So a fortnight ago because I saw they were on Netflix, I finally watched the Iron Man films and last weekend just gone Iron Man 3. I think they've definitely turned me into a bit of a fan. The origins in the first one - attacked, held hostage and forced to make his own missiles but makes an early version of the suit instead. The second one was okay but I think Mickey Rooney was wasted in the role, for me they didn't really do much with the character and I was more concerned with Tony Stark's well being. I still enjoyed it, but it was okay. Loved the third movie, fun, action packed, exciting and seals up the movies perfectly. Note: I'm not watched any Thor, avengers, black panther, deadpool, guardians of the galaxy or any other marvel films of recent years.

I love the CA films, each is different from one another and just so good! I think you'll like Thor. At first I didn't like them until I got used to the Marvel formula. And Ragnarok is amazing!! I don't think Black Panther was that great. Its a good film and all, but to make over a billion for it, well I don't know. But I ain't complaining, still a win for superhero movies! Antman is funny as hell! Dr Strange is awesome!! You'll think you're losing your mind! GOTG 1 and 2 is incredibly fun!! Deadpool is funny. No story but I don't think they were trying for anything great. Just going for laughs. And the 2nd one is better then the first one.

Wow, how have you manage to avoid them all this long Hoisty!!! Iron Man 1 is fantastic.
My personal faves are the Thor movies, as Jazz says, Ragnarok is awesome!!!
To be fair I haven't seen either of the GOTG or Black Panther yet.

I just hadn't got round to seeing them, and they didn't really interest me at the time - but after seeing the first film I was turned!
I'm tempted to just watch all the films in order, but my friend says there's like 22 I'd have to catch up on. Going old school I saw the two Sam Raimi Spiderman films but not the third, none of the other two actors incarnations. I saw the original fantastic 4 film (2005) and the two hulk films from 2003 and 2008 (But would need to see the second one again.)
I forgot I did watch Ragnarok round a friends house but he doesn't have a tv just a gaming console so the sound wasn't good (He's got a better set up since) and to be honest, I didn't have a clue what was going on when I could hear it.

Just watch the MCU ones. Watch the Fox and Sony stuff later. If you pace out the MCU in order you'll dig it. And you have to see the first two Thor movies to get a feel for the 3rd.
