The Vice Program (RPG sub history)

The Vice program was concieved by Vice-3 and Vector Primus following the a$$ualt by the Dewstructicons over a year ago. Vice-3 a supposedly long serving cop put forward some ideas that the Emirate refined for the Autobots needs.
The initial concept was for an army of drone police officers that would be under Vice-3's control and indirectly the Emirates. After further consideration the poor political correctness and impersonal anture opf drones led them down a different path. Volunteer Autobots had their bodies reformatted to a standard Vice-unit template www.noneedforwebsite.com/squirtle/viceproto6.jpg that was designed after Vice-3's own law enforcement form. Each unit relinquishes their former identity and is given a deisgnation number based on when they were inaugurated into the Vice force.
Standard Vice effects are a medium blaster, energon baton, riot shield, cuffs and ID holo badge.

While the reconstruction of Iacon continued Vector had their head quarters established in the centre of the city affectionately known as the V-HQ.

It has many offices and cells for criminals in its tower block as well as a sophisicated comms centre and data storage facility. Beneath ground level are several lots of Vice Wagons, large ground based transports for squads of Vice units, as well as several sky transports for out of city affairs.

Additonally to the Iacon force there are smaller postings in other cities in the process of redevelopment. These two are equipped with transports and an HQ although on a lesser scale. The idea is to increase the efficiency and independence of these once other areas are redeveloped.

A Vice-unit's authority is absolute, each one is loaded with detailed knowledge of Vector Primus's updated Cybertronian code of conduct and laws. They will act on the spot as the situation requires it to aprehend or deal with law breakers, reports are then filed at the V-HQ that Vice-3 and/or Vector Primus can review at leisure.

Vice-3 is answerable to Vector Primus in his use of the Vice-units on Cybertron as well as serving as second in command of Autobot troops as the Emirate sees fit of him.

Following the disastrous times that have recently afflicted New Iacon vector Primus has called for the re-organisation of the Vice force to make them more effective.

Vice-4 (the next evolution of Vice-3) still commands the force as Vector Primus’ second in command.
The Vice units have been ordered to shed their numerical designation and now re-use their original names before reformatting. When on duty they are simply Vice Officers.
Vice-4 obviously retains his numerical designation, as it is his name.

A typical Vice-squad consists of five officers, often transported in a V-wagon. When on standard patrol Vice Officers generally work in twos and cover the city in their alternate hover car mode, only calling for squad back up when necessary.

The V-HQ remains the same but many clerical duties have been pa$$ed on tot public sector Autobots to free up the Officers for actual work.

An Officer’s powers have been significantly increased. Now they can arrest under their own initiative with little or no evidence other than suspicion. Whilst this has called some uproar in the council Vice-4 has insisted that in these dark times of subterfuge and spies there is no alternative.

The Omega Sentinels still remain under the direct control of the V-HQ. The remaining ones have been repaired since the outer district confrontation and now set pilots are trained in their use rather than letting any Officer pilot these machines of ma$$ destruction.
An Omega Sentinel pilot team consists of two Officers, one pilot who has direct access to movement and weapons. The secondary co-pilot can also field the weapons array as well as access all other sub controls for the Sentinel such as the coolants tanks, fusion reactor, scanners and much more.
The Omega Sentinels are stationed underground at several key points across New Iacon, the biggest of them which houses the majority of them is in the plaza outside the V-HQ itself.
