File 1.2 Murder on the Iacon express

The Iacon Vice Station was located near the council chambers and had recently been rennovated. Apart from the huge underground hangar/mechanics area that housed the Vice Patrol vehicles and other machinery it was a massive tower many stories high.

Tron, Magnum,Sentry and Epyon walked into the upper offices from the lift heading to the Chief's office where they had been told to go.

The office looked busier than usual with many mechs taking calls and entering information into data terminals on crimes and such throughout the area.

Olyperex was at her desk outside Vice-6's office and saw the group approach.

"When isn't he? Magnum didn't do anythign to tick him off did he" Epyon said jokingly.

[glow=blue,2,300]TRRRRON! Get your's and those excuses for cops skidplates in here now![/glow] bellowed the chief from his office.

The Officers alked in to see Vice-6 standing over his desk with a comm pressed to his ear.


[glow=blue,2,300]Yes, im with them now. No dont worry Ill handle it[/glow] he finished and set the comm down in it's holder.
[glow=blue,2,300]I've had calls from the media network about manhandling, the transport authority about un necessary delay of schedules and poor police services and a dozen or so traffic complaiants about officers driving erratically![/glow] he shot a glance at Magnum with the last comment.
[glow=blue,2,300]At least tell me you got the killer...[/glow] he said sitting down in his chair and taking a sip of the four hour cold pep-oil on the desk.

"We lost track of the killer sir" Epyon replied knowing he would get blasted for saying it.

Vice sprayed a mouthful of pep-oil everywhere.

Get out all of you and don;t bother coming back withouyt that killer unless it's to turn your badges and blasters in![/glow] Vice bellowed throwing a data pad at Epyon that bounced off his chest to the floor.

Outside the office Olyperex handed Tron a read out.


[glow=white,2,300]Just called in, another body over at the shipping district. Called in by one of ours... an officer...[/glow] she stopped to read the name of fher copy of the report.
[glow=white,2,300]Back-Up! You'd better get down there asap[/glow]

[Aqualec]

"Lets get going gentlebots" Epyon explained as he began to make his way towards the lift.

(OCC:"Should epyon head up to roof so he can fly off?")

[glow=blue,2,000]"Just what the heck?! Olyperex, get anyone in our area on that now!"[/glow] Tron didn't bother with the rest, he started to run back the way he came.

[glow=white,2,300]I'll see what I can do Tron[/glow] Olymperex shouted after Tron who was already gone.
[glow=white,2,300].. and you still owe me that second date Magnum[/glow]

[Magnum Force]

[glow=red,2,300]er... gotta go, duty and all that![/glow] stammered Magnum as he hastily dashed after Tron.

Magnum and Tron boarded a waiting Vice Wagon with Sentry as Epyon took to the skies. It was past rush hour traffice so the going was good, especially with the sirens blaring that Magnum insisted he turn up to maximum volume.

Epyon was first at the scene in the shipping district, a part of old Iacon that had been integrated with the new city structure. It was run down and in desperate need of renovation but still served its purpose as the premier warehouse and storage area for Iacon's goods companies.
Of course may companies were fronts for alien smugglers, petty criminals and undoubtedly weapons caches for Decepticon or Renegade terrorists (if the news reports were to be believed). Sadly though the Vice Department was powerless to intervene without good reason.
A comm from HQ directed Epyon to an alley between two warehouses where several officers had already arrived in a V-Wagon.
Back-Up was standing besides a body as a junior officer took holo-pics of it. The corpse wa sin much the same condition as the previous one Epyon had seen, it's visible outer armour literally eaten away as if by some chemical or something leaving a gnarled and rough looking exo-skeleton underneath. Yet as with before there was no evidence of any chemical residue around the body if it were some kind of super-acid.

"Yeah and make sure you get some nice juic- just get plenty of close-ups. Epyon! Thank Primus you're here! We've got another one, same as lastime, acid all over the armour, completely eaten away.. I can't see any calling card..."

*Back-Up spoke with such enthusiasm, and so he should, he was glad to be on this big case. Having returned to Cybertron many vorns ago, a great many things had changed, including the Law. He'd heard reports of the Vice-Units and how they were taking over, some saw it as a blessing, others a curse and that it would mean less work for them.

He wasn't overally keen on the Vice units or having to work with/or in conjunction with them but he was still just glad he had a job and could do it well.

"Did the Victim have any items left with him. Briefcase with notes or anything?" Epyon asked curious to see if there would be a link between the two victims.

[Rainstorm & Squirtle]

The victim had a small data pad clutched in his hand but the screen was flashing with an encypted lock.

[Hoist]

"*back-up looked the body up and down when he notice the small object clutched tightly in the body's hand and looked around to see if any vice offers were looking..

With a quick crouch down he prized it out of the hand and re-stood in seconds and started flipping it up in the air in his closed fist like a credit*

"You mean something like this?..", he replied, flipping, "Seems to be flashing too, H-here you better check it Epoyn" he continued sunddenly nervous as he handed it over and started flapping his hands, "I I - wouldn't want to set it off or nothin'.."

"Thanks" Epyon said as he took the datapad.

He began to check the datapad out "It seems to have an encyption lock activated on it" he said after giving it a once over.
