As you will no doubt have noticed due to drop-off in the the current Renegade RP, it has now closed. With new players joining the board, going AWOL and not coming back it really affects other players, not just this RP it's been with other RP's as well as the main one for the last couple of years. Naturally other members are busy as well, which can't be helped either, which leaves us with a quandary on how we move forward. With this in mind, Jazz has decided to step down from his position not only as GM but as Co-Administrator, we had a conversation a couple of years ago about when might be his last GM of an RP, so this has always been an eventuality we would come to. Of course I would hope we didn't come to it and it would last as long as possible, but; as I said to Jazz I fully support him in his decision and reasons why and I hope you will to as he chooses to pursue his own ventures.
Although I've already thanked him, I'll have no problem doing so again for all his hard work on the board and as GM and head co-coordinator of the RP. Since Jazz took over from our former GM Ravage18 back in the day, he has help revolutionize our RP system which covers rules, character creation and our weapons/character point system. Let's also not forget Onix Solo who has also been a major part of this in the last couple of years as far as the weapons system goes and between them has made us have one of, if not the best roleplaying systems out there.
So where does this leave TTF and Roleplays?
At the moment, I will not GM, even if I did I feel the same energy and vibe we once had still would not be there, so there would be no point. My heart truly isn't in it any more and I know there are others that feel the same. So again after a deep discussion, this means a big change in TTF in terms of our history. We believe that for an indefinite time, it would be best to give all roleplays and Interactive stories a long indefinite break. Although TTF will continue, for the first time in our almost 14 years history roleplay will not be a feature on this board. We feel it's best just to take a very long indefinite break from roleplay, it may return one day if the members really want it then I'm sure some how, some way it will happen. For now though this is the transition period I'm talking about, a TTF without roleplay for a very long while.
What does this mean specifically for TTF?
Due to the above it does mean some slight changes over the next few months before our 14th Anniversary. The most recent RP and Interactive Stories will be sent to the archives and certain boards within the roleplay section will be hidden away. You may notice a few necessary immediate changes, but the bulk will happen in late July. This message Board is not closing down however, but it does raise questions.
What do you want out of TTF?
Will you still visit without our roleplay?
There will always be stuff to talk about concerning Transformers whether it's the toys, latest movies, games or cartoons/comics. There's one thing that's even bigger than our roleplay and that's the community itself (That's you guys btw!), and that's what is important to me.
