*Nothing to do with the short-lived Earth-based toy/series.
*Part one of a possible 3 episode trilogy.
Episode #1: Doomsday
It is 400 years after the end of the Beast Machines wars, and the great sacrifice of Optimus Primal who threw himself and Megatron into oblivion to restore the balance of techno-organic back to Cybertron, two lives for millions of innocent sparks.
The news spread far and wide across the galaxy, reaching old audio receivers that should never have found out. On this day that the new Autobot leader, Omega Convoy, opens a new nucleon generator to help Cybertron's energy crisis and now the techno-organic side of Cybertron has died out. Meanwhile, the new Autobot council has sanctioned a size limit law to conserve energy, that all Transformers must not use to much energy of fuel or Cybertron will suffer the consequenses. The new Autobot generation, although, unhappy about it agree and take lighter forms, but with new forces of evil returning to Cybertron, they doubt very much the Decepticons will play ball.
Decepticons under commander Jhiaxus who had fled Cybertron after the first great war to start new Decepticon colonies across the galaxy have returned to wreck havoc on Cybertron.
On the day of the opening a freak accident occurs when the generator is switched causing massive outages across Cybertron. The Decepticons come out in force immediately wasting no time and launch an attack, but it proves to be a distraction as the real force of the Decepticons make their way into the heart of Cybertron. Determined to destroy their home-planet from the inside once and for all, they head underground to locate and try and destroy.. Vector Sigma.
The Autobots try to investigate but find Transformers good and bad dropping down into stasis lock in two areas of Cybertron, continuing outages and tremors are felt across Cybertron making the Transformers wonder if this is indeed the sign of very bad things to come? The Autobots realise they've been tricked and diverted, that the attack at the nucleon generator opening was one big distraction but why? And how do the Decepticons know they would be there? The Autobots try and track down the Decepticons on a wild goose chase, but what both factions find is far from Vector Sigma or anything they had imagined, a powerful force that threatens to destroy every living Autobot, Decepticon and Cybertron it's very self.
