I have a fear of spiders too...an unbelievable, rediculous fear of spiders. Maybe I should consider that hypnotism stuff. My mother always tells me it works. She tries to do that hypnotize yourself to be more successful stuff...and right now she's laying in bed with a broken leg and we're completely broke.

Well I'm back!
Was an interesting day climaxing in my actually holding a Mexican Red Kneed Spider (thats pretty much a tanatula to you and me) not once but on TWO occaisions!
Also caught a huge house spider twice and released it a short distance later.
Wasnt quite ready to touch the house spiders yet as they are a different kettle of fish to the tarantulas. Some of the peeps there were though.
I was bloody amazed I managed to get in tge Bug House more than anything lol.
If it hasnt cured me (which they say is unlikely) it has certaianly alieveated mny fears and I reckon I can deal with them at home now!
Have a photo of me holding the big spider ill try and scan in.

[glow=blue,2,000]I'm.... I'm beside myself. So you pick up one big old hairy spider and not fear was felt? I mean, I'm not afraid of spiders but I do get freaked out by the plump ones and anything bigger. [/glow]

Try having a tarantula crawl up you leg and see if you don't freek out. I can handle spiders to a certain point but when they crawl up you leg and there about the size of your hand then you will freek out.

So you want to be hypnotized so you don't run around acting crazy. If only it were that easy then almost everybody on here would be jumping at that.
