Episode 2 - Instruments of Construction

[Onix Solo]

Hot Shot half nodded

Hot Shot: "Well, I'm here mostly to get Beachcomber situated with his new stingers. Flamethrowers don't really need target practice. It is basically point in the general direction and ignite."

Beachcomber walked over to Wildfire and stuck his hand out to great her only to have his hand transform into his stingers. Hot Shot quickly pushed his wrist down so his stinger pointed to the ground

Beachcomber: "Oops! I thought I had that figured out dude."

[WildFire]

WildFire shook her head. "Its alright, you'll get the hang of them."

[Onix Solo]

Hot Shot: "Okay, lets get you acquainted with those stingers. Step up to the white square on the floor."

Beachcomber walked over to the square on the ground right in front of a counter like barrier. Hot Shot hit a button and down the range a bust of Megatron popped up on a spring. It bounced around for a second then settled.

Hot Shot: "Take you're best shot."

Beachcomber stuck his arm out and winced back before a single shot came out of his stinger. It veered wide, 10 feet off its mark and hit the blast proof wall at the end of the range.

Tapout rubbed his neck

Tapout: "I agree, but I want us to do a lot of preparation and research before we set this plan in motion. For now we are in pre-operation stage until I give the go ahead. You need to work out an airtight story for Counter-Punch."

Scrapper walked out into the main part of the warehouse where Dirtboss and Mixmaster were waiting.

Scrapper: "So, uh, Boss, what exactly is the plan? How does this help us take the city for ourselves?"

Dirtboss: "Think about it, with this we have more power than the Autobots. This time they can't stop us. Now, our first target is the cities fuel depot. It will give us the energy to take the rest of this dump from the ungrateful humans. Now transform and get moving"

The three Decepticons transformed and left the warehouse.

[Hoist]

Tracks watched with interest, mildly resisting the urge to pull his own blaster out when the bust of Megatron popped up. He remembered the Decepticon leader was big enough and bad enough in reality, let alone a cardboard cut-out. It had been Eons since they had last engaged each other however, back on Cybertron, and since then both sides had travelled off to a far distant planet gaining new modes and new abilities.

Now more than anything, Megatron would be ten times worse.

[Bomblast]

Punch smiled.

"I've actually had dealings with some Decepticons as Counter-Punch before. Never with Megatron himself, but I'm sure he's heard of Counter-Punch before. I've done alot of work for them, made quite a name for myself. Well, Counter-Punch."

[Onix Solo]

Hot Shot walked over to Beachcomber

Hot Shot: "Relax, the stinger's aren't going to hurt you. Do this, rest the wrist of your are with the stinger out in the other hand."

Hot Shot put his left hand under his right wrist and pointed it out, showing Beachcomber

Hot Shot: "You should get less recoil, more stability. Take a shot"

Beachcomber did as Hot Shot showed him and fired another shot. The shot hit the bust on the shoulder and it sprang back and forth

Beachcomber: "Ha, I did it!"

Hot Shot: "Yeah, now we just need to work on your aim."

Back in the control room a light on one of the consoles started blinking. Ratchet walked up to it and pressed a button. On screen a news report popped up. From a helicopter the report gave the story.

Reporter: "Smoke rises up from Detroit's main fuel depot. Eye witness report are sketchy, but they say they saw Transformers enter the depot. From what we can see, the smoke is from burning vehicles in the fuel depot. As of right now the fuel tanks do not appear compromised. This is the first sighting of Transformers since the events that occurred only a week ago."

Ratchet turned it off and turned to Tapout

Ratchet: "Looks like we may have found some Decepticons, now which ones?

Tapout: "Does it matter? They all are bad. Lets scramble the team. Arcee, stay behind here and keep us informed. Ratchet, Punch, lets get the others."

Tapout walked out of the control room, followed by Ratchet and Punch. They headed straight for the range. When they arrived they saw Beachcomber taking a couple shots at the bust, missing about every other shot.

Tapout: "We got 'Con activity, everyone ready to head out?"

[Bomblast]

"What's the plan? Want me to make first contact and infiltrate their ranks?" Punch asked.

[WildFire]

"Locked and Loaded, "WildFire said, "Just point me in the right

direction."

[Onix Solo]

Hot Shot and Beachcomber walked up to Tapout and stood ready

Ratchet: "A fuel depot isn't Megatron's usual em-oh."

Tapout: "Agreed. For now Punch, lets just get an Idea of who it is we are dealing with. We will get you in with the 'Cons soon enough. If everyone's set, transform and rollout. We don't have time to waste."

Tapout transformed and exited out of one of the large warehouse-like doors, followed by Hot Shot, Beachcomber and ratchet.

[Bomblast]

Punch transformed into his muscle car mode and revved his engine loudly.

"I love this planet!" He laughed.

With a loud screech and a lot of tyre smoke, Punch tore out of the warehouse, following Tapout.

[WildFire]

WildFire jumped up and transformed into her jet mode. "Time to

fly!" She thought as flew forward and followed the others.

[Hoist]

"Your not the only one Punch!", replied and transformed into his alt mode, "But you still ain't as sleek and smooth as looking as me! And I bet you 100 cubes of Energon you can't beat me!"

Tracks caught up with punch before screeching off in a collection of wheel-spin and smoke from his tires and an expulsion of black smoke from his new exhaust.

[Onix Solo]

Hot Shot saw Tracks speeding up behind him

Hot Shot: "How about you try out someone of your own level."

Hot Shot broke from Tapout and Ratchet and screeched into gear, speeding off

Ratchet: "Blasted young-bots. There are traffic laws. I best have Arcee contact Cpt. Fanzone and have the highway cleared for us to pass through."

Ratchet contacted Arcee and it wasn't long that she got back with him with the all clear

Ratchet: "The Highway leads right by the fuel depot. It has been closed down so we should be able to make good time heading to it."

Tapout: "Good, you heard him 'Bots, make for the highway then for the fuel depot at top speed. Fall into line until we get to the highway. I don't want you spookin' the humans. Wildfire, you are free to head to the fuel depot for aerial recon."

Ratchets sped up and turned his sirens on and Tapout fell in behind him. Beachcomber stuck behind Tapout until they passed Hot Shot, letting Hot Shot in behind Tapout.

[WildFire]

"Copy that." She said as she rocketed forward towards the fuel depot.

[Onix Solo]

The others followed Ratchet to the highway where the police moved out of the way and let them through.

Tapout: "Top speed to the fuel depot"

Ratchet sped up to his full speed as did Tapout. Hot Shot went around them and sped off infront of them. Beachcomber stayed behind Tapout and Ratchet.

Wildfire flew over the fuel depot. Black smoke bellowed up from burning cars making visibility tough.
