I understand why some like to keep their toys MISB, but I've always set mine free, I like to post them and have them on display - until now. I received my Beast Machines Long Horn today and the packaging is in very good condition!
For the first time I fully understand it now. I'm torn, I want to get it out and put it on display but because it's Beast Machines and the packaging is in such great condition I almost don't want to! UGH! I'm considering using a knife and carefully getting it out as carefully as possible so as not to damage the packaging, but for the first time I have a figure I might want to keep mint and sealed in the box!
Open it. Being it isn't a figure that is in high demand, the value between opened and closed can't be a big difference. I've only kept one figure closed, and thats Beast Wars Tripredicus Agent, and that was because my original broke (in the same exact way my TM2 Cheetor broke) and so I figured better left in package.
Well I did open it in the end, but it's never been about money value and selling it on. I opened it very carefully to retain the packaging. I like the figure, it has faults, bad arms, hard to stad and the head never stays up, but I just liked the alt modes.
I won't get any more Beast Machines as they all look pretty dire, but I just liked this alt mode. And it's nice to be able to say I have something from that line.
I was almost tempted by Beast Machines Cheetor, then saw the robot mode on Goggle Images and decided not to. There's a Beast Wars Shadow Panthor but it's the price of a voyager right now at least.
Finally got a Sentinel Prime (Mr Chin) on the way, for a meagre £4.99. That was just because a kids show I watched in the 80's that's on DVD was on cheap after I bookmarked it a month & half ago, went to 70% sale, so had to get it.
Hoist: Hmm, I'm guessing nothing to do with Beast Wars or Armada, so either a sequel based in or around the first renegade rp trilogy or War For Cybertron? I'm guessing War For Cybertron!
