What I don't like about JJ's Star Trek are the klingons. Apparently what we were shown in the last movie is what Klingons look like now. JJ's Star Trek has all the aliens bald.

be super careful on the internet someone has supposedly leaked the story and it sounds very plausible. I read it I really didn't want to but I did...

So what's everyone's favorite of the 6 films so far? For me it's Empire, but it wasn't always so. As a kid it was Jedi, despite the Ewoks, it was all the Darth/Luke scenes that made it for me especially following the revelation of the previous film. (My favorite moment is Darth seeking out Luke "Sister, so you have a twin sister..." and Lukes attack on Darth when he threatens that she might join the Dark Side.) As an adult I of course sought the films with new eyes and appreciated things I didn't notice or just didn't think about as a kid. (Such as William's music score.) As a kid I wasn't a fan of the ambiguous ending of Empire but as an adult - the capture of Han, Darth Vader's revaluation, Luke's training, Yoda I appreciated a lot more. A big part of me fell in love with that musical score at the end of Empire when Luke & Leia watch the fleet disperse. Han has been captured thanks to Fett (And in some ways Lando!), Lando and Chewbacca are off in the Falcon... Love that big swelling of the musical as the fleet disperses right before the end credit. Beautiful.

Lando and Chewbacca are off in the Falcon And for some reason Lando was wearing Han's clothes. My favourite is probably A New Hope. The first one I saw as a kid (so young I don't even remember how old I was when I saw it). Who here hasn't wanted to do the Death Star Trench Run?

yeah - that's what gave me goosebumps! Okay I need to watch it a third time...
So first things first - love the imagery with the star destroyer in the sand - i didn't even notice the decaying x-wing in the foreground either the first two times!, the music - oh the music!! Okay Han's a bit older it's to be expected, but Chewwy! Chewwy still looks like chewy and They must've kept that costume in good nick or reproduced it to a tee!

Yeah, watched that one a couple of times today. Really enjoyed the quiet understated beginning with hardly any sound. Hopefully this won't be a case of the trailer being better then the actual movie. Excited to be go see it this December, the Original trilogy has always been around in my house.

I've come across stuff by accident, sort of. So I don't really want to say anything.
The only thing I'll share that I thought up on my own and haven't come across anything to confirm it is that......... Han and Leia never got married. Or they did and got divorced. I only say this because in the books they got married.
And below, the ultimate version of the trailer!!

I'm avoiding any and ALL spoilers! I though this is a very popular opinion at the moment due to the lack of Luke: Luke is the bad guy! - prediction

So I've seen it! I came out with a bundle of emotions. Happy and sad. Ok so lets get to the Spoilers! Ok, so it did borrow story elements. Some what twisted and changed, still very similar in some regards. But I friction loved this movie!! It was so much fun. I'm so sad that Han Solo is dead but it makes sense to bring his story to an end. So sad how it happened too. Death from his own son's hand, or lightsaber actually. And I guess with an evil Solo like Jacen in the books, we can actually expect a few more idea borrowed. And I have to say that last sense with Luke and Rey gave me goose bumps. Luke just looked like a total bad ass!
Now who is Rey? I have read a lot online, theories and things the producers of the movies say, but I'm kind of leaning towards that she's a Skywalker, Luke daughter. Han seemed to know who she was but didn't react like she was his daughter, same for Leia. Luke's face was hard to make out, he didn't seem happy but more troubled. Also someone pointed out that it looked like Luke was standing next to a grave. Rey's mother? Of course she could be anyone and the movie could have misdirected the fans big time, but judging that Han and Leia didn't react to her as some long lost daughter and that Rey has some resemblance to Shmi Skywalker and Padmé Amidala, the similarities between her story in TFA and Luke's own, it possible then again this could mean nothing.
