A crazed decpticon scientist initiated the cloning programme, an idea to create an army of millions, each one the perfect and ultimate killing machine designed for only one thing, destruction. Each warrior looked identical in the original stages and was trained to the upmost in fighting, tactics, firearms & weaponry, skills all used to kill their opponents and move onto the next one. Originally a batch of just four were created, zerozeroone as he was then called being one of them. All identical all having basic identification, zerozerotwo, zerozerothree and so on. One these drone warriors built like very basic decpticon warriors werre at the peak of they're training they began going on attacks with the Decpticons, and soon proved they're worth. Over many battles and campains they prooved so sucessful that, plans were made to make ans many as possible, thousands, thousands upon thosands, the ultimate clone army. Once production began more and more of these clones began appearing on the battlefield and giving the Autobots the worst losses they'd ever had. But the decpticons under-estimated the Autobots, for they two had plans.
A secret under-cover operative of theirs working undercover amongst the decpticons, learnt that the Decepticon empire was prepared to ship thousands of these clones out at a time to conquer new worlds, and so the Autobots set about of capturing one in the next battle to re-programme and use their own killing machine against them. When one of them was damaged on the next battlefield a top Autobot scientist (Now honoured by a monumentual statue in the Autobot hall of fame in New3 Iacon), risked his live on the battlefield to get to the injured mechanoid and recalibrated th reisisatnce rating making it impossible for the clone to move or transform.. With this done, phase two of the plan was put into action and a homing beacon placed on the clone, underneath the ground but not too far from the surface, wrecker Steelblade with his precision diamond tipped brills dug into the ground beneath him and dragged the body back to the Autobot base.
There they fixed him up but kept the clone sedated as they re-programmed it and fed it information on Cybertron, the war and many other stuff into it's positronic net. When they awoke the clone (With a whole guard of Autobots on standby, elite law enforcements and base defensises in case it got ugly, the clone had it's natural urge to kill but was overloaded with information. Never before had it had to think about the consequenses of it's actions as it accessed many thousands of streams of information, it stood confused by it's actions.
The Autobots then sent it out with them in the battle and smuggled it back via the way it had come onto the battlefield, with it's new mission. During this it made it convincing as possible to hurt the Autobots but actually pinpointed parts that could be repaired). So successful were these clonesa that thousands were sent to alien planets to conquer, but the decepticons didn't know the rogue bot was on board. The secret re-programmed clone, zeroseroone, made sure it was one of the ones to be on that mission. It made the others question what they were doing and why, to be more than the sum of they're programming. With the highly detailed instructions from the Autobot scientist is reprogrammed three others. The guards took no notice and didn't question the clone helping fine tune one of his commrades, after all it was the latest in advanced cloning with ultra-smart intelligence.. Zerozeroone handed the other three data-disks with it's downloaded information from his it's own neural net, everything it knew they would know. What seemed to the guards like resting was innocently dowloading the information into each's neural net.
And sure enough as they became self aware and killed the guards. vicious in fighting began on the transport as they tried to convince others what they were doing was wrong, as clone turned on Clone. The rogue bot gathered the three that were trying to stay low and escaped the warring transport on a shuttle. Even with their superior training they're was nothing they could of done amongst the thousands fighting amongst themselves. orto save them. If this was one way of defeating the enemy, then it was better thousands of mindless clones died than millions of Cybertronians back home one day. Escaping with zerozero-49, zerozero-eight-eighty-six and zerozerothree-thirty-five, They watched as the ship crashed and exploded on the planet below.
Rogue as he called himself, with his three comrades went to the planet's surface, only a few handfuls survived the crash, lingering between life and death. With his hit squad, Rogue and team finished them off, putting them out of their misery before returning home (with his 3 comrades) to Cybertron. WHat rogue didn't know was the Decpticons had put an incentive on board so that if anything went wrong the bombs hidden on the ship's hull would remote detonate, better to risk thousands and send out a new shipment that let them get into the hands of anyone else, especially with their technology.
When Rogue and his hitmen returned, the decepticons immediatly new something had happened, something bad. And despite high command opposition, their leader hit the remote detonator whilst they were in Cybertron's orbit. Rogue however, had anticipated if they went back they might not live and so with his comrades followed behind the ship at a distance in their alt modes, however the hit squad had other ideas. Secretly between them they flew ahead and rejoined the ship having united in agreement that it was no life to live, fighting, death,, destruction. As the ship got closer into Cybertron's orbit Rogue had rejoined them and tried to convincve them otherwise, even using force to move them if he had too. Convincing them that hey didn't have to go home, that they could go anywhere, at any place in time They left the ship. Rogue had just cleared the ship as the others left through the hatch and the remote detonator went off. As the debris mased in the mass explsion in space, littering Cybertron's orbit, Rogue gathered his mangled commrades bodies and returned to Atobot HQ. As far as the Decpticons were concerned they were dead, and it was better off they thought they were.. The sparks of the three comrades managed to be saved but Rogue himself had to have a new body, although he wasn't hurt, the Autobots couldn't afford to let the decpticons allow him to be seen in his old form, to know that one of their clones had survived the wreckage and been re-programmed, ergo uncovering the whole mission. Nor could they give the comrades full size transformer bodies, the operation was an extreme risk as it was if Rogue was damaged it was one thing, but if the other three were too, it would be costly and they wouldn't be able to repeat this mission again.
zerozero-49, zerozero-eight-eighty-six and zerozerothree-thirty-five, were enterd into a scheme to inhibit the bodies of minicons and targetmasters to powerup their ally and partner, Rogue. zerozero-49 was reassigned and given a new alt mode of a crimson helicopter, useful for powerlinking to rogue's arm and using the rotor's as a moving blade. He was now known as Crossfire. Zerozero-eight-eighty-six, Gunnar, was given the alt mode of a target master, able to transform into a double barreled chain-gun at Rogue's command whilst zerozerothree-thirty-five, as given the alt mode of a space stealth shuttle, able to powerlink to Rogue's back for extra speed in the air in bot mode, now simply known as hitman
Some Decepticons didn't all stay on their homeplanet, many left to conquer new worlds and start new civilisations of Transformers on other planets.. One such group were mechs known as the Legions, a highly train decepticon attack force led by their high commander, Megatron But their governing body overseeing this project was not the his commander, Shockwave, left to defend Cybetron, no, it was Commander Jhiaxus. He personally found them a planet high in energon and resourses to build a new empire should anything happen to him, and to seek out the reminiscents of the clone army to see if all of them had been destroyed on the planet, and following a defeat on Cybertron Megatron couldn't afoord not to. If he was to investigate the reminints of the clone army and the ones that were appaerently wiped out, he could look to get the clone project back on track, and return home and turn the war around to his advantage..
Despite being careful to make sure they weren't followed, Megatron and his team hadn't bargined on the Elite Autobot teamn known as Mechs, a higly skilled Autobot a$$asin team lead by the noble Optimus Prime, who tailed undeneath them in 3 cloaked scout vessels. As the vessels entered obrit of their new home, the Mechs took a different course and verred of to the southern hemisphere to establish their base camp. However they soon were picked up on the Legions scanners. But by the time the huge and hulking Legion vessal had turned, all they could do was send of ewarning shots, although Starscream, Skywarp and Thunderracker were dispatched in their alt jet modes to intecept, the Mech's scout vessels were too far ahead and managed to give the two Legions the slip.
The Mech's goals were clear, to find out and stop the Legions plans, whilst the Legions were similarly for planetry domination and expasion and the destruction of anyone that stood in their way whilst trying to revover the clones...
