So I was on Forum Promotion recently as we have been featured, and there was a thread about people with message boards over 5 years+ and how long they think they'll keep going which got me to thinking. This year, at the end of August we will reach 18 years since we opened, in another two years if we're still around (And I've every belief we will be); we will hit the big 2 0. Let that sink in a bit, 2 ... 0 20 years! Does that make anyone elses's mind boggle/explode? (Is it bad that I already had a banner/theme idea in mind and have already got the banner done?) |

Honestly, I think this will be awesome! This would be the longest board I’ve ever seen running and still have people who come here to talk, even if it’s not all the time. Like myself due to chaotic life right now. But, this place has become something of another home when I have the time and I hope it continues to thrive for sometime to come! In the six (maybe seven now?) years I’ve been here it’s been a real blast! And I was glad I came back. Admittedly, I do miss some features here, but as is life that certain things ebb and flow. But point being, I think TTF will be around a lot longer than another two years.  |

It blows my mind even more when I think back and think that I was just past my mid-twenties when I started this place! Honestly, I think this will be awesome! Admittedly, I do miss some features here, but as is life that certain things ebb and flow. But point being, I think TTF will be around a lot longer than another two years. Anything specific in mind? |

Sorry for the late response Hoist, in the middle of moving! But it’s truly funny, I am right now reaching my mid-twenties and glad I can see this place is still running and could be shared so many years later! I remember stumbling across this place back when I was at least 19 and was surprised to have not found it sooner. And I have to admit, I do miss the roleplaying aspect of the forum. I loved how you guys did things, especially your lore and world building. But, that’s the roleplayer in me talking. XD I still however like that we have a section for bringing ideas to life, and I can’t count the number of times I’ve reference back to this place for ideas with how thorough it is. |

Not that I didn't like how the place looked before but I must admit my eyes are loving this new lighter look to the forum. This is awesome! Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day and ty to any and all that serve to keep us free.

UPDATE: A year and a half to go now until the big 2 0
Anyone have any ideas on what we should do to celebrate 20 years in August next year? That is monumental, and should be celebrated acoordinglu but right now I don't have the foggiest on what we could do. All the other anniversaries have sort just passed by with limited acknowledgement, this one should be special.
