Dying a slow, painful, food-related death. Two helpings of stir-fry followed by two helpings of apple crumble. Why do I do this to myself? Because it is delicious!

Watching a play-through for Resident Evil 2 on the original PSX.
Don't get me wrong I still love that game to death but in retrospect a lot of things seem so awkward! The graphics, the clunky running around/dramatic angle change when running of screen! A lot of weird "Arm reaching" between characters when he finds the injured cop early on - no idea what that was all about! Still love that game but looking at it in retrospect I start to notice things I never really did!

Only Resident Evil game I completed, and that was on the Gamecube. Completed it so many times, trying to get S ranks on both characters' A and B scenarios. S rank on the A scenarios, no problem. B scenario, whole other matter. Can't remember where a damn thing is and spend so much time running in circles.
I quite like the static camera angles, added something to the suspense. Never quite sure what could attack you or when.

That was fun - trying to go through it on all the characters to open up the extra characters and play as them! I hated those creepy lickers and the boss guy who would randomly crash through a wall or door (As I remember, which maybe wrong) - added great suspense to the game!

Mr X was great. I remember completing a puzzle to get a cog and having him burst through the wall. Running low on ammo, I turned tail and ran. Out in the hall, I thought everything was good, only for him to burst through another wall. That was a very "OH %&*£*^(($&£^$*%" moment.

Watching 1981's HEAVY METAL. One of my favorite 80s animated cult classics. Up next Heavy Metal 2000 (made in 2000), not as good but it is okay.

Haven't had a drink in weeks lol.
Had to go with my dad to the hospital today so he could have some teeth removed. At 8am. Which meant waking up at 6. So I thought the best course was to power through and pull an all nighter.

Just a local anaesthetic, so just a bit of swelling and a brilliant Marlon Brando/Vito Corleone impression.
