lol no resist and make your own opinion.
Ol' Brawn has disagreed with me over at the Moon so i guess its all a matter of taste as with any film.

[glow=blue,2,300]I agree. Very disappointing. I've already subjected HA to a critique of the film (well you did ask Aron!) so I'll keep it short.
I witheld judgement on 2 until I saw 3. They had an opportunity to answer the questions raised in the first two and yet also do a solid action / scifi film. They got the second bit right. Very few questions were answered. The level of acting ability was barely poking above sea level and plumbing the depths of risibility most of the time. The Oracle keeps on spouting on about actions and choices having consequences, but we don't get to see the ramifications and follow up to those consequences to the wider world.
Very disappointing. The Wachowski brothers, David Lynch and whats his name Carter of XFiles fame are obviously different personas of the same person: Always asking philosophical questions but never actually giving their own view on the answers.
Grumble over. Only 6 weeks till Return of the King. Yayyyyy![/glow]

I personally loved it. It retained the Matrix feel and ended the Trilogy in a unique way, not a Hollywood way, thank god.
The ending I thought was very shocking and irratating as you want to know what happenes next, but overall it was a amazing film.
My few critcisements, posted on the moon.
There wasn't enough of the story taking place within the Matrix itself. There was a fairly small amount of kung fu The final fight, shoudln't of taken to the air There was no Rage against the Machine at the end!

*sticks rant cap on* I have to agree with Perceptor up there. The film lacked in so many ares it is untrue. Whilst there were flashes of brilliance it was not enough to outweigh the rubbish. Tye first Matrix (which i dont like either) was a nice isloated story that could of and (in my opinion) should of been left alone. The 2nd and 3rd are too obsessed with the 'smart' story, ending up being completely self absorbed and preaching about everyhting and nothing. LIke Percy says no opinion on the film's raised observations are given and you end up with what comes across ( to me anyway) as 2 guys trying and failing to write an intelligfent action film. For me ultimately the matrix ruins the matrix. It cant blame shoddy acting, effects, fighting (although some of these contribute). It can only blame itself got trying to be something it blatantly isnt. As I said before if you like the other 2 (why is beyond me?) im sure youll like this but if you dont then it buries it completely and simply re-enforces what you already know. *takes rant cap off* EDIT: Nice middle fo the road praise/putdown review here (spoilers in it though): www.411mania.com/movies/reviews/article.php?reviews_id=2200Their conclusion says it very well i think.

as i have said to everyone i was disapointed with three.
I liked matrix 1 the best and it could of been left alone or continued. matrix 2 and 3 i think was allright but not ground breaking enough for me. not that there wern't some good scenes in 2 and 3. i just basically thought that 2 and 3 wern't as good as 1
out of all three my fav list goes 1, 2, then 3

oh i also forgot to post what i read yesterday in a mag were we stopped for fuel (it was me and my friends turn to pay, which kina sucked.)
i bought Empire Magazine which is a movie mag. in it a guy asks a question bout matrix reloded.
GHOSTS IN THE MACHINE Q. Ive just watched The Matrix Reloaded again (yes, i am a glutton for punishment) and it got me wondering: are there really werewolves and vampires in The Matrix like The Oracle says there are, and, if so, what in blazes are they doing there?
A. The Oracle tells Neo that all the stories he has heard about the supernatural are old programs that refuse to die, even when they are superseded - "its the system assimilating some program that's doing something it's not supposed to be doing."
The Merovingian and Persephone, then, are old-world vampires - The Brides of Dracula (1960) playing behind Persephone at the chateau when she kills the two gaurds is a bit of a clue - and the bodygaurds team include shrap suited werewolves (who can indeed be killed by silver bullets) and the twin dreadlocked, razor blade-wielding ghosts.
Cool huh? i didn't know bout the Merovingian and Persephone being vampires, the werewolves i knew, and the twins i thought were just a type of agent program that was held back for being faulty or something.
you learn something new every day

L7, I couldn't agree with you more on the "It was boring, better than Matrix 2 but not as good as 1." part. I keep telling everyone that and they don't belive me. I wanted to see Scary Movie 3...

[glow=blue,2,000]Finally saw it....and I must be stupid cause I didn't get the end! Didn't like the acting, 'Sir give me a chance!" and Trinity's death, lacked punch and she didn't go out blazing. And what happened to Neo? The action I liked but I was more interested in getting some answers and stuff on all the philosophy and stuff. But I think we missed something here.....Agent Smith kinda rocked.[/glow]

I read about the werewolf, Ghost and vampire thing to
But you guys have to kinda realise The Matrix came out of nowhere and basically shocked everyone, there was NO way Revolutions or Reloaded could match the Matrix as they had so much to live up to.

Spoiler Note
For people who did get ending, heres my take on it higlight the text to see it.
K from what i could tell the oracle let hersefl become absorbed by smith, or she knew it was gonna happen, and that was why she helped Neo in the end realise what he had to do.
Because the source or whatever that big programming head thingy neo was talking to, couldn't do anything bout Smith because "The Program Smith has grown beyond your control".
Neo had to let himself be absorbed like that other guy so as the Program Smith in Neo's body, still linked to matrix could be destroyed by the big head thingy.
still wasn't impressed with it, good action flick but not a good ending to series
