Just catching up with all the seperate character films before I go see this!
Thor, Iron Man 1+2 , Hulk film all done.
Haven't tracked down Captain America yet but have heard it isn't that good, is it necessary viewing before watching the Avengers or can I miss it out?
Can't wait!

Captain America isn't as good as the Iron Man movies but better then Thor and on par with the last Hulk movie IMO.

I agree, Thor was the weakest Avengers movie. Captain America isn't bad at all.
Avengers was freaking awesome. Was impressed with how one Avenger wasn't the main star while the rest were background. They really spotlighted all of them equally and you felt like they all were the main character. Ironman is still my favorite, but Hulk was great too. The new Bruce Banner I feel fit the part much better than the first guy would have.

Arrrrrgh! Seeing it this Sunday, you guys are killing me! I've gotta say, I agree with Onix- Thor was definitely the weakest, very cliched (though I always love Idris Elba, and the bit where Thor puts the hammer on Loki's chest to pin him down is freaking genius ;D). Captain America was probably above average, but I went into massive fanboy mode immediately and couldn't really judge it through all the lovely lovely references. Overall, Hulk was probably my favourite, but I got the impression Edward Norton wouldn't have worked well as part of an ensemble, his presence is very different on screen to Downey, Evans or Hemsworth. So, all in all, going out of my freaking mind with anticipation!!

Im glad the movie did great.Maybe get comicbook sales up.
Best part is I have 1-12 of Heros reborn which includes the titles,Avengers,Ironman,Fantastic Four and Captain America.
Disney made a killin since Stan Lee sold Marvel to them years ago.

I loved the movie. Saw it opening weekend with packed house. The jokes between the charactes went perfectly with the flow of the movie. If you have to choose between 3D version or seeing the normal version I'd suggest 3D.

I saw it in 3D and oh wow! It was awesome! I went out on a girls' night with my farrier and we both enjoyed the movie. I love Thor and the Hulk the best.
The best two quotes from the movie is:
Puny God. I'm always angry.
Those are the best quotes that I have ever heard and plus it is memorable too. I will be for sure, going to be buying the movie when it comes out on DVD. It will be in my DVD collection.
