Quick question.....How does Blastmaster transform? Is it like Hot Rod's Targetmaster partner (Firebolt) where his legs fold up and he basically has guns coming out of his butt, or does he transform like Cyclonus's targetmaster partner (Nightstick) where he has a gun barrel on his back that flips into place?

Sorry I've not been active as of late.
I've returned to my normal shift hours at work IE finishing at 9pm and, now that I have more to do at work, its been leaving me exhausted when I get home.

Not to worry Hoist. I think all involved have become busy or gone on vacation or what have you. Myself included.
If the characters involved in the NO EXPLOSIONS thread can move towards Atlas main base aka the Tower, then I may have all continue in the Quantum of Science thread. After that thread is wrapped up, there should be at least one more before the ending.

In the Quantum of Science thread, the factory door that is now open is big enough to allow a Gestalt size Transformer to walk through it while standing at full height. So you guys can see it and everything thats outside quiet well. Roadtrain set Blastmaster on his shoulder and raised Old Painless. He took position between Incendius and Onix, giving them both a nod. D-Fib finished up work on Funcrusher and patted him on the chest. "You're good to go, just don't over-do it." She smiled. She stood and took up position between Hypershot and Driveby. Roadtrain waiting until everyone was in position. "Alright, keep it tight. I don't want anyone getting separated from the group. Watch each other's backs and we'll make it through this. And stay calm. Let's get this done. Renegades! Move out!"With that, he turned to face Atlas's tower and set off. Nice post BB. Made it easy for me to end that thread. Ok, to the NO EXPLOSIVE crew, your approaching the tower. Still lots of OCF troops to deal with. Lots of explosions and combat still going on so this ain't no walk in the park. Lets not arrive at the Tower just yet, give it some time still.

Shouldn't we be trying to capture Atlas?

I have a couple of questions. How many weapon emplacements are there on the wall around the tower? And do they have overlapping fields of fire? Also, how much aerial support do we have?

The heavy weapon stations are about 30 to 40 apart from each other. These aren't heavy canons, think more along the way of soldier with a M-50 heavy machine gun or like in Return of the Jedi, when one of Jabba's goons brought out that heavy blaster and used it on the smaller skiffs where Luke and the others were. Remember there rapid fire and powerful, but not Megatron fusion canon powerful.
So yes, there are over lapping fields of fire. And much of it comes from random OCF troops who are spread across the wall. As for an exact number, kinda hard to say as I can't say what the radius of the wall is. But you can spot a gun port about every 30 to 40 feet along the wall.
Renegade air support. Lets just say they are tied up with the OCF air support. But that doesn't mean you can't give orders or ask for further support. But asking for more reinforcements will be hard as the static storm is still going on.

OOC: What else is around the outside of the wall for cover? I imagine it's like a well armed Great Wall of China and all the towers inside and everything else.[/quote] I think due to my lack of presence, I'll allow players to imagine up what they wish to take cover behind, so long as it isn't unbreak steel. But to answer your question and to give you a rough idea of whats around, basically on the outside of the wall are a lot of public structures. Shops, stores, service branches. Then small things such as video station for the Cybertron network feeds, small stations that provide maps and wayfinding devices for those looking for a building. Basically, its a fair clean area as far as a sci-fi planet such as Cybertron would look I suppose. A lot of the structures have been torn apart by OCF firepower, so think along the lines of some WWII ruins for cover.
