Renegade Remenising...

[glow=red,2,000]When I started in to ep7 of the rpg, I wanted to go back to the craziness of the old days where me HA, Hoist and TB were running around on Cybertron like crazy.

It got me thinking of all the crazy stuff we did before we really knew each other.

First we were involved in a random thread battle on TF: Civil War then known as Battlezone (Hoist thought of the name!), I think I may have infact tackled Hoist by mistake in that fight. And of course HA was charging through with his renegade battle cry, which was just ummm, 'Renegades' at the time.

Then there was when the board we were on erased all its topics, so us and a few others stuck around and booted the board back up. At this time HA and Hoist were renegades.

To be honest, I would have went with the autobots at the time but I can't remember why I didn't, maybe cause there were none or something. Anyhow the bots and cons and us had our own private password protetced forums as our bases and we went a cause havok on the board.

The best part was that we'd let no one in our forum, except for TB since he was good friends with Hoist, and everyone wondered what was up! See, everyone got careless and let players in who lated turned on them and sold them out as a spy or something. Cool at first but it got out of hand.

But I think some of the best stuff was our random chatroom sessions! From battling to bars, I made some many friends that way, just handing out drinks and trading banter with others.

We also met Perceptor and Blaster there, and thats were Omega Magnus comes from. Percy was a autobot at the time, HE WAS AGAINST US! (heheh)

Later on, I decided we needed a website, well still working on it, hehe ummm, but what made he think that we needed one was Hoist's sigs and when HA told me he had a ton of characters all written up. We needed some where to put them. [/glow]

[glow=green,2,300]Very well, gather around the camp fire and the tale of woe...

I first met Hoist and L7 in The Hunt rpg at TF@TM whioch was also the debut of a third tier nobody character called Rainstorm. Since it was 'on the fly' Rainstorm rapidly took centre stage and became the villain of the story.

About the same time I was signing up for the Cons with Octopunch at Civil War (again Battlezeon at the time). Sadly this was on the tail end of the Gade's 'glory years' and was about the time Latyrx7 went off on his 'Latyrx Quest' so I never got to see the original 3 plus the mainstays like Trailbreaker and such in action.
Still even then the Gades were a force to be reckoned with least of all HA who kept it going despite the floundering lack of troops and support (from a Cons perspective).
I think the Gades end there culminated about the same time as when myself as Scorpnok (Decepticon leader by then cause no one else was fit for the job ) started IC refusing to distinguish between the factions of Autobot and Gades. I did this to try and nark off the few Gades that were left but deep down i think it was pretty true.

Long story short, the Gades came here en ma$$e and recruited more members than ever. Hoist directed me here and again I started playing in Episode 1 with a third tier nobody called Rainstorm ().
Man when will they ever learn heh heh heh

Even to this day I dont see myself as a true Gade despite playing a character or two in the factiopn, I'm more their nemesis. Im the guy who keeps L7 , Hoist and the rest on their toes[/glow]

I confess I can't remember what got Percy into the Gades. It wasn't when Hound was letting Mindwipe blackmail him with planetary genocide was it? IIRC I argued (logically) that the guilt would be on MW''s hands and that to give in to terrorism was to encourage it. Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong?

well my first was Kilatron a tank bot...HA had asked me to make one up and start RPG'ing here in Ep 6 and Kilatron became Frontlines brother..I think..but Kilatron died an untimely death... I miss him at the time I had no idea what RPG'ing was..I'm still kinda lost sometimes and I liked my little Renegade robot, Kilatron maybe one day I'll make a new character..

Things have changed alot.....I remember a time at CW when they were the strongest faction...Who would have thought it was so appealing to be a bad,goodbot......And to this day it still is.....

I get lost when it comes to who was first to join the Gades.....L7 or Hoist then Trailbreaker?Its been a long time......Thats why I say there is no true founder of the Gades.

But what I do remember is working on Percy!It took alot of effert to get him to jump ship.But I got him!!!!!I wanted him to be a Gade bigtime....He is a very talented player......Plus we need a logicbot in the Gade mix........

But the funniest thing was that we had the passwords to Bot/Con section.We was in the mix...No wait....We did the mixing!

[glow=white,2,300]I believe that Percy joined the Renegadez because the Autobots on CW were a bunch a squabbling misfits fit for nothing and the 'Gadez represented strength and purpose.

But I'm probably having bitter, twisted memories 'cos no-one liked my character there. [/glow]

I think we kept it real, with our own forum at CW we worked as a well oil machine, keeping to ourselves, working together, planning, despite some objections to us as a faction even though it was the then big old boss himself that allowed us to go for it.

So your not alone with being not being appreciatedi, we had our fare share of non-supporters, but that's all in the past now.

I remember when ppl would always ask what a Renegade is.....They would say we were just Cons.......Or they would say the idea was dumb.

To this day ppl wonder why we do the Gade thing....Even members at Evo question why I brought the Gades there......All I can say is,"Im a Gade!"[/glow]

Yes all these other guys are the rpg veterans as you can see Firebox, myself i didn't get involved until around i think halfway thru episode 2 or 3 was it?

Anyway i was the dreamwave board originaly and then found some rpgers there and went to another cool rpg board i'm a member of called TFRPG. From the "Uniter" (L7) apparently saw some potential in me and invited me over.

I started off with DW as a destructicon and then Aqualec came along for the ride. I was ok to begin with, but rpging with all these other people has helped me get better.

I don't think there has been and RPG Challenge, but there was that invasion thing btw TTF and TFRPG if anyone remembers.
