"Silence!" Hawk raised his hand and spoke in a quiet tone. He waved for all to stay low. His actions were soon justified as the sound of foot steps were heard in the distance. The voices of the Quintesson guards could be heard off in the distance, they were looking for the slaves. Orders could be heard and shouting over each other echoed down the tunnels. Hawk then signalled to the others to stay quiet and to follow him. "Follow me if you want to live. I know this path now, freedom is this way."
The group followed Hawk with no incident. They had to move quietly as all around them Alicons and Bailiffs combed the area in a mad search for the escaped slaves. Hawk kept his blade in his hand at all times, for their were times when the Quintesson's soldiers were only but a few feet away. Hawk instructed the slaves to remain hidden in the shadows as he did, keeping them away from harm.
Finally Hawk lead the slaves down a tunnel that ended with a closed door in front of them. "We are here. Wait here and be still."
Hawk walked up to the door and knocked on it three times, waited and then knocked three times again. The door slowly slide open -
- revealing nothing. Hawk walked through, hand on his blade again and slowly looked around. He then nodded to spoke to someone in whispers. He then came back through the door followed by a tall blue and purple robot. The new comer spoke. "What is this?"
"Slaves now free. They were to be put to death in the Sharkticon pit. However there rose a opportunity to save them."
"Save them only to have then die a different fate! This is not a rescue mission Hawk, you should have left them there." The new comer was angry as he looked over the group. "You risked your spark for these pathetic beings? We have much larger concerns then this. You have also brought more attention our way, our chances of escape are now worse!"
"The risk of freedom has always been great. You took that chance we me when it could have killed me. Now I have taken that chance as well." Countered Hawk.
"And who gives you that right?" Blasted the new comer. He then looked over the ragtag slaves before him. "But survived the Sharkticon you claim? Fine. You have fought for your freedom this far. Prove your worthy of the life Primus breath into you. Follow us and don't bring any attention to yourselves."
The new comer instructed Hawk to take the lead. As they made their way through the door, the new comer turned around revealing the old mark of a slave name on his shoulder. The characters 'A3' could just barely be made out in the dimly lit underground passage.
