Historically, some books have been banned or burned. Can a book be dangerous to society?

You could argue that books could be dangerous, but are they orcould you argue it's more dangerous intent by the reader? It's something that could also be applied to television shows, films and video games.

It depends on the information within the book, it's opinions, it's intentions, the times that we are living it and who it's for. While most media can deliver a message it really depends how that message, information and it's intent gets across. The internet has brought ppl together with the same ideology that they have in common with others but were never united with. Take the political landscape of America for the last few years as an example.
