It was 11:13am in the Turnbull household on the east coast of the Florida Keys, and 16 year old Jesse Turnbull was hungry.
She'd only had breakfast about two-and-a-half hours ago, but already her tummy was rumbling as she sat in the kitchen watching her mother pull the daily washing out from the circular door of the washing machine. They lived in a modest house on the coast of Florida, just 10 - 15 minutes from the beach where Jesse would frequently walk hoping to find something new to add to her collection of washed up beach memorabilia.
With her head resting on one hand, it slumped down as her fingers raked into her golden hair. "Mom?"
"Yes dear?"
"I'm hungrryyy!!", wailed the teenager with a mock expression the world was about to come to an end if she didn't get something in her stomache.
"Well go look in the fridge, there's some left over pumpkin pie left over from last night", replied Jean, not even bothering to turn as she continued he tiresome daily task. Jesse blew out her closed cheeks, Mom certainly wasn't going to win any rewards for cook of the year that was for sure.
As Jean emptied the last of the socks and underwear from the washing machine, she lifted the plastic yellow wash basket and it's visible contents trough the holes and slapped it down on the counter, and saw Jesse's face. "Well make some toast then, but if you're well enough to eat, then you're well enough to go to school after all." She exaspirated. Jesse however just screwed up her face, not knowing what was worse - school or that pumpkin pie leftovers.
"So, Do you have any plans for today young lady?", asked her mother as she rested her arms on the laundry, then began sorting the clothing out.
"I thought I might go down to the beach, go for a walk, get some fresh air, meet some boys and hang out and get wrecked. The usual.", mocked Jesse.
Jean signed deeply inward, sensing the sarcasm. "You mean collect more junk from the beach for your collection. That bedroom hasn't seen a clean in months!"
Jesse pushed back the wooden chair and sprung up from the table , emitting a screeching, grating sound as the chair legs rubbed along the tiled floor, reminding Jean the floor needed another coat of wax. "Alright! I'll do it", cried Jesse slapping her hands down on the kitchen table, "There's no need to get so aggro!"
With another screech of the chair she pushed her way out and stomped out of the kitchen leaving Jean with a nodding her head with dispair, "But I'm still going for that walk along the beach!", continued a reply from the hallway

Half an hour later Jesse ventured downstairs, her bedroom still not tidied. By this time Jean had pegged out the washing and was bushy scrubbing the kitchen floor when Jesse stopped short of the kitchen.
"Hold it!", scorned Jean, "Not another step on this clean floor". Jesse turned, pulling a face and shrugging her shoulders as she scoffed along the sitting room.
"I'm going to the beach!" replied Jesse in a whiny voice.
"Don't stay out too long there's a storm coming", Shouted Jean after her daughter, "And don't slam the...
*Bang*
"door..."
The Turnbulls lived in a quiet residential close, just 10 minutes away from the beach, something that had become vital to Jesse. As she walked along the sidewalk in her pink shorts and stripy T-shirt, their wasn't much activity in the close, except for the mail man. The gentle breeze felt warm on her face, making her glad for both the fresh air, and the chance to get away from it all..

The warm sunshine glistened on the surface of the ocean as Jesse slowly walked along the beach, the sand trickling through her toes like fine grains of salt as she carried her sandals in one hand. The light breeze continued to warm her face and Jesse felt as far removed away from anywhere. It certainly didn't look like any storm would be hitting them today.
Turning around and walking backwards momentarily, the sun glistened at the corner of her eye, behind her on the horizon it was undoubtedly getting overcast. For a second she thought she saw a very feint light in the sky in the distance , but shrugged it off.
"Don't be silly Jesse", she thought to her self, turning back round, "You don't get comets in the daytime..."
As she turned wally back round and continued up the beach, something else caught her eye, something small and glistening in the sand. Slowly the waves of the lapped in, and for a second it disappeared, yet when the waves receded there it was, gleaming as the sun glinted of it's surface. It was almost like it was lodged into something, certainly it wasn't about to be washed away.
Padding onto the wet sand up to the small object, the tide came in again and lapped around her feet before retracting back. Jesse knelt down and pulled at the strange object before digging the sand around it, definitely lodged. It was cold and dark, grey-brown in colour with markings over it and a long groove like part of a pattern, but it was small, about the size of her hand.
Finally managing to free the bit of metal, she washed it in the tide as it came back, revealing more of the makings as it washed away the last of the sand particles. As she cupped the metal piece in both hands it began to feel tepid, and slightly warm, leaving a tingly feeling on her hands. Gradually as it warmed it started to glow and change colour as the whole of the metal piece glowed an aquamarine blue all over.
Out of sheer instinct, Jesse dropped the metal fragment straight away, it lay their in the sand again, slight sand particles on it's surface as it continued to glow blue, but intermittently like a throbbing pulse. With out hand Jesse reached out to tough it, her hands slightly quivering and a look of puzzlement on her face. As she reached towards it's glow began to fade making Jesse withdraw her hand back. Slowly it returned to it's previous state of a brown-grey colour as as the glow silently faded, easing down like a dimmer on a light switched.
Jesse waited a few moments before reaching out again and went to pick it up, it was stone cold again. As she rose back to full height she slid the fragment in her side pocket and looked around at the beach, and then her watch. It had been a good ten - fifteen minutes since she had saw the metallic object and sat and studied it, yet it had seemed like only a few minutes.
As Jesse walked back up to the residential area, way from the beach, she was unaware as she walked that light blue forks of energy flickered across her wrist watch.. With ease the watch strap slowly undid itself, not attracting any attention as Jesse walked, clearly her mind in another world. With a soft soundless splut the wrist watch fell onto the sand of the beach as Jesse walked on unware of her loss, slowly out of reach..
The watch flipped over in the sand, almost like it was alive with Energy. To the naked eye, the event was so small you'd miss it unless you had precise 20/20 vision or were looking in that direction. On it's back, the four screw separating the backing plate from the base simultaneously pushed them selves out, as they fell out the backing plate split into two as did the face of the watch forming the back and front shoulder armour. From the back to micro legs pooped out, at the same time two arms reached out from the bottom of the face, as the inside of the plate behind were the face had been folded up to th top and a small head popped out.
The creature examined itself and muttered something in alien Cybertronian, and it didn't sound happy. Up ahead it saw Jesse, almost near the edge of where the beach started, and ran across the golden sands as fast as it's legs could, kicking sand up as it ran and began following the female human teenager home....

It was around mid-day when Jesse arrived home, her mother Jean had tirelessly been waxing the floor tiles on her hands and knees when she hear the "Schlop" of white PVC door being opened, followed by a bang.
"Jesse? That you?", yelled jean to the hallway behind her.
"Yeah mom." The teenager absconded to the dining room as Jean effortlessly continued her work in the kitchen. Carefully she pulled out the fragment from her pink shorts and laid it down on the coffee table before plonking her self down on the sofa and switching on the TV. Nothing but Oprah again again. Grabbing the remote she tried switching channels but with the back of the remote all lose, it was Oprah or nothing.
Leaning over from the sofa, Jesse tossed the remote back down on the coffee table and left for her bedroom, "Perhaps some music would be good.", she decided. As she left she was unaware the remote had landed right by her fragment from the beach, which she had left lying around. Slowly the fragment began to glow slightly again as the remote next to it began to regenerate and fix it'sself....

Jesse hung out her bedroom window as she watched the neighbourhood come out in droves and began boarding up their windows. In the past hour the news was non-stop about a possible hurricane that could hit Florida. The sun had now long disappeared as Jesse's elbows rested on the window sill, the sky had clouded over and the breeze had turned into more of a chill as she watched everyone go about preparing their defenses.
With her dad still at work, she wondered who was going to do their defenses.. A frown broke on her face making her pull back up from the window and close it shut, what would they do? "Mooooooom?!", Jesse shouted from where she was as she pulled away from the window and ventured across her room..
As she left her bedroom she was unaware of the approaching Decepticon warship approaching the coast under a cloaking advice. Soon they would have much, much more to worry about than a storm..

Speedway got the message. "Well Its nice to finally hear you two. We are sitting at a Residential area as we speak we are waiting on my partner to get the Fragment. Also try not to transform here there is a lot going on with the humans they are all getting ready for this Hurricane." Speedway said sending a message back.
Bryan Knocked on the door of the house that the Fragment was in. "God i hope i can get that thing out before any of this hits." He said under his breath

Bryan didn't have to wait long when a woman, who was roughly in her late forties, answered the door.
"Yes can I help you?"
Unknown to both the Decepticon Warship, the Jhiaxus, still cloaked, loomed as it passed secretly over the nearby beach where Jesse had earlier found the All Spark fragment. Slowly it headed towards the small coastal neighbourhood...

Bryan took a glance at the woman and opend his mouth. "Hi my name is Bryan Rivers im a student of a nearby Academy and i seemed to have lost my Experiment at the Beech i seem to recal a person picked it up. I was glad to remember i had a traking device placed in it if it were to ever really be taken during my tests." Bryan said with a convincing face. He was also glad to take those few short years of acting classes when he was in middle school.

Jean closed the door slightly so that the gap was narrower, "We don't know anything about no experiment, or no tracking thingy. Now please get off my property!"
At the top of the stairs, Jesse had stopped on her way down listening to the conversation as it unraveled.

"Very well mam i am sorry to have bothered you at this time." Bryan said apologeticly before turning on his heel and walking towards Speedway and Speed-Trap. He knew that this was going to be just as difficult but he couldnt shake the feeling that something else other than this storm would strike he just couldnt put his finger on it.
Speedway noticed Bryan comming back that told him that this was going to be more of a problem with even the Storm bearing ever closer to them. "This isnt good Speed-Trap the lady wont let Bryan in to get the fragment." Speedway commed to Speed-Trap.

The pair had other things to worry about however as a great shadow descended over them and the entire neighbourhood, but it wasn't the storm.
Those few that were in the street as well well as Bryan and Speed-Trap looked up thinking the storm had come early, but what they saw left them in horror. As the humans looked up a blue-ish purple spaceship, the Jhiaxus, it's length covering the neighbourhood easily, decloaked above them and hovered there with it's giant Decepticon ensignia's blazed across the ship's hull...
======================================================
In the Turnbull house, Jesse had eased herself to halfway dowen the stairs. "Who was that mom?", asked Jesse.
"I don't know", replied her mother, "Some man.."
"Why's has it got so dark outside?!"
Jean looked around and through the side windows and top windows in the door, she could see that it has suddenly clouded over. "Oh I expect the storm will be coming soon, Jesse be a good girl and go down to the basement and get the boards. With your father at work it'll be up to you and me to make this place secure."
"Yes, mom...", sighed |Jesse and slinked off to the the basement.

~Something doesn't feel right.~ thought Speed Trap to himself.
*Ship decloaks*
"Wonderful... I guess it's showtime.... You might want to radio for help, Speedway." said Speed Trap after he transformed and armed his weapons.
"Brian, you might want to think about getting that fragment again." suggested Speed Trap, firmly.

"Yeah thats not good." Brian said looking up briefly and ran back to the house Banging on the door this time. "You might want to leave the house now that isnt the storm." Bryan yelled through the door hoping the people in the house would hear.
Speedway commed to Blitzkat and HQ. "Um Houstin we have a problem. We have a Decepticon Ship right ubove us and it aint here to help take the humans to safty." Speedway said trying not to sound a little funny before he transformed. "Great there is to many Humans here Speed-Trap. We need a plan to distract them i commed to Blitzkat in hopes of him becoming a decoy but i dont know how long it will be before he shows." Speedway said to Speed-Trap "Bryan you better hurry up they know about the Fragment." Speedway added.

From the Decepticon warship, a great landing ramp emerged and Starscream and his seekers, Soundwave and his cassettes, Rythimus, Mars and Salvador all emerged from the warship. Shochwave, as usual, remained behind to monitor things.
"Soundwave, begin scanning for that All Spark Fragment!", ordered Starscream.

"Aahh crud." Speedway said seeing decepticons exit the ship. "We are defeinately out numberd here Speed-Trap. "Anytime Bryan" Speedway added without glancing back.
"I know I know Speedway keep your oil pan on." Bryan yelled back to Speedway. "Common if you don't leave this house now something bad will happen now i need ya to leave please." Bryan added another yell through the door. Now kinda terrified knowing that Decepticons were about out of the Ship.
