"What about me?" Asked Hypershot. Folding his arms and feeling slightly miffed.

"You can stand in front of me and take the flak for me if you want."
Onix walked up to the head of the pack
"Let start hoofin' it"

"Just stay where I can see you, squirt...", grumbled Driveby pointing a dirty great big finger at the Targetmaster before walking off, still with pistol blaster to hand. Hanging around at the back, he waited for the others to make they're move so he could hang back and cover the rear as ordered.
Whilst doing so he looked around to the higher buildings and surfaces to make sure they weren't being watched. Good as time as any, he stored his pistol and drew his sniper rifle and assembled it, but not to use, but to scope out those higher areas to make sure they were immediately safe, for now.

Incendius took Hypershot by the shoulder and smiled at him. "Calm it, Hypershot. Just stay alive. We need a soldier like you to stick with the rear rank and try and cover the defenceless medics and snipers with your shields, okay? It's vital that you keep them alive." He let go and turned to Onix. "Amen to that, Onix. Amen to that." He loaded his guns and clapped his hands- "Okay,Gades! Form up!" - and lined up next to Roadtrain.

Roadtrain set Blastmaster on his shoulder and raised Old Painless. He took position between Incendius and Onix, giving them both a nod. D-Fib finished up work on Funcrusher and patted him on the chest.
"You're good to go, just don't over-do it." She smiled.
She stood and took up position between Hypershot and Driveby.
Roadtrain waiting until everyone was in position.
"Alright, keep it tight. I don't want anyone getting separated from the group. Watch each other's backs and we'll make it through this. And stay calm. Let's get this done. Renegades! Move out!"
With that, he turned to face Atlas's tower and set off.

And with that, Roadtrain's Renegades were off for the tower.
Tomboy and D-Stroy rejoined the group, each carrying extra weapons for the team while other Renegades they had met along the way were able to refit there comrades with more ammo.
Reports began to come in, the OCF troops were retreating back to the tower. Strategic reports came in, each one baffled as to why the OCF, with their army out-numbering the Renegade forces, would retreat back to the tower when they could force the invaders out.
D-Stroy and Funcrusher, under orders from Roadtrain and Incendius, took to the sky to help launch an attack on all sides of Atlas' tower and to combat any further air resistance.
Blastmaster, on top of one of the strongest Renegades alive, began to wonder if what he did was the right thing. His master never treated him well and it had come down to the last straw. But now he was at the mercy of the enemy with no way of protecting himself. He had told the Renegade what they had wanted, what use was he to them anymore?
But their was one more terrible secret that Blastmaster kept hidden. It saw it as the last bargaining tool in case his new 'allies' decided he wasn't worth the trouble.
If the Renegades knew what it was, or could figure it out in time, it would make all the difference in what was about to be the biggest battle of their lives.
