Roadtrain smiled and looked at Pointblank.
"Who exactly is going to kill you? Give us a name and we can protect you."
Roadtrain looked at the three of them.
"Blastmaster, you've been the most co-operative so far, care to add anything?"

Pointblank erupted. 'I swear, I was gonna kill you before, but if you dare speak anymore!'
Atlas cut Pointblank off and calmly replied. 'Don't be difficult Pointblank. Yes go on Blastmaster, let them know all that they want to know.'
The small Targetmaster, looking uncomfortable, began to say. 'Well, technically, Atlas is operating on his own agenda. He hasn't exactly had the blessings from the Union to carry out his plan.'
Pointblank was now visibly uncomfortable, the fire in his optics seem to die down. He looked even more defeated now, even more so then when he was beaten by Roadtrain in to crumpled metal.

Hardstrike hadn't answered Roadtrain, although his mind was on the job - his thoughts now turned to poor Incognito. Dark thoughts entered his mind about what he wanted to do to Atlas and Pointblank, but at the same time he was intrigued about this floating Omega City and The Union. Crossing his arms as he listened, he tried to repress the dark thoughts...

Phasmatis snarled as he saw guards running around the corner. He took a potshot at them with the shotgun he was holding, before dropping it and breaking into a run. As he came past a warning light, he exhaled with exasperation, before seeing a covered air vent next to it. With a mirthless smile, he pulled his concealed handgun, which sensors had failed to pick up, from the outside of his leg, and with ultimate precision, shot out each of the four screws holding it in place. As the vent cover clattered to the floor, he re-holstered the pistol, sprinted at the wall, and managed to run a good five feet up the wall. He reached up, grabbed the inside of the opening he had just made, and hauled himself inside the small tunnel. Adjusting to the pitch black vent, his optics lit up, bathing it in an eerie red glow. As he got his bearings, Phasmatis started to crawl... ~~~ Incendius looked up at Roadtrain's hand on his shoulder. He got the message, and playing along, he brushed of the hand heavily, standing up and folding his arms. His eyebrows furrowed as he heard Blastmaster's garbled story about a 'Union', and laughed as Onix asked what it was. "Seems you can't see the mechs for the secret societies, ey, Onix? Feel free to be as cynical as you like about this one too, my friend, soon as we've found out what it's about." He paused for a second. "Well, Blastmaster? What're you waiting for? Answer the mech!"

Phasmatis was deep inside the vent and had turned a corner by the time he voices echoing from behind him. More guards and the order for the smaller Autobots to transform and go after him.
The escaping prisoner then came to a sudden drop. He had no where else to go but down.
*******
Blastmaster didn't know what to do. 'The Union, their big. There every where but no one knows anything about them as they have dealings main off of Cybertron. I only know them because thats where me and Pointblank came from.'
'He means thats how they came to be in my service.' Cut in Atlas. 'What Megatron was to the gladiators, unappreciated miners and criminals of Cybertron millions of years ago, they are to Cybertron now. An organized force.'

Phasmatis rolled his eyes as he realised the only way he could proceed was downwards. Peeking down into the area below, he could see come kind of dock, filled with small troop dropships. A guard was directly below him and the opening. Phasmatis contemplated the situation. "Hmm... I could make it to Cybertron under my own power. However, with all the Renegades that are down there, and those rather dangerous looking prisoners, I'll need to conserve my energy- and I'll need to get there fast. Nothing for it- I need to steal one of those dropships." Looking down again, he cursed when he saw that the Renegade was still there. Activating one of his 'ghost blades', he moved forwards slightly, and allowed gravity to tip him over the edge, falling straight on top of the gaurd... ~~~ Incendius' optics furrowed. There was something in that sentence... had he imagined it? Then again, it couldn't hurt to check. He raised a palm to Atlas, an indication to stop talking. "No no no... Blastmaster said that was where they 'came' from. You're saying that's where you recruited him. So which is it? Answer quick now- I'm not a fan of being left in the dark."

Atlas seemed to be enjoying himself. 'Haven't you ever wondered how bounty hunter's find work? How freelance mercenries find employment with armies or small wars? Its a network. But the Union is more then that, it's a force that is unstoppable due to it's sheer number of liked minded individuals.'
'Yeah, just wait until they get a load of you and learn that you were out on your own agenda here.'
******
Silently, Phasmatis took out the guard quietly. He spied a ship not to far away that he could easily take for himself.

Hypershot thought it better to just listen for now as he was finding it the whole thing dull. He stood with his arms folded behind his head.
He sniggered at Pointblanks remark. "A Union of organized bots and looks like Atlas is the rebel"

"So the Union is a large Cabal of some sort yes? They must have a upper Hierarchy or some sort. Have you met anyone involved at all, or was this a strictly non-face to face dealing?" Metalingus asked. For the moment he had kept quiet taking everything in.

Unicron's Head.
Phasmatis rushed into the small shuttle. With no one on board, he looked over the controls and saw that the shuttle had enough fuel to take him to Cybertron. He activated the engines of the ship and his internal tracking systems.
He looked out at the hanger and noticed that most of the hanger's doors were covered with energized force shields, except one. A large cargo ship had been coming in to the massive base when the alarms went off and the shield was down.
Phasmatis quick started the shuttle and took off across the hanger bay and out through the doors, while the large cargo ship was still half way through the opening.
Alerted to the escape, Latyrx7 watched the shuttle take off from his command hub as the reports of the escape came in. One of his control officer asked if he wanted the shuttle blasted out of the air. 'Negative. Get me a course vector on where he's going and track him.'
'Commander, it appears he's headed to Omega city.'
'Alert the Renegade teams on Cybertron that Phasmatis in coming to them.'
'Unable to commander. The storm that the Renegade reported to have been generated by Atlas' forces hasn't cleared yet, it has been making communications almost completely impossible for the past mega-cycle.'
Latyrx7 ordered a pursuit of the shuttle. Now he could only look up at the screen as the escaping shuttle got smaller on it's way to Omega city and prayed that his troops weren't too tired to deal with this new menace.
*********
Atlas looked out the window of his office for a second and watched as the storm that his tower created was at it's peak. Then, looking around, as if he was thinking about the next thing to say, he surveyed his once beautiful command hub. He then faced the Renegade and addressed Metalingus' question with a changed tone. 'Well I believe that is enough. You'll have to figure the rest out on your own, that should keep you busy.'
Tomboy didn't like this mind game Atlas was playing.'Hold it you bucket of bolts. You think you can mess around with us and just tell want you want to give up, think again. Were Renegades, not Autobots. You'll see that we'll get what we want.'
'You hear that Blastmaster? I won't say no more and you can tell Pointblank doesn't want to talk. If you decide that certain information is too much, do you think your new friends will stop interrogating you?'
Computic decided to send Roadtrain a Internal communication suggesting that separating the three prisoners would be beneficial as Atlas was manipulating the interrogation. *IC* 'Computic to Roadtrain, perhaps it would be better if...*IC*
Computic never finished his transmission as two throwing stars ripped into his steel skin from behind. He cried out in pain as he staggered forward and fell to the floor.
Behind him, a wall had opened up, revealing a secret door and connecting passage way. However, no one could be seen.

"I've had enough of this nonsense about Unions!", chipped in Hardstrike, "I say we..." The Renegade never finished his sentence as Computric suddenly slumped forward with a pained expression on his face. "Computric!", cried the bot and catched his comrade in his arms, seeing the steel stars embedded in his back.
"Everyone get down or take cover! Fan out!!", gasped the bot angrily and flipped Computric over in his arms so he was facing upawards at Hardstrike, "Computric? C'mon talk to be pail, Don't you die on us too!"

Incendius shuddered, as though the temperature had just dropped. He listened intently to Atlas and his 'bots. Talk of this network and it's influence was begging it scare him- if it was half as influential as Atlas was saying it- He jumped as Computic fell forwards and Hardstrike caught him- from his angle, he hadn't seen the stars. His optics whipped round to the entrance in the wall that had just opened, and instinctively, he raised an arm blaster and fired three shots down the tunnel. "Someone get after that shooter!" He then crossed to Hardstrike, and looked down at Comptuic in his arms. Despite their recent antagonisation, he still couldn't help but see a bot who he'd trained, fought and almost died(ish) with. He still felt like the accomplished data manager and warrior needed his help. He looked over at Hardstrike, another bot who he'd once considered a friend, and spoke to him as colleagues talk: respectful and serious. "What happened? Dammit... where's D-Fib when you need her?"

The training of the battle worn Renegade made them react to the new threat. Though low on energy, they were willing to fight.
Tomboy and Metalignus were the first ones that went into the opening after Incendius had fired inside. Within seconds Tomboy and Metalingus disappeared into the darkness.
Then with a thud, a laser blast, Metalingus was sent out from the door. He fell to the floor with a huge gash across his chest. But no sign of Tomboy.
Then out from the darkness, Tomboy, with fuel running down from her mouth, and a arm around her neck, came out with Neuroblade, Atlas' bodyguard, thought to have been killed in the battle, held her as a shield.
He spoke to the Renegades. 'Renegades! You are an honorable foe. However, I can not permit you the same Honor as you hold my master captive. But I shall grant you the chance to surrender my master to me. Be wise Renegades. I can see you are all tired and in need of energon. Don't be foolish, you will lose to me in your current condition if you chose to fight me.'

Onix held his rifle steadily at Nueroblade and Tomboy
"We can't let these guys go Roadtrain! They are to valuable and they still have info we need. We out gun him, there is no way he'd make it out of our crossfire!"
