Something new, even if you don't have a chance/interest/money, to read Transformer comics, here is an appreciation thread for all those fantastic and not so fantastic thread. Please remember linking is good but not hot-linking, try and use a host if possible. They don't have to be modern but here are some current ones to talk about: This one is actually kind of fun! I like the spool from one of soundwave's taped just hanging out and being used as a means to fight in the air. Love the seeker wings on the Joe's. To be honest I'm not a fan of this one but whilst it looks very child-like (Drawn by a child), it does however have a very 80's feel about it don't you think? Like the very early days of the comics. Still a nice cover. Simple, yet effective! I love the art here, it's the one with Superion and Windblade that inspired me to make this thread. Both with that one and Menasor + Prime - both convey a great sense of scale with regular sized Transformers and combiners. With the other one I LOVE the menace of the DJD (Decepticon Justice Division ) and the bodies! Despite the gimpy smiles/mouths I kind of like these as they're very clean and cartoon like but don't look dumbed down. Comments in the actual thread of these suggest the white is left for something like a logo perhaps. Share your thoughts on these and any others you like!
