Dai Atlas vs ???

Within the great metropolis known as Crystal City, Dai Atlas is present among the citizens of one of Cybertron's greatest cities. Its beauty is unmatched, its resources and riches know no limits, it's architecture achievements go unchallenged and the peace here has been an ever lasting reality for all that live here. Hardly any guards roam the streets or the security forces known as the Autobots are present. Only the great guardian robot known as Omega Supreme watches over the great city. 

However it would seem something else has their eyes on Crystal City. Alarms began to sound off and echo up and down the streets as the city was placed on red alert. The citizens began to run in a panic as Omega Supreme, off a great distance away, revert to his robot form to counter the forces that were making there way towards the metropolis. Dai Atlas found himself alone as frightened Cybertronians cleared off from the roads to hide.

As mass histeria and chaos suddenly broke out around him, Dai Atlas remained calm. He had learned long ago that keeping a cool head and evaluating the situation first paid off more often than not and yielded better results. There Dai Atlas stood, his massive form looming over the empty streets, yet his size paled in comparison to that of Omega Supreme off in the distance. Adjusting his optics to get a better look, Dai Atlas knew that whatever had forced Omega from his alternate mode had to be something serious.

Having taken a moment to think, he made his decision. Dai Atlas' large form leapt into the air and transformed into jet mode. Despite not being one for violence, Dai Atlas would not idly stand by if his friend Omega Supreme was being attacked, so he erred on the side of caution and brought his defense systems online, arming his Buster cannons. With thrusters engaged he headed toward the scene playing out up ahead.

As Dai Atlas approached Omega Supreme the threat became clear. Off in the distance, coming out from the clouds came a large shadow. As the shadow moved in and became closer it became clear that it was a fleet of Decepticon Seekers made up of several squads. Omega Supreme began to open fire and despite the agility of the enemy ahead, many of the Decepticon died a fiery death, but more still remained.

Some of the Seeker broke formation and headed for the city. One Decepticon stood out from the rest, his alternate mode being larger then the others. He spotted Dai Atlas and zeroed in, hoping for a better position to fire on the Autobot. As he did he announced over the loud speakers for all to here his communication. "To the citizens of Crystal City! Your city belongs to the Decepticons now! So says Lord Thunderwing of the Decepticon army! Any who resist shall be terminated! And I shall provide an example with your champions Omega Supreme and Dai Atlas!"

Thunderwing then opened fired on Dai Atlas with two homing rockets as he came in closer.

As if he was living a nightmare, one vision after another of impending violence broke out as enemies rained down from the skies. Slowing to a complete stop in mid flight, Dai Atlas hovered over the city streets. Even the mighty Omega Supreme could not take down every single enemy that came at him, and Dai Atlas watched in horror as the aerial plagues turned their attention to the city. In the process Dai Atlas spotted the ring leader of this destruction as he boasted of his own importance and spouted off his threats. Then before he could offer up his disapproval at this unwarranted assault, Dai Atlas was confronted with two projectiles bearing down on him.

As they got closer it was obvious they were rockets of some sort and in turn Dai Atlas engaged his thrusters and took evasive action. He began picking up more and more speed and yet he could not outrun them, his sheer size did not make for the swiftest of escapes and the rockets were gaining on him... "It's days like this that I wish I was smaller." ...Dai Atlas performed a series of barrel rolls and loops to try and lose the rockets but his attempts while completed, were clumsy at best. After all his alt mode was not designed for such things, it was simply utilitarian. No matter what he tried it didn't work and it dawned on him that those rockets were not just any rockets, but homing rockets.

Dai Atlas had just remembered he had recently had Sky-Tech armour installed. However this latest revalation was too little too late, and Just as he activated the dual rockets for extra speed, the homing rockets found their mark. Though the speed boost had not kicked in fast enough, the added protection of the armour prevented his spark from being extinguished right then and there. Rocket number one tore through his left thruster and number two ripped into his right wing like it was made of foil. It couldn't be avoided, he was going down.

Dai Atlas could see that up ahead was a body of liquid known as the Pool of Tranquility. It was large enough for him to enter as his body came crashing down in to the liquid. The fire that ravaged his armour was put out and he suffered hardly anymore damage.

Thunderwing expected a large explosion as he watched Dai Atlas go down. When he didn't see it, it bothered him greatly. So greatly that he decided to go down and inspect the damage himself. Thunderwing waved away his body guards as he transformed and landed on his own robotic feet. He neared the Pool of Tranquility looking for the body of Dai Atlas but found nothing.  "Autobot, come out and plaaaaaay!"

Dai Atlas had managed to transform just before crashing into the Pool of Tranquility. He was no worse for wear in robot mode, but he wouldn't be flying anywhere anytime soon. Knowing that Thundering would be coming to inspect the damage he had done, Dai Atlas made his way out of the pool and managed to take cover behind a massive pile of fallen debris caused just moments ago by the Decepticon Seekers that had turned their sights on the city. He heard the Decepticon tyrant approaching and unsheathed his thermal energon blade while also readying his shoulder mounted sling shock. There was no peaceful solution to this scenario, Dai Atlas would have to fight......and so he waited.

Thunderwing was growing inpatient. He activated his C.L.U.T.C.H. attack drone and sent it into the air. The drone began to circle the area, looking for signs of iife. As the drones scanned street, the sturtures close by and the poool, Thunderwing activated his shoulder mounted X12 Scrapmaker.  "Come out Autobot, don't be afraid to die. For if you don't I shall find someone else who can die in your place!"

Peeking around his place of cover, Dai Atlas spotted the drones in the air and quickly snatched his head back around the corner. He hoped that he had not alerted them to his position with that little stunt. Then the voice of Thundering rang out with an arrogant taunt. Dai Atlas replied... "I am not afraid to die Deception, in fact I welcome it when it is time, for death is a release. But today is not the day! If you want me come and get me!"

As soon as Dai Atlas spoke, the CLUTCH drone whipped around and brought all it's attention to the area where the voice was coming from. It started to move in to attack but came to an abrupt halt when Thunderwing commanded it to hold it's position. The Decepticon warlord aimed his scrapmaker where he thought Dia Atlas hid. Unable to see the legendary Autobot, Thunderwing decided to demostrate that he meant business. His scarpmaker began to warm up with a spin and within seconds it began to spit out a hail of bullets. Thunderwing rained down on the area with deadly projectiles for a moment, ceased firing and then announced. "Autobot! You fail to live up to your reputation as a protector of the innocent. You miss your oppertunity to land the first strike and even slay me." 

Thunderwing then signaled to his attack drone to cover the oppisite side he was on. "You of course understand that falling to the mighty Thunderwing in battle is in fact an honour. There's no shame is losing to the superior forces of the Decepticons. Its just a matter of time, and believe it when I say it Autobot, your time is up!

Thunderwing then commanded his drone to go in and attack Dai Atlas while his scrapmaker began to spray hot steel all over the Dai's cover, to keep him from thinking twice about escaping.

Dai Atlas remained behind the debris he was using as cover. A barrage of weapons fire lit up his location. His makeshift cover began to crumble around him as Thunderwings attack shot forward. Dai Atlas was protected from some of the attack but not all and he buckled a bit as several shots made contact with his back and right side... "I care not for reputations Thunderwing, I care less for the ending of ones life, even yours!" ...Dai Atlas stepped from behind his cover while simultaneously slashing at the drone with his blade and firing multiple bolas at Thunderwings direction, hoping both actions paid off.

There was no way around it in order to execute such a plan he had to put himself in harms way, so Dai Atlas took hits to his chest casing and upper thigh plate... "Falling to the likes of you or any like you is no honor, whether I live or die, the honor comes from doing so while protecting those who cannot protect themselves! So know this Deception, my fate does not lie in your hands but instead by the will of Primus, and whatever that will it shall be done!"

Thunderwing was too late in saving his drone. Dai Atlas came into view from another direction the Decepticon didn't think he would come. The drone exploded before it could fire on the Autobot as Dai's strike was true and ruined the drone with one swift stroke.

Thunderwing brought his scrapmaker to bear on Dai Atlas but failed at scoring a direct hit as he was lifted off his feet by the bolas from the Sling Shock. Thunderwing crashed through the wall of a close by building, severely hurt. Ingoring the damage report his internal systems were registering Thunderwing fought to get back on his feet, growing more angry as he listening to Dai Atlas speak. "Believe what you want, what ever makes you feel safe, I don't care! I'll squeeze your spark from your core chamber!"

Dai Atlas did not offer up a reply, instead he chose to press his brief advantage and charged at Thunderwing. Due to his injuries he could only move but so fast, but staying in one spot was even more dangerous. As he advanced, Dai Atlas was careful to keep his guard up as well as keeping his optics on Thunderwing's bodyguards, in case they decided to intervene.

Thunderwing looked up through the hole he made in the wall and was startled to see the larger then him robot coming right at him. Unable to bring his scrapmaker about due a slight malfunction, Thunderwing tried to get out of the way.

And the unstoppable force that Dai Atlas is shoulder tackled Thunderwing across the broken floor of the structure Thunderwing had been smashed into, sending him rolling across the ground again. Thunderwing hit the wall with a sickening crack and saw that his scrap maker was now bent completely out of shape, leaving it useless.
