Myself, I am never too bothered - of course it's nice to spend time with the family and all that etc, but I appreciate, most people always look forward to this time of year so let the festivities begin right here!
Any expectations this year - is there anything especially you want or need, do you have any special plans for this Christmas (If you celebrate it), are you sick of it/christmas adverts already/ got the decorations and/or tree up yet? Have you eaten enough mince pies yet?!!!
Let us know here as we countdown to Chrimbo!!!

Well, where to begin...
On my end we already set up our tree (for the last time this year since its an OLD tree). Got the house semi-decorated since we normally don't go real crazy when it comes to my family, just a few decorations within the house and some wreaths on the doors.
For the most part got nothing I really want or need, maybe lots of books! XD

Books are good!
I'm not an avid book reader unfortunately. I used to be as a kid, right little book worm but in my adulthood i find it hard to just sit with a book, I get too fidgety. That said I want to give The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling a go after watching Mowgli: Legend of the jungle recently.

Tree is up, already had some mince pies and got Whammed on the 4th. (For those that don't know, there's a challenge to get through December without hearing Last Christmas by Wham.)
Started working in retail, so in a way I'll be glad when things are over, just so I don't have to deal with any more glitter. Seriously, every shift I look like I've murdered a unicorn.

I still haven't seen Hans Gruber fall from Nakatomi Plaza yet. It isn't offically Christmas until that happens. |

If you use the default theme enjoy the extra time of the Thanksgiving header, I expect tomorrow I'll switch it up to our annual Christmas skin! I better go check and make sure everything's still alright with that theme - it should be as I had to go through all of them after tinypic went down...

I forgot about Whamageddon until today. Then literally seconds later, Last Christmas started playing on tv. I'm not sure if that means I lasted 2 days longer than last year, or if I only lasted a few seconds.

I'm managing to avoid all Christmas songs at the moment, although a co-worker did start singing "Let it snow" at the end of the shift at work this week. I am on my second box of mince pies however although I've actually been good and not touched one of these from the new box yet!

By some miracle, I've got all my shopping done. Going to wrap everything tomorrow, then I've got work on Monday and Tuesday, Christmas Day off, then back in on Thursday.

How's everybody? I hope y'all good and healthy, you and yours. My family and I are ready for gifts, egg nog and gifts. And time off work!
I'm hoping to get some TFs under the tree as I put out some serious hints this year. If not I've already scoped out Walmart for Boxing day sales, so all is good.
If I don't drop in soon, everyone have a good one and be safe!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
