What type of chores? My parents said as long as I help out around the place, they'll get it for me.

Ranch, same difference. We take in abused or neglected animals. I do work, like, mow the lawn, weed eat, stack hay when we get a load, chop firewood, all that good stuff.

My brother's best friend has a volunteer job working in a cat-rsecue shelter. He does not like it very much.
Do you have to milk cows?

Nope, no cows. I did milk cows about a year ago at a neighbors. We just have some horses, chickens, sheep, cats, dogs, and a parrot.

Did the cows smell funny?
I guess you get to go horseback riding a lot.

Cows? They smell kinda bad, especially their manure. Horseback riding, not alot, most of our horses have problems. One has a back problem, the other has feet problems, the next hasn't been trained enough yet, and the last is just an idiot. Have you rode on horseback before?

Things such as: Setting the table Serving dinner Washing the dishes Washing the floor Raking leaves outside Doing laundry Cleaning the inside of the refrigeration unit Trimming the outside shrubs Watering the plants Carrying the groceries It'll definetly make you very independant for when you're older, so definetly a good thing. I had to take more responsibility during my teens, but that was due to a sick parent, but you'll definetly be thankful for them in later life.

I know that. If I were to become a farmer, I'd have to know the stuff I'm learning now.

I know that. If I were to become a farmer, I'd have to know the stuff I'm learning now. Yes, responsibility is very important. My brother's best friend is a robotics genius, and I hope to one day be his co-leader in the factory he plans to start. So he is an excellent example of the importance of not giving up.
