"Yeah, I noticed. Could have been an attack. Maybe a massive execution, though that wouldn't make sense to bury them and give them tomb stones. Something big happened, and I'd imagine something bad."

Grunt's three clicks went unanswered. He started to think of the possibilities and a lot of them was leaning towards something bad. But he was familiar with Reaper and his training, special ops agents can take care of themselves. He didn't know Torret well but knew he wasn't reckless. But regardless, he was worried and almost wished he went with them as back up.
Turning his attention to Glitch. 'All the same day? Its only make sense that the ones who buried them were their friends. If thats right, where are they?'
Grunt walked up close to the monolith for the first time. He looked at the outline of the door like shape with the glowing edges, and placed his hand on it. He gave it a strong push to test it's weight and to see how sturdy it was.

At first nothing happened, but Grunt's simple push then must of activated something. Slowly the great door shape, made of exactly the same material of the rest of it, started to move back with a rough grinding stone noise. The door way moved right back in on itself within the obelisk, once inside it slid to one side..
A great warmth from inside the obelisk flooded out, from their position outside the door they could see the start of some great bony legs, propped up by supports. Whatever it was in there, was huge..

OOC: Jackpot!!
Grunt jumped back and armed himself. He held his fire as he just stared at the open doorway and the huge thing inside. Then he exclaimed. 'Do I have to do everything around here myself? Someone scan the damn thing!'

"Of all the things and it was a simple as a push....."
Dinoboss peered into the obelisk
"I'll take point to check this out. Got my back Grunt?"
Dinobobss didn't really wait for a reply, he cautiously began into the Obelisk.

'Aye. But get your damn scanners on full!' Putting aside all differences, Grunt was in full professional mode now. After whipsering his response to Dinoboss, he guested to Matalingus to stay put and waved Glitch in closer.

Dinoboss slowly entered into the Obelisk. He held the scanner in his hand. Once inside he looked up at the thing as his scanners went to work.

Glitch, still in wolf mode, approached the obliesk and Followed Grunt and Dinoboss in. In front of them stood the huge skeleton of some beast that towered above them in the most menacing pose....

Dinoboss lowered his scanner
"Bones? It's just bones. It's structure seems to be close to the creature's bones I scanned for my beast mode, but quite a bit bigger. Parhaps of the same family of creature?
Dinoboss transformed back to beast mode. his internal warning was going off and he could afford to stay in robot mode no longer.
"Still, the reading are strange. How do bones give off such a reading from outside of the structure?"

'Radiation? Or maybe there's something else in here that's close by, giving off those weird readings?' Grunt began to look around, like something that could be covered up or something that didn't belong. He even touched the walls and rubbed his hand against it, to see if something would rub off.
He then turned to Dinoboss. 'You think those energy readings are at all dangerous enough to hurt someone if they touched the bones?'

Dinoboss would have shrugged but his beast mode really didn't have shoulders. Instead he simply tilted his head a little bit
"I don't know. I'm a security officer not a scientist. I wouldn't go touching anything strange or unusual just for safeties sake."

As Grunt had turned away, the walls behind him began to glow an eeriely yellow-orange and began to pulsate. Slowly all the walls began to light up around the inside of the obliesk, pulsing with the same glow..
"I don't like the looks of this!", snarled Glitch, "I say we get out of here and go find the others!"

Grunt spun around and was shocked by the activity of the walls. He did a quick check of his hand, the one that touched the wall, then got back into his defensive position as he backed out through the entrance. 'Full reverse bots, full reverse."

Dinoboss looked around at the pulsating walls.
"The obelisk is the energy source. I should get a scan. Energon dampeners haven't had time to recharge. I'll risk it."
Dinoboss transformed and pulled out his scanner and started to collect data. He ignored Grunt, and while he was cautious didn't see any imediate danger. He was ready to get out of there if things got hairier.
