please contact the admin - Hoist, who will be happy to offer this service for you.
Posting
a) Language - All posts must be in English, period. This is so ProBoards can make sure they enforce their TOS and for our Board Policy, so that we can see who is/or isn't breaking rules. Place names are fine, but please keep all posts in English. No member shall use foul language or hateful words toward another person or group of people at Total Transformers, and upholds to no foul language on any one person on this board because of their race, religion, sexuality or personal beliefs, or say, being abuse towards another member for a different viewpoint on Transformers or any other subject.This also includes actually using racial terms, sexually descriptive or suggestive language, bigotry, homophobia, ageism etc.
Please do not double post moments after you have just posted, their is an edit button, please add it to you previous post and delete your second post. If a thread hasn't been active for a while and you were the last to post, you are welcome to post again thus this is is exempt from the double-posting rule. As long as you have something new and relevant to the topic to say/refresh the conversation.
Whilst the censorship for curse words has been disabled to a point please censor your curses, and try to keep them as infrequent as possible, if not at all. These rules are here for a reason, to protect you and the other members and will not be compromised. We do not allow very strong/or obscene language here. This board has a family atmosphere and community of all ages, so let's keep it that way.
b) Spam & Flood posts - Spamming the forum. either in general or with links to your personal website, and flooding the board with posts is strictly forbidden at Total Transformers and will not be tolerated. We have zero tolerance for any attacks on someone based on their colour/race, age, sexual preference, religious beliefs or in general.

If you reply to threads from ProBoards mobile app and need to edit your posts (To avoid double posting), simply tap your post and the following will pop up:

Reply - Tap any post to reply to the thread.
Quote - Tapping a reply and then the quote function will quote said reply you tapped.
Multi - Tap a reply then Multi to then quote multiple replies. After hitting "Multi" you can tap any number of replies to quote and in the bottom bar of the app it will tell you how many have been selected. You can then press "Quote" to quote them and add your reply, or cancel.
Like - Like a reply obviously.
Share - Share to a number of resources including social networks.
c) Censorship - When making a topic please ask yourself this: .
"Am I posting this in order to present my view or am I posting this to anger and/or hurt someone else?" Please think, and use common sense when making a topic that might be considered a touchy subject. Consider the feelings of other members and how it might affect them.

Please do not feel that you can't post something for fear of censorship. Here at Total Transformers we want you to be happy and feel comfortable here, to be able to have fun and interact with other members. If you experience any problems, whether it's with another member, staff, a topic or any problem whatsoever, please contact the Site Owner (Hoist) or one of the moderators (Jazz, Onix Solo). You can PM us at any time. If you have personal issues with another member please keep it off this board. Sort it out in e-mails! We don't want any of it on this board or in PM's which would result in "he/she said this/that." If you have issues with another member then sort it out with them via e-mails, but keep it off the message board!
d) What not to post about. It goes without saying but never-the-less, inappropriate images, pornography, Illegal file-sharing linked with music, film or television shows is not allowed her, or linking to services that offer these services in accordance to ProBoard's Terms Of Service. This also includes full episodes from TV/films on sites like YouTube/Veoh/Dailymotion or any place that offers such material, Transformers or not.
Roleplaying
If you've never roleplayed with us before, first and foremost please read the rules: Here, before anything else. There's is also a handy start up guide you can read: Here, whilst all proposed role-plays will be posted: Here and Interactive Stories - Here. If you see one you like please post in those relevant threads to express your interest or make a new thread for your own rp ideas in the RP Rules/Support/Discussion forum.
All new role-players must create a character in Vector Sigma (As explained in the previous links) to get their character approved and make sure you've understood our rules (Rules, character creation tips in fighting.) You'll then need to start a thread in the BATTLE SIMM to see how you deal with things like interacting with other players, attempts in fighting and the aspects of those involved in fighting. Win or loose, we will determine if you are ready to roleplay here at TTF.
When the RP goes ahead. A forum will be made for it in the Role-play section and profile threads will be made where you can submit your profile (Copy & paste from Vector Sigma), to the relevant faction thread (Autobot, Renegade, Decepticon etc) if you are deemed ready to role-play. It will then be accepted or denied. If it needs changing, the GM of the RP will say so in the top of your post what you need to change - so always check your profile! If you have not fully understood any of the profile making process or not blatantly not read the rules, you will be asked to read them again.
A GM of an RP reserves the right to refuse a profile application. Their word is final.
Contacting the Staff
If you need help with any aspect of Total Transformers, please ask in the BigBot forum. You can also PM any of the Staff Members especially if it is a private matter The main staff are: Myself (Hoist), Jazz (Jazz) and Onixprime (Onix Solo). Please note "Grimlock" is purely for new accounts/registering problems, please try the main three always. If you disagree with a staff decision then please PM them to talk to them about it, that's what they are there for. Please don't go shouting/flaming the admins/moderators/staff on the forum, it makes the forum very unsettling and will upset other members as well as getting them also involved. If you have a valid concern, please feel free to express your opinion, but in a civil, and responsible manner. If you have a problem with a staff member, then please discuss it in an PM with them like a mature human being, or PM the Site Owner Hoist. Attacking any of the admins/moderators/staff in the forums will not be tolerated not matter how much you disagree with them. If you can't discuss it maturely and/or discuss it with the staff in PM, then there is no place for you at this board.
Other Information
Please do not bring wars from another Transformers Message Board here - I.E. If you have beef with a TF member elsewhere and see them here - don't join just to stir up things. Total Transformers will not tolerate ant board wars between members or any attempted inter-board wars from members from other Transformers boards and this one. The staff have the final say on any and all content at Total Transformers and may add to this Board Policy at their disclosure.
ZOMG The forum is so quiet!
As this comes up from time to time it's worth putting in the Board Policy. We've say it time and time again - you get out of this forum what you put in. Don't see a thread that interests you? Please feel free to make your own! Members and staff for that matter have personal lives, real lives and are busy - not everything revolves around this forum! In the end we want you to enjoy yourselves here whilst maintaining the friendly, family atmosphere we have continued to enjoy over the last decade+ years. These rules are here to help and benefit you and give you the very best experience at Total Transformers.
