[glow=purple,2,300]Oh everything is fine with the pregnancy. But when I went to the doctor, they are JUST now telling me that if I plan on having an Epidural for the labor pains that I have to Pre-Register for it. Whoever heard of such B.S. They didn't make me do that with Kayla. Granted I was in another state. But so now I have to go clear across town to some stupid office and pre-register for it. Friggin waste of time I tell ya. Why do they make us do this crap? ya know? It's stupid to me. humph! And now they want to put me on Iron pills cause I'm slightly anemic due to the pregnancy. I'm due in like 3 weeks or less. Like it's really gonna do alot of good NOW! And not only that, but then, Once again, they are JUST NOW telling me what kind of healthy foods I should be eating. They gave me a paper with a list of all the good veggies and fruits I need to eat to have a healthy pregnancy. HELLO? I'm due in just a couple weeks. You Jackazzes should have given me this info MONTHS ago!! They are so backwards in this state! But yeah, okay, I'm through with my rant. But other than that, everything is A-O-K! [/glow]

I thought you were already on iron pills... you know.. Materna?... that has iron in it... crazy that you weren't told to go on it sooner... and even though it seems like it's too late to change your diet... do it anyway... you'll find an amazing difference in how you feel in the next couple of weeks... plus you'll need those extra vitamins for the feedings... trust me

LOL.... sorry but that is kinda funny... she's obviously very strong ;D
drugs are always good while giving birth if you are there in enough time for them to administer them... but I'd never recommend the epidural... I got paralyzed by it, and they had to readminister the tube etc to take the bubble out of my spine once they realized why I wasn't able to get up and walk around sometime after ... I'd rather the Morphine... not that that worked too well either for me at my second birthing... they didn't get enough in me in enough time... and my last one... I gave birth in less than 1/2 hr of arriving... therefore... no time for any drugs at all ... thank heavens ZuZu was fast ;D... not like my other kids

[glow=purple,2,300]I'm not knocking the drugs. Through this whole pregnancy, I have taken my prenatal vitamins. And I AM eating and have been eating all the foods that were on the list. Being that I've already had a child, I pretty much know everything to do. It's just funny how they are just now telling me to do these things instead of telling me when I first got pregnant and went to my appointments. But I have been doing everything right.
As for the epidural, what I meant by that is that I think it's stupid you have to "Pre-register" for it. When I had Kayla, I just went to the hospital and when the contractions started getting closer and worse, the nurse asked me if I wanted the epidural. There was no going ahead of time to Pre-register. It almost looks like they're only alotted so much to give out. But anyway....................I have felt pretty good through this pregnancy. Just get a little fatigued every now and then and get some morning sickness. And yeah, I'd say that that chic obviously was pretty strong if she did that much damage. That's outrageous.[/glow]

[glow=purple,2,300]NOOOOOOOOOOOO thank you! I like the century I live in today. ;D Well, when the subject first came about on the epidural, my original plans were that I wasn't going to use anything. I was going to tough it out and try and have her naturally, but you just can't do it. I am so glad that I got that numbing medicine because I don't think I could have delt with the pain of giving birth and plus feeling the pain when the doc had to cut me. OUCH! And as for Jinx talking about getting the Morphine. I don't agree with that. You're not exactly "all there" with that stuff. It's like you're in la la land. When I have my child, I want to be fully sober and in my straight state of mind. I don't want to feel all dazed in and out, being there but then not being there, if you know what I mean. Which reminds me, Here's my plan. I figure when I go into Labor, once the first of the contractions start, I'll have about 20 or 30 minutes to get online and make a post that I am going to the hospital, then sign off and high tail it out of here! That way you all will know when I'm gone. Also, L7 will know so he and the RPG mods can prepare for controlling my character in the roleplay. Cause I won't be online for a few days. I'll have HA get on and tell you all what we had. [/glow]

Which is, overall, a very good thing. If I see your post in time, I'll be praying for a safe birth. Then I'll wait in bone-chilling suspense to find out if it's a boy or girl.
