Back when I was in High School I took drama class. Well there was this play that we were doing called "The Vampire." From day one of rehersals and stage set up we had problems. Stage lights not working properly or things missing and showing up in different places or hearing things we couldn't explain. The night of the play it went off without any problems until after the play wa over. Everybody that was in the play or helping during the play stayed after to help clean up. When we got done we all stood out in the parking lot talking when one of the girls said that she left her car keys in the auditorium. I said that I would go get them which was a big mistake. Afetr she told me where they were I went back inside alone and went into the dark auditorium because I knew where they were without turning on ant lights. I had just gotten the keys and was about halfway back across the stage when one of the spotlights came on. So I yelled out who did that and got no answer as usual. So I hightailed it out of there with the spotlight on me the whole time. When I got back out to the parking lot I asked if anybody followed me back into the auditorium and everybody said no. So I told them what happened and we called the police and they searched the whole school and couldn't find anybody. To this day whenever I drive by my old school I get chills just thinking about it.

[glow=blue,2,000]So it couldn't have been someone inside who played a trick on you and then bolted on the place?
And Jinx, never be sorry for an input you put in your posts, to me it was very interesting and a nature progression of the thread.[/glow]

From where that spotlight was there was only one way to get out and that led outside and the people outside would've seen somebody run out. Besides if someone would've followed me in I would've heard him or her moving around because it was that quiet in the auditorium. All I heard was a click and the spotlight came on.

Like I said I would've heard someone moving around especially where the spotlight was.

hehehe.... I'm afraid that is very funny..... mind you.. I'd've peed my pants right there and then!
I personally think you were set up! It is possible you know... with the right props and a timer ... when I was in college, and L7 can attest to this... I didn't get to go to the auditions for drama... so I settled for technical theatre... I worked at the school, during production times, from 7:30am till 2 or 3 am and walked home by myself through the gulley to my house... I got spooked all the time and once discovered a group of blokes from my classes mucking about and scaring me to death... I got even ... trust me... with the correct props that I made myself in props class and a few wires here and there and 5 different timers
btw, thanks L7... I kind of thought so too ;D

If you knew the history of my High School you would scared out of your wits too. See about 30 years ago there was a girl that was killed by her boyfriend in the auditorium on the stage because he got jelous that she was talking to another guy. Ever since then there have been strange happenings in the auditorium like lights going out or strange noises even strange smells.

[glow=blue,2,300]Perhaps your auditorium just needs better light bulbs. Or better air filtration systems. Or less people breaking wind in it.
You need to separate cause and effect. Do the lights go out because of a supernatural spirit, or do people just pay more attention to things after a terrible tragedy.
And a word of advice Autobots Die, don't ever get me started on the hokum propagated in the States about Creationism. A better excuse for exiling the Pilgrim Fathers from the UK I have never heard![/glow]

[glow=blue,2,000]I don't know why AD didn't mention the murder until later. I've slept in a house where someone was killed by there spouse, infact I did live in a house where there were a person was killed now that I just remembered, my first place in T.O.[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]Having had a bit of an emotional overload yesterday (see the thread on my birthday) I thought that my post of yesterday wasn't really very tactful and may have caused offence, specifically to you Autobots Die.
Now that I'm feeling a bit more rational, I'd like to apologise for the stridency of the post. It was unnecessary and over the top. I hope you'll feel able to accept my apologies on this matter Autobots Die.[/glow]
