Convoy followed Torrent to the armory and armed up with all his regular weapons, when they arrived at the cargo bay, Grunt and Reaper were already there. In the middle of the cargo bay was their craft, the Intreped, all prepped and ready. At the end of any mission it was the responsibility of everyone to make sure the ship was fueled, re-stocked and checked for damage, it's internal systems had to be check, all mechanical operations, weapons, fuel regulators, shields... It was an incongruous task at the end of each mission but it was strictly essential by order of Noble Convoy to make sure the ship was in peak proficiency at all times. Shortly after Noble and Torrent arrived, Dinoboss came through looking none too happy.
As they waited for Metalingus and Glitch (Who had wandered to his quarters after Torrent's return) to enter, Noble tried to explain to Dinoboss, he also figured it wouldn't hurt everyone else to hear..
"Dinoboss", began Convoy, "There's a.. 'thing,' out there, attacking a planets and it's residents who have zero defense capabilities. We have to assist! You can finish your investigation when we return..."

I know, I know. It's just shaping up to be one of those day's were I have more to do then there is time and I'm sure its just getting started.

Metalingus who had already gathered his gear made his way to Cargo Bay A and got ready to Board The Intrepid with others.

Grunt rolled his optics then took out a row of appeared to be screw bolts all rolled together, Grunt placed it in his mouth and began to chew on the end of it*. He then looked at the Commander. 'Sir, what exactly do you mean by "thing"?'

"Everyone get aboard the Intrepid, Metalingus - get those engines warmed up, Dinoboss, start the pre-flight check. And Reaper, get those cargo doors open when we're all aboard and depressurize the cargo bay. ", ordered the commander, "We don't know yet grunt, the same message just kept repeating on Auto-loop, so we need to be ready for anything. In which case we're a little pushed for time, so if you wouldn't mind getting on board and start the pre-flight weapons run through...", gestured Convoy reaching out an arm towards the ship...

Torrent Sighed and boarded the Interpid where he immediatly set himself down and did a double check of all his gear. "Grenades, check. Gun, check. Sniper rifle, check. Claws, check. Yep, I'm ready. And it Looks like I'm free for this journey, woo hoo" He said sarcastically, waving an imaginary mini flag in his hand.

Dinoboss walked into the ship and when he walked by Torrent, he lightly knocked him in the head
stop complaining
dinoboss sat in the front 2 seats of the ship and began running the pre-flight check

Grunt nodded to Commander Noble and made it double time into the ship and to the weapons controls. He saw Dinoboss' exchange with Torrent and sighed with an added grunt. 'Like the void calling the pit too deep...'
As the weapon control center recognized Grunt's voice, he was allowed access to the ship's weapons. He quickly logged in all the names of the crew so that anyone would be able to take over the controls if wasn't at this station. He then allowed a array of circuits from his wrist to come out and he logged in to the ship's interface, giving him complete control under he was logged out or disconnected.
All the weapons were functional and the reloading stations and energy components were fully charged. He gave the ok to all on the ship and began to access the ships short and long range scanners.

Torrent Growled at Dinoboss after his exchange.
"Well you're not exactly in the highest of spirits either slag for brains!" He shouted to Dinoboss. "Being Hipocritical about it won't help!"

Reaper sat at his station and waited for everyone to board the shuttle and for the doors to close. Then his fingers flew across the keypad before him and he began the depressurisation sequence. He continued tapping in commands, setting the doors or Cargo Bay A to open as soon as the room had been depressurised. A small light flashed infront of him.
"Depressurisation complete. Opening cargo bay doors now, sir."

Metalingus strapped himself into his seat and started getting the engines ready and was waiting for Dinobos to finish his pre-flight check.

The Dinoboss finished up the preflight tests then turned to metalingus

"Torrent, DInoboss, knock it off and remember the mission!", warned Convoy. The Intrepid slowly lifted of the deck floor on it's thrusters, maneuvering towards the cargo bay doors. Slowly but carefully this ship passed through into deep space. As it cleared the station, Reaper remotetly closed the cargo doors back up. "Dinoboss, activate the stations security systems if you please..", ordered Convoy, "Then take us into full cruising speed Metalingus." OOC: Continue in the Deep Space [Destron] thread please when you're ready.

After the Cybertrons had made their way into the far reaches of space, a deep silence echoed over the station. If you listened carefully the only sounds you would here was the whirring of machines, drones and computer consoles. Especially Dinoboss' security console... The footage of Shreiker's quarters continued to play when the shadowy figure returned and pulled the nearby computer console out, slipping something to the back of the console magnetically before pushing the entire huge console back against the wall. As the figure left it stopped before the door, noticing the security camera....  |
