I saw this a couple of hours ago as I'm subscribed to the channel, surprised that they think Bumblebee looks "better"! Glad they all liked the old Optimus though!

To be frank, Bumblebee does look better. My problem with movie Bee is not his design, but his character.
I thought it was interesting. The kid in the gray and red striped shirt was on the right track, lol. The kid in the blue shirt..... kid was not very bright.

Does he though? It's the age old junk hanging of their body look Vs bulky look originals. Although I don't think the original looks would necessarily work for the 2007+ movies, plus they were never G1 movies or going to be inclinations of those previous eras. Personally I think it was a bad promo image of bumblebee also.
The kid in the blue shirt - is that the comment about "He would never have a gun"? If it's I think that's a bit dismissive, most of them will only know the 2007 movies (Like alot of the current generation) and what's around now.

That's the kid, and my point is that Optimus Prime has a gun in every movie, 2007-AoE. Even if his frame of reference is AoE, he has a gun in most of the movie, and even points it at humans, threatening them. These kids frame of reference for Optimus Prime should be one that would definitely have a gun. Movie Optimus is far from the heroic cowboy persona the G1 character was.

Wow definitely feeling old now lol. It was a good video to watch though, the kids were great to listen to and 98% of them had some really intelligent responses. The kid that mentioned the producer basically wanting to make money, really hit the nail on the head. It very very rarely if at all is about pure nostalgia with the big wigs and is almost always about the mighty dollar. Anyway great video.

Despite what I previously said, I forgot to mention I do think they were on point about Megatron looking scarier these days, even if you consider TF Prime Megs in that too. If you were a kid now and looked back at the G1 Megs in the cartoon, no-one would blame them for thinking he was a bit cheesy!
Again that kid in the striped shiznitz in the bonus videp, *Sings theme "Everyone sings that song.."

You know, some of these kids gave some really intelligent responses and I'm pretty glad to see they seem to take a shine to the original. Now, as someone who didn't encounter the originals until in very recent years I had similar reactions and was at first uncertain about the 80s cartoon since I grew up on the Unicron Trilogy mostly, saw some of Animated, and the more recent Prime series. But thanks to a close friend of mine she got me into G1 and Beast Wars, bringing back those memories of missing the 90s cartoons such as the X-men: The Animated series, Spider-man, and a handful of others back when I was a kid in that time.
I have to agree about the kid in the blue shirt though, definitely didn't seem the brightest bulb in the box, but happens sometimes I suppose.
