Here's the example I spoke of: Name: Brawn Size: Basic Side: Autobot Quote: Might over microchips! Brawn was actually quite a cool character in the shows, and his toy was, for the time, kinda neat. The only problem is that they didn't match very well (mostly the show's fault for not being toy-accurate). This version I write of now would change that, and provide a few neat things. Vehicle mode: Brawn's vehicle mode would pretty much be the same as his old one: a jeep-style vehicle. He'd look exactly the same as his G1 vehicle form, save for the use of translucent black plastic for his window. The other change could be a Powerlink point on the tire on his roof. This Powerlink point would be the variety that would allow a Mini-Con to attach to him. Detailing abroad to be found: armor plating held together by details that look like rivers, X-hatching on some areas and a lot of scratches on some of the plates which indicate the enemy fire he charges through every day. Also, some silver paint apps, which resemble paint wear on the vehicle would look incredible. Transformation could be the exact same as the G1 toy, but with alterations as you see fit. However, you'd really do well to read the part that is to follow. Robot mode: Brawn's robot mode will be covered from head to toe, as it can be better described that way. Head: Brawn's head would be the exact shape of his toy form, but have the show form's face. Because of the way the head looks, it is only able to turn, not look up since it won't be on a ball joint. The face has detailing that resembles the detailing he had on his show-form face, but also a lot of scratches that show this guy's been in many, many battles. His face could be molded in a pretty grim expression, as he's a warrior. On each side of his head, there will be small tabs that look like vents. Sliding both these tabs toward Brawn's face lets a faceplate appear and peg together in front of Brawn'' face. The faceplate is exactly like Brawn'' toy form face, except it uses translucent black plastic for the visor. Brawn'' normal eyes would be metallic flake sky blue. Arms: Brawn's shoulders would look like the shoulders on his show dorm and would e ball-jointed. Additionally, the doors on his shoulders have a ball joint as well, so it can be moved in such a manner that it won't obstruct the arms. The sockets, ehich would be on Brawn's shoulders, can turn as well, giving the doors even more poseability. His elbows would be standard hinges and his wrists can turn. He has hands, like in the show, but he has a VERY pronounced wrist guards, the type that covers the entire top of his hands. The wrist guards end in translucent sky blue knuckle spikes to better enact his powerful physical attacks. His hands will have 5mm holes, like the ones from Energon, to let him switch weaponry. Brawn himself comes with a pretty standard-looking, pistol-style blaster. Upper body: Brawn's upper body would look exactly like the one found on his G1 toy form, with, of course, the exception of more detailing. There is an Autobot Spark crystal in his chest, about the same size as the old Beast Wars spark crystals. The roof of the vehicle mode is attached to the back of Brawn's robot mode, allowing him to have waist articulation. The Powerlink point can be used in this form, as it's still well in reach, and Mini-Cons like Jolt and Thunderwing, who have their Powerlink slots in the middle of their body, would fit better there. Lower body and legs: Brawn's lower body would be pretty standard. It would follow the show design for the most part, except for the feet. The feet would be rather large, to give Brawn a better base to stand on, and it could be comprised of the vehicle mode's front side (the spot where the headlights and such are). Lower body articulation amounts to ball-jointed hips, hinged knees and ball-jointed ankles. If you followed these steps accordingly, I'm pretty sure this new Brawn would appeal to both older and newer fans: The new fans get a cool new Autobot to enjoy, and the older fans finally get a more reasonable Brawn toy to appear, one which both resembles the G1 toy and show versions.

It all sounds good, i especially like the idea of a powerlink in the tyre on his roof, good use of location there. I was going to say i couldn't really see the use of translusent black for the visor working at first but imagining brawn's toon/comic face i can now after a little thought, goos idea with the sliding tabs.

Name: Windcharger Size: Basic Side: Autobot Quote: Catch me if you can!
Windcharger suffered from the same problems Brawn did: conflicting show/toy looks. This new Windcharger mold suggestion should solve that.
Vehicle mode: Windcharger’s vehicle mode is still his standard red sports car. It looks exactly the same as normal G1 style, but has detailing on it that resembles not only battle damage (scratches and such) but is a little shinier as well, due to metallic-flake red being used. Not only that, he uses translucent black plastic for the windows. He has two powerlink points on his front wheels, one per wheel.
Transformation could be the exact same as the G1 toy, but with alterations as you see fit. However, you'd really do well to read the part that is to follow.
Robot mode: Windcharger's robot mode will be covered from head to toe, as it can be better described that way.
Head: Windcharger’s head would be the same shape as his show self, with the same face too. Detailing is identical to the show face, and the eyes would be metallic flake sky blue. Windcharger also has two tabs on the sides of his helmet. These tabs resemble smaller plates and have an unpainted Autobot symbol on them. Slide them to make a facemask appear in front of Windcharger’s face. This mask looks exactly like his G1 toy-form face, and uses translucent black for the visor. His head is on a ball joint, allowing it to lok up and down as well as to the sides.
Arms: Windcharger has standard ball-jointed shoulders, hinge elbows and movable wrists. His arms are also choc-full of mechanical detaiing, as any good bot is supposed to have. Also, on his wrists are translucent sky blue markings that look like the letters P and N. These resemble his control over magnetic energies, as his arms are supposed to act like the poles of a magnet. His fists have 5mm holes in them so he can use other weapons. The Powerlink points end up on his shoulders for better use.
Upper body: Not much to say about Windcharger’s upper body, save for the facts that he’d have waist articulation, there’d be loads of mechanical detailing there as well as the detailing he already had, and an Autobot spark crystal makes its entrance smack dab in the center of his chest.
Lower body and legs: Again, not a whole lot to say here. Windcharger’s lower body would be the same as his G1 toy-form’s, save for better articulation and more mechanical detailing. He has ball-jointed hips and bendable knees, but no ankle articulation as he has no ankles: his feet are formed by the rear halves of his vehicle mode, which gives him a sturdy base to stand on.
Like with Brawn, I can predict that using this new suggestion for a Windcharger mold would make a lot of old and new fans happy.

[glow=blue,2,000]These are awsome! I have a picture of Brawn and Windcharger in my head now.
I think Brawn is perfect. I'm not a big fan of battle damaged on toys but of course this fits Brawn and who he is, rough and rugged. I just wouldn't go crazy on his face, maybe a chipped chin or something but nothing crazy.
Oh yeah, and Obsidian told me on MSN that the size of these guys are Energon basic, so for me and my tastes there perfect.
Windcharger is great, I like the letters on them, P and N. I'd do with less battle damage then Brawn being that Windcharger is the fastest Earth crashed Autobot out of the bunch.
The face plates are a nice touch, like the way the DW is drawing them. I'd buy these toys for sure.
The only other thing I could suggest is some attachments from the show. Like Brawn had a steel cutter that popped out of his hand and a drill that popped out of his... ummm.. head. And WC had a magnetic device come from his hand. It be cool to have, maybe not realistic but still a cool thing to throw in like 2oth edition Prime and his energon axe.
Good work buddy, I want to se Cliffjumper next! Then Warpath![/glow]

Name: Cliffjumper Size: Basic Side: Autobot Quote: Strike First, strike fast, strike hard.
Ah yes, Cliffjumper. So far he hasn't made that many appearances, yes? This new mold would change all that. G1-style appearance and Energon-style articulation.
Vehicle mode: Cliffy's vehicle mode would be, you guessed it, a little red car. He would use flat red plastic instead of Windcharger's metallic flake red, and be a little darker in shade. He still wears the Autobot symbol on his roof, and has Powerlink points on all four wheels. His windows are translucent black plastic. Not much else to comment on, other then opening doors.
Transformation could be the exact same as the G1 toy, but with alterations as you see fit. However, you'd really do well to read the part that is to follow.
Robot mode: Cliffjumper's robot mode will be covered from head to toe, as it can be better described that way.
Head: Cliffjumper's head is the exact same shape as his show/toy head/ It is on a ball joint and can look in all directions. His eyes are metallic flake sky blue. Unlike the other Minibots, Cliffjumper has no faceplate to hide, because his show face matched his toy face.
Arms: Cliffy's arms are the exact same in appearance as his G1 arms, except for the improved poseability. Both wheels are on his arms, two on his shoulders and two on his wrists. From there, its almost trivial to use the Powerlink points. Cliff's hands have 5mm holes in them to be able to carry other Energon weapons. He comes with a small pistol.
Upper body: Cliff's upper body ain't much to write home about either. Waist articulation is present, and he has an Autobot spark crystal on his chest. Pretty simple.
Lower body and legs: Again, not a lot to write home about. Standard lower body with ball-jointed hips, hinge knees and ball-jointed ankles. Cliffjumper's feet are huge, giving the impression of him wearing huge shoes. They are long enough to be able to slide the legs in during transformation, and give him a very stable base to stand on in robot mode.
Aside from the huge feet, Cliffy would be rather neat, methinks.

Name: Bludgeon Size: Super (Super pretender shell and Basic robot) Side: Decepticon Quote: Your fighting skills are nothing but kid's stuff!
Ah, yes. The Pretenders. While the concept was neat, they....well.....failed. I find this to be a big waste, and decided to redo the Pretenders. Bludgeon here is the first I decided to redo.
Vehicle mode: Bludgeon is still his little green tank self in vehicle mode. He will, of course, display the usual rivet-plated detail, X-hatched areas and even some paint apps that resemble paint wear. (after all, it's not like a tank's paint job survives a battle most of the time!) His cannon is a flat silver instead of purple this time around though, and is pegged into the underside of the turret, which is removable. )the reason for this wil be revealed.) He sports two Powerlink points on the top of his turret.
Transformation: Extend the back of the tank, unpeg the two halves and flip out the feet and heel spurs to form the robot legs. Remove the turret, unpeg the cannon and set both pieces aside for now. Flip down the flippable panel on the front of the tank to reveal the robot head and form the robot chest. Peg the panel into place, then extend the shoulders. Insert the cannon into Bludgeon's hand, attach the turret to Bludgeon's lower arm and voilla!
Robot mode: Bludgeon's robot mode will be covered from head to toe, as it can be better described that way.
Head: Bludgeon's head is on a ball joint, so it can look up, down or whatever way one would want him to look. The head itself is an exact replica of the G1 Bludgeon head, which means he has a visor which look like large sungla$$es and a faceplate.
Arms: Bludgeon's shoulders are standard balljoint-in-shoulderpads type joints, like those found on Cruellock. In this case, the shoulder pads are formed from the front of Bludgeon's treads. This version of Bludgy has actual hands, which can hold the cannon he has. The cannon uses the same handle the Star Saber does. The tank turret can peg onto either of Bludgeon's lower arms to act as a shield. The Powerlink points on the turret/shield are still useable.
Upper body: Bludgeon's upper body is mostly formed by the chest panel. It sports some detailing which looks like the chest armor on his Pretender shell, There is a Decepticon Spark crystal on this panel as well. Due to the turret no longer being on his back, Bludgeon is allowed waist swiveling.
Lower body and legs: Bludgeon's lower body and legs also follow the G1 approach. His lower legs are formed by the tank's rear halves, and give him good stability. This is improved by the flip-out feet and heel spurs. The feet sare shaped like sandaled feet, also like his Pretender Shell. He has ball-jointed hips, hinge knees and ball-jointed ankles.
Pretender Shell insertion: Basically revert Bludgeon back to vehicle mode, but do not attach the turret. Next, open the Pretender Shell's large chest panel and insert Bludgeon with the roof facing away from you, then close the panel back up again and attach the turret, cannon and all, to one of the Pretender shell's shoulder pads.
Pretender Shell: NOW we're talkin'! Bludgy's Pretender Shell is about the size of Supreme Cheetor, but bulkier and less awkward to balance. The overall appearance of the shell is the exact same as the G1 shell, but his face sports a cruel, skeletal grin instead of the neutral expression his G1 shell did. Bludgeon's shell carries a large katana, which uses the usual Star Saber handle (but is too large for the inner robot to wield) and a smaller katana, which is about the right size for the inner robot. Poseability amounts to: Ball-jointed head, ball-joint-in-shoulderpads shoulders, hinge elbows, swivel wrists, ball-jointed hips, hinge knees and ball-jointed ankles.
I can already see the Bludgeon fans drooling over this new version. If this would ever be released, I'm sure it would make a lot of fans very happy.

I'll be doing the Cyberjet 7-pack and the Versus sets soo, so keep checking here for further developments! Name: Fortress Maximus Size: Supreme Side: Autobot Quote: (none) Here we go. The BIG guy himself. I will be revising him. Nuff said. ;D For referrence, he uses the Brave Max colour scheme, simply because it's superior over the other two. Vehicle mode: Fort Max doesn't really HAVE a vehicle mode, but a base mode. It looks EXACTLY the same as his RiD/G1 counterpart, and has the same functionality. Transformation could be the exact same as the G1 toy, but with alterations as you see fit. However, you'd really do well to read the part that is to follow. Robot mode: Fort Max's robot mode will be covered from head to toe, as it can be better described that way. Head: Fort Max's head, which is formed by Cerebros, looks exactly like his G1 head. Since it is now attached to a swiveling base, it can look left and right. Arms: Fort Max's arms sport the same detailing as they did in G1/RiD, but now have ball-joint-in-shoulderpads joints, hinge elbows and swivel wrists. Also unique are his hands. EACH finger can move in the EXACT way a human's finger can move. Also, his hands are a little larger now, allowing him to grab and hold a variety of objects, from a pencil to a Deluxe-sized Transformer if they're spindly enough. (a good example for this is Transmetal Terrorsaur.) He still has the flip-out cannons in his hands, but there are no cannons there. Instead, the cannons are replaced by a single Powerlink point for obvious reasons. He also has Powerlink points on his shoulderpads (1 each) and his lower arms (3 each). Upper body: Fort Max's upper body is the exact same model as his G1 counterpart, only with the addition of an exceptionally large Autobot Spark Crystal. Added poseability here is a waist swivel. The hip cannons still flip out and are still useable. Lower body and legs: Again, similar to the G1 bot. Ball-jointed hips, hine knees and ball-jointed ankles here. The foot guns are still useable, and the flip-out cannon is replaced with a flip-out Powerlink platform. Name: Cerebros Size: Basic Side: Autobot Quote: (none) Transformation from head to robot could be the exact same as the G1 toy, but with alterations as you see fit. However, you'd really do well to read the part that is to follow. Robot mode: Cerebros' robot mode will also be covered from head to toe, as it can be better described that way. Head: Exactly the same as the original Cerebros', only on a swiveling base for looking left and right. Arms: Not inspiring. Balljoint-in-shoulderpads shoulder articulation and hunge elbows. Cerebros comes with a long rifle. Upper body: Again, the exact same. However, instead of stats wheels, the flip-down panel on Cerebros' chest hides an Autobot Spark crystal. He has a swivelable waist. Lower body and legs: Again, nothing special. Ball-jointed hips, hinge knees and ball-jointed ankles.

Introducing the Decepticon Spychangers! Will be posting their Autobot enemies next. These guys form versus sets with the Autobot Spyhangers in this order: Hot Shot Vs. Skystalker, R.E.V Vs. Hyperdrive, W.A.R.S Vs. Detour, Crosswise Vs. Blackjack, Ironhide Vs. Greasepit and Mirage Vs. Road Hugger.
Name: The Decepticon Spychangers (Skystalker, Blackjack, Detour, Hyperdrive, Road Hugger and Greasepit) Size: Basic (all six of them are Basics, but sold at Deluxe price point due to the Autobot Spychangers they are packaged with) Side: Decepticon Quote: We will crush you beneath the soles of our wheels!
The Spychangers were a neat concept and actually looked cool, but they featured rather pathetic articulation. When I thought about redoing them, I figured I'd give them enemies to fight. I decided to use a few obscure Decepticon Micromasters as said enemies.
Vehicle mode: The Decepticon Spychangers still remain loyal to their original vehicle modes: everyone is a car.....except for Greasepit, who is a monster truck. (yes, he is still a basic) Their colours also remain consistant, with everyone but Skystalker and Greasepit having alternate colours. For example: Hyperdrive's vehicle mode is blue, Detour's is yellow, Blackjack's is black, Road Hugger's purple, Skystalker' is orange while Greasepit's is white.
Transformation: All follow roughly the same approach: Flip the rear of the vehicle mode and flip out the feet hidden in these halves, then peg the panels the feet are attached to into place to form the robot mode legs, flip the car hood to reveal the robot mode head, expand the shoulders and open the car doors, so they aren't up against the arms. (they clip into position) Greaspit is again the deviant: flip the vehicle mode front down to form the legs, open the chest, pull out the robot mode head, expand the shoulders, close the chest and flip out the rear wheel bases the same way you did with the doors on the others.
Robot mode: The Decepticon Spychanger robot modes will be covered from head to toe, as they can be better described that way.
Head: All Spychangers have ball-jointed heads, and these guys have the same heads as their G1 Micromaster counterparts, but with a few diffrences in expression. Skystalker sports a rather cruel smirk, Road Hugger looks like he's leering, Hyperdrive remains in a neutral expression, Greasepit has gritted teeth, Detour also sports a smirk and Blackjack looks like he's scowling.
Arms: All Spychangers have about similar arms: ball-jointed shoulders with the doors hanging off them as large shoulderpads as seen in the RiD cartoon, ball-jointed elbows and ball-jointed wrists. Nothing special to say here, only that Greasepit carries to big whoppin' wheels on his shoulders. Fortunately, they're light enough to not let him keel over when posed. All Decepticon Spychangers have 5mm peg holes in their fists, so they can hold their weaponry. Skystalker gets a pair of pistols, Hyperdrive gets a shotgun-ish rifle, Detour gets a machine gun-ish rifle, Greasepit gets a large, rocket-launcher-style cannon, Blackjack gets a shorter machinegun-style rifle and Road Hugger gets a drum-fed machine gun-style cannon.
Upper body: All Spychangers have waist swivels, but the Deceticons get the unique chests, since they don't have the 'car hood on chest' thing going. Each of the Decepticon Spychangers remains loyal to the original design, including chest design. They all sport a Spark Crystal in the center of their chests, though.
Lower body and legs: Here's where the change kicks in. Since the Decepticon Spychangers have the 'fold rear of car down to form legs' thing going, or a variety thereof in Greasepit's case, their legs look diffrent. (there's flip-out feet, though) Poseability amounts to: ball-jointed hips, knees and ankles. Again, Greasepit has huge horkin' wheels on his legs. The flip-out feet are all diffrent: Hyperdrive's feet look like armor boots, Detour's feet look like stylized bird heads, Blackjack's feet look like designer shoes, Road Hugger's feet look like stylized wolf heads, Skystalker's feet look like space boots and Greasepit's feet look like hiking boots.
In all, I suppose the Decepticon Spychangers are worthy adversaries to their Autobot counterparts........and Greasepit's a Monster truck. That's GOT to count for SOMETHING, right?

Introducing the Autobot Spychangers! Will be posting the Spychanger Vehicle Combiners next. These guys form versus sets with the Decepticon Spyhangers in this order: Hot Shot Vs. Skystalker, R.E.V Vs. Hyperdrive, W.A.R.S Vs. Detour, Crosswise Vs. Blackjack, Ironhide Vs. Grasepit and Mirage Vs. Road Hugger.
Name: The Autobot Spychangers (Hot Shot, R.E.V, W.A.R.S, Crosswise, Ironhide and Mirage) Size: Basic (all six of them are Basics, but sold at Deluxe price point due to the Decepticon Spychangers they are packaged with) Side: Autobot Quote: Spychanger Size brings the element of surprise. Let us demonstrate!
The Spychangers were a neat concept and actually looked cool, but they featured rather pathetic articulation. I regretted this, and decided to rework them, using their RiD paintjobs and names.
Vehicle mode: Two words can describe these guys: Exactly. Similar. They look exactly the same as their smaller RiD counterparts...........just a bit bigger.
Transformation: All follow roughly the same approach: Slide out the rear of the vehicle to reveal the upper legs(the part connecting the hip joint to the knee joint), unpeg the two halves, flip out the feet and peg the panels the feet are attached to down to the rest of the lower legs to form the legs, widen the shoulders and flip out the doors, which clip in place as slanted shoulderpads like they did on the RiD cartoon and fold down the hood to form the chest. Nothing fancy, but if it works, it works.
Robot mode: The Autobot Spychanger robot modes will be covered from head to toe, as they can be better described that way.
Head: Again, they are exactly the same, and their heads are ball-jointed. Hot Shot still has his light piping eyes.
Arms: All Spychangers have about similar arms: ball-jointed shoulders with the doors hanging off them as large shoulderpads as seen in the RiD cartoon, ball-jointed elbows and ball-jointed wrists. Nothing special to say here, really. 5mm peg holes in fists present, as are each Spychanger's signature rifle/cannon.
Upper body: All Spychangers have waist swivels, but the Autobot ones vary a bit, as they have the 'car hood on chest' thing going. All have flip-open hoods, but there is no engine inside. Instead, there is alot of complicated-looking machinery and their Spark Crystals.
Lower body and legs: The Autobot Spychangers do not have the 'fold back of car down to form legs' thing going, so their legs tend to be more machinery when anything else. They have ball-jointed hips, knees and ankles. Their feet are shaped diffrently varying each Spychanger. Hot Shot's feet look like sandaled feet, like Bludgeon's do, R.E.V's feet look like padded boots, W.A.R.S' feet resemble stylized cat heads, Crossise's feet are little more then translucent blue wire-frames in the shape of feet, Ironhide's feet are stylized bull heads and Mirage's feet look like the front of his vehicle mode.
In all, I suppose the Autobot Spychangers are worthy adversaries to their Decepticon counterparts........and Crosswise's almost entirely translucent. That's GOT to count for SOMETHING, right?

Doing the Autobot Vehicle Combiners next.
Name: Decepticon Vehicle Combiners (Nightracer and Dropshot) Size: Mega (Basic robot with armor that turns them into a Mega robot) Side: Decepticon Quote: Nightracer: I rule supreme! Do not cross me! Dropshot: Ashes to ashes and rust to rust, Autobot.
The Vehicle Combiners are not two robots who frm a vehicle together, but they're like Fire Convoy: They have additional armor which turns them into a larger robot. These suits of armor take the shape of vehicles. Dropshot gets a tank, while Nightracer hets a helicopter.
Vehicle mode: Dropshot is the same vehicle mode he was back in his Micromaster days: a dark blue APC with a double-barreled cannon on top. Nightracer gets a new body: in this mode, she is a Ninja motorcycle, kind of like Road Rocket/RiD Sideways was. Her colours, of course, differ from Sideways'. She is silver where Sideways was black, and very dark blue where Sideways was yellow. She has a blizzard pattern on her vehicle mode front.
Transformation: Dropshot's transformation remains the same, except the cannon is removable and can be placed in his hands. For Nightracer, do this: pull out the vehicle mode back, separate the halves and extend the flippable panels and heel spurs to form her legs, remove both wheels and the wheel bases they are on to form Nightracer's two buzzsaw weapons, twist her waist around and fold down the vehicle mode's front, revealing Nightracer's head. Next, open two panels on her chest armor (vehicle mode front), pull up the shoulders and reveal the robot mode arms, then close the panels again. Nightracer is now in robot mode.
Robot mode: Nightracer and Dropshot's robot mode will be covered from head to toe, as they can be better described that way.
Head: Dropshot's head is exactly the same as it was on his earlier version, and Nightracer's head resembles a stylized panther head. The face is humanoid, while the panther aspects are more common in the 'helmet' area. Also, her vehicle mode windscreen is in front of her face like an aiming visor, but it's far enough to be able to pose her head without scraping against it. Both their heads are ball-jointed.
Arms: Dropshot is again the same, so let's discuss Nightracer. Her arms are the 'lower part' of her vehicle mode, so they resemble armor of some kind, almost as if Nightracer is wearing a lot of armor. Her hands aren't like Arcee's, and she has actual fists. Both have 5mm peg holes for holding the standardized weapons. Dropshot has a cannon, and Nightracer has a pair of buzzsaws formed from her motorcycle mode wheels. Both have ball-jointed arms, elbows and wrists.
Upper body: Dropshot is, again, exactly the same, but has a Spark Crystal on his chest. Nightracer's chest is, as I said earlier, her vehicle mode front, meaning that the neato blizzard pattern is on her chest, clearly visible. To acess her Spark Crustal, flip up the huge chest armor. Both she and Dropshot have swivel waists.
Lower body and legs: Dropshot is, yet again, exactly the same. The diffrence is that he has feet, which are shaped like the front of his vehicle mode. Nightracer's feet are formed from her vehicle mode saddle and rear parts, again giving the impression of heavy armor. Heel spurs help keep her stable. Both have ball-jointed hips, knees and ankles.
Larger vehicles: Dropshot's vehicle takes the shape of a large tank. It is vaguely shaped like G1 Blitzwing's tank mode, and has a swivel turret, and the main barrel launches a missile the same way Armada Megatron's main gun does. Nightracer's helicopter vehicle looks like Micromaster Tracer's vehicle mode, a black Apache-ish helicopter. The rotor blades are on a swivel for spinning, and a cannon on the front launches a missile, just like Dropshot's vehicle.
Combination: Simple. Disa$$emble the vehicles, then peg the parts which become the feet to Nightracer's and Dropshot's feet. With Nightracer, attach the chest piece formed from the cockpit to her chest. The bike mode front piece should clip into the inside of the cockpit securely. Attach the rotor a$$embly to her back and attach the Super Robot mode shoulderpads to her shoulders, and said robot's lower arms to Nightracer's arms. With Dropshot, just attach the pieces to form the large robot in the same manner. The turret is placed on Dropshot's back.
Super Robot mode: The Super Robot modes are impressive sights to behold. They change appearances completely. Dropshot looks kinda like G1 Blitzwing in armored mode, but features the same articulation he did when non-armored. The armor's hands have peg holes which will still allow him to use his double-barreled cannon. Nightracer's super robot mode looks like a diffrent Decepticon. Due to all the helicopter bits, she almost looks like Tracer, a Micromaster who used to be on the same team as Dropshot. She too has all the articulation of her non-armored form, and still has 5mm peg holes to hold her two buzzsaws.
These guys are the new Fire Convoys for the Decepticons. (there'll be no Ultra Magnusses for them, though.)

Doing the Super Spychangers Big Daddy(Autobot) and Topgear(Decepticon) next.
Name: Autobot Vehicle Combiners (Flat-Out and Magnus) Size: Mega (Basic robot with armor that turns them into a Mega robot) Side: Autobot Quote: Flat-Out: Eat my dust! Magnus: No road too rough, no foe too tough.
The Vehicle Combiners are not two robots who frm a vehicle together, but they're like Fire Convoy: They have additional armor which turns them into a larger robot. These suits of armor take the shape of vehicles. Flat-Out gets a larger car, and Magnus gets a car carrier trailer.
Vehicle mode: Flat-Out's vehicle mode is, like his vehicle mode in the Armada Linkage cartoon, a yellow sports car. This is not the Hot Shot Yellow fans has received with the aforementioned bot, but rather a much darker shade.......to use a TF referrence, he is G1 Landmine Yellow. He still looks the same, though. Magnus, on the other hand, is now a truck cab. (his trailer will be covered in the Vehicles section) He is mainly white and blue, with parts from diffrent Magnusses worked into the design. He has the blocky front of G1 Magnus, but RiD Magnus' fender. He shares Armada Prime's rear section. On said section is a hitch, which can be used for towing his trailer.
Transformation: For Flat-Out, slide the front of the car out, slide out the fender pieces and flip them forward, then flip out the heel spurs to form the robot legs. Then, twist the waist around, pull out the roof-windows of the car and pull them to the sides to form the arms, move the car doors to the back of the robot and flip down the car's back to form the robot chest and reveal the head. For Magnus, pull out the rear of the cab (the part with the hitch on it) and flip out the robot feet. Then flip the entire front section of the cab so that the grille faces forward, pull out the robot arms from behind the cab, flip out the fists, flip open a panel on the top of the cab, flip up the robot head and push the grille back, so it locks into place.
Robot mode: Magnus' and Flat-Out's robot mode will be covered from head to toe, as they can be better described that way.
Head: Magnus' robot mode head is a throwback to G1. Instead of the more stylized heads, he uses a white G1 Op Prime head, like the first Ultra Magnus did. Flat-Out has the same head he did in Linkage, though. Both have ball-jointed heads.
Arms: Magnus' arms are formed from most of the back of the truck cab, so it's expected that they have some bulk to them. In this case, the arms look like RiD Magnus' huge forearms, while having G1 Magnus' shoulders. Flat-Out is still the same looks-wise. Both feature ball-jointed shoulders (ball-joint-in-shoulderpads for Magnus), hinge elbows and ball-jointed wrists. 5mm peg holes present. Flat-Out comes with a large cannon, while Magnus comes with a replica of the Blue Bolt weapon he wielded in RiD.
Upper body: Not much to say about Flat-Out, so let's discuss Magnus. Most of Magnus' chest is formed from his vehicle mode front. The windows are on his chest, and the grille is right above the waist. To acess his Spark Crystal, flip down the large panel formed by his upper chest (the windows part). For Flat-Out, one merely needs to flip up a panel on his huge chestplate. Both feature swivel waists.
Lower body and legs: Not much to comment about for Flat-Out. Magnus, though, uses the same system Supercon Prime did for the lower body........he just has better legs. (IE: no annoying bits to get in the way of moving the legs forward.) Standard ball-jointed lower body articulation is present here.
Larger vehicles: Flat-Out's vehicle is a large sports car, like he is himself. The vehicle is a very dark golden colour. The gimmick here is not being able to fire a missile: rather, the roof opens and Flat-Out can ride the vehicle when he doesn't want to drive by himself. Magnus' 'vehicle' is the car carrier trailer he lugs around. The trailer looks like the back end of RiD Magnus. Two gimmicks. One is being able to carry up to four Basics, the second is that it can mount the Blue Bolt on its roof.
Combination: Simple. Disa$$emble the vehicles, then peg the parts which become the feet to Flat-Out's feet. Attach the roof and back part of the car to Flat-Out's chest and clip the two-part wheel assemblies onto the shoulders and arms. Magnus' larger robot works diffrently, however. The whole trailer recombines into a large suit of armor with a large opening in the chest. Magnus can sit in this opening and control the whole thing.
Super Robot mode: The Super Robot modes are impressive sights to behold. They change appearances completely. Flat-Out now looks more like a diffrent Linkage Mini-Con: he now resembles Kingbolt, who shared molds with Armada Prowl. He looks like Prowl only in form, not in colour. Also, he doesn't have the huge headgear, since he doesn't have wheels on the sides of his head. Magnus' riding armor looks formidable. It resembles the RiD Magnus legs, but has the G1 Magnus torso. The gray plates which carry cars hide the armor's arms in vehicle mode, and combine into a set of wings for this mode. Both bots retain all the poseability/weapons use of their former forms.
In all, I say they're good buys if you're looking for neat Basics/opponents to figh the Decepticon Vehicle Combiners.
