Was looking at Seibertron.com and they had a link about Frank Welker being one of Hollywood's most sucessful actors. So I decided to check out his IMDB to see a list of his movies, and saw that he's listed to voice Megatron in the 2nd installment of the War for Cybertron. www.imdb.com/title/tt1823262/I doubt this is true. IMDB isn't the authority of such information. But if true, what are your thoughts? Personally, I really liked Fred Tatasciore's performance as Megatron, who else could play the angriest Decepticon ever? He does the Hulk too! And if Frank did play Megatron in the 2nd WFC, it would feel weird. A sudden voice change. That and his Megatron sounds so different now. That and I see Spike and Carly in the credits. Which makes me think this isn't true. Also new to the cast is Prowl and The Fallen. I would love to see Prowl in the 2nd one! And throw in Brawn and Sunstreaker too! And now that I think of it, the 2nd WFC is properly going to throw the Exodus book of out whack even further now. Heh!

Well. IMDB is the Wikipedia of actors and actresses, remember that. Sometimes the profiles are updated by the actual actor, while other times by random individuals.
I would not put it past Hasbro to push for Welker's return to voice Megatron for every Megatron they can, and so switching to Welker for WFC2 doesn't surprise me. I do really like Welker's Megatron in Transformers Prime, so I won't complain or miss the other actor if he goes the same route (will hate it if he does a more G1 version though).
The Humans are questionable to me, as I don't know how it can be WFC 2 and have humans, unless they simply are in the ending, as the video game could leave off at their awakening on Earth or something. Time will tell.

I had just learned that the other day listening to a podcast.
I can't wait for WFC2 though. Hope for a whole bunch more characters this time around. at least 5 or 6 bodies a piece for the different multiplayer classes (If not the true capability of customization. I'd like to choose the different style of chest, legs, arms and head and better color choices this time, even down to choosing the color of the lights running through their body.)

I had just learned that the other day listening to a podcast. Learned what? That IMDB is like Wikipedia or some WFC2 info? If the podcast was about WFC2, can you provide a link or something equivalent for that info? And I knew IMDB was like Wikipedia a long time ago...

No, about IMDB. I had just learned about it. I figured from your response you already had known, but I just learned of it last week. I wasn't trying to be a wise-arse or anything, I just don't think it is completely common knowledge to most people. Wasn't to me anyway.

I think the cast of the 2nd WFC will reflect what we got in Dark of the Moon, from the movie and the video game.

I don't know. I think High Moon (like the team behind TF:Prime, and the guy writing the novels) has a lot of sa in most of the content of the game. I'm just sure High moon managed to get Welker for their game this time around because he was back working with Hasbro again as Megatron.
Side note, I didn't realize how much Welker has been in. He is everywhere!

There's a lot of the same characters between the movies and WFC.
