Junior Lieutenant Mikhail Andreievich Volkov was on a desk in an office, where he was writing down a training report. A report on how the training for the new recruits into the Russian Airborne Forces was going.
He was part of the 76th Guards Airborne Division and had just overseen the new recruits jumping out of a plane, which he was now righting a report to his superior, the company commander. Then suddenly, the door knocked and Volkov said 'enter'. THe door opened and it was indeed, the Company Commander, who was a Major. Mikhail, seeing who he was, then jumped up, knocking the chair back and saluting him. The Company Commander saluted him back and said 'Comrade Lieutenant, you have that report ready yet'? Volkov said 'I was just finishing it, Comrade Major'. The Major then said 'Good. You can finish that later because we have a situation on our hands and this is from straight from the top'. Volkov thought to himself Oh dear.
The Junior Lieutenant said 'What is it, Comrade Major'? The Major soon said 'Well we had suffered communications breakdown with a distant village which is in Siberia. A helicopter was sent to investigate but it didn't return. We suspect terrorists and we want you to get your men together and be ready to go soon'. Mikhail said 'Understood, Comrade'.

Briefing Room
Soon everyone was now in the briefing room, where Junior Lieutenant Volkov's unit was soon sitting down, listening fully to their commander. Mikhail had briefed the unit that this village, which was in Siberia, had been cut off from communications. A helicopter was sent to investigate but it did not return, so the Russian Airborne would go in to investigate. After a few questions and answers, the unit got together weaponry, their gear and begin to go onto helicopters, to get over to the village.
