"And I can't trust him one percent. As long as he is the puppet, he is guilty of the sins of the puppeterre. How are we to be sure that Phasmatis isn't pulling the strings right now. Or maybe Incindius is the true mastermind playing the part of the inoccent. You are to quick to trust."

"I never said trust him. I said don't compare him to a Decepticon."
Onix mentioning Decepticons caused Roadtrain to remember things he'd tried to forget. The city he was in command of, his friends and allies, the Deception attack and then hunting them down one-by-one. Roadtrain sat down again and attmempted to shake the memories that haunted him.
D-Fib started to move over to Roadtrain to see if he was alright, but Deadbolt stepped infront of her and shook his head.
"He gets a bit sensative about his past." He whispered. "Threatened to slag me once when I asked him about it."
Hypershot was glad to have the oppertunity to a change of scene. All this flinging of heavy comments and confusing dead end questions was starting to annoy him. He eagerly followed Omnitron. As he moved past, he took a quick glimpse of Roadtrain. "Man that bot's tough" he thought to himself. As for Incendius, he didn't really know what to think of him, so he decided to leave his opinion of him alone. And Phasmatis he'd only seen from before boarding the ship to Unicrons head so Hypershot shoved him into the back of him mind. In fact, he shoved the whole thing into the back of his mind. Instead taking up the moment at hand with ease. Letting himself have a little smile.

Deadbolt and D-Fib followed Hoist and Omnitron out of the room.
"Think Roadtrain is getting chewed out in there?" D-Fib asked Deadbolt.
"Who knows? I wouldn't ask him about it though." Deadbolt replied.
Meanwhile, Roadtrain listened to what Latyrx7 said to him.
"Thank you, sir. I just wish I could have done more to help those under my command on Earth. I must say, I find it ironic that Incendius is being branded a traitor by some, yet I appear to be the only one who has committed and act of desertion."

Incendius walked in silence with his team to the training area. Now that he'd been forced to reveal a little of his past, he felt exposed. The Renegades didn't trust him, Hoist was a temperamental, paranoid old mech, Latryx7 didn't believe him, he could tell, and Phasmatis was caged down in the depths of Unicron's Head. It felt like things were slipping out of control, and he could do nothing to stop it. The others were right- how could they trust him with Phasmatis able to flick the crazy switch at any time? He began wondering if he was cut out for this at all...

Latyrx7 signaled to Roadtrain to stand at ease. 'It was a bad call in my book. Renegades might be able to get away with a lot, but if we push it and don't judge our own actions, Autobot command might scrap the project. In fact, if I didn't know better, I'd say you have a death wish. Maybe your trying to punish yourself for what happened back on earth?'
Soon the rest of the Renegades were in the training room. Omnitron turned to the others. 'See that door. Thats where were headed. In case some of you need to know, its another Tronbayoshi Maru Sim room.'
'Wait, like the one where most of us thought we were on a life and death mission? Where we couldn't tell reality from a sim test?' Asked Tomboy, who was answered yes by Omnitron. 'Exactly. And introducing the one who put it together, Renegades meet Eraser.'
A purple and black robot approached the group. He was rather dark and imposing in appearance with an old design for his body. 'Greetings fellow Renegades, its a pleasure....'
Roadtrain's shoulders slumped slightly. He was starting to feel his age again. He felt weary.
"Maybe you're right, sir. I did my best to punish those who attacked my city, now there is only me left, maybe I am trying to punish myself. However, I never deny responsibility for my actions, and today hasn't changed that. As I said earlier, I take full responsibility for everything and whatever punishment comes as a result."
As the Renegades continued walking, D-Fib gave Incendius a slight nudge and flashed him a thumbs-up.
Hoist walked along with Omnitron but didn't engage in any small talk with the bot. Truth be known he couldn't stand the bot as much as anyone else, but tolerated him at least. It hadn't been a good start for the new recruits, although he wondered if perhaps his hopes were too high in the process? This business with Incendius and Phantasmis worried him more however, like a dark storm waiting to take vengence..
Hoist pondered this thought long and hard, perhaps with a bit more training? More discipline?...

Omnitron looked at Eraser to explain. 'Were not running a test, for those of you that don't know, this was the test to chose the first Renegades in your teams.'
Computic and Metalingus nodded, as they had been apart of the test. Eraser continued. 'Even Incendius was fooled. As is his brother Phasmatis....'
Eraser pointed to a video screen where Phasmatis was wired up inside the sim room. Full functional but a sleep, Phasmatis was offline in his own world.
'We are feeding him a steady stream of images, he believes he is in full control of Incendius and all that is around him. He is unaware of what is going on but have no fear, he is in no pain or distress. However, what's interesting is the amount of power its taking to control him, its almost like were trying to control more then one mind.... Your people's hive like mind link, correct Incendius?' Asked Eraser with sinister interest.
Latyrx7 put his hand up. 'Stop. I know your responsible. But if your out to pay a dept your no good to me. Your a leader, your troops are going to need you to keep them alive and sacrifice isn't the, imediate answer. Right now, Incendius isn't fit to lead. Don't get me wrong, his battle field stratgy is brillilant. More brillilant then I would admit to Phasmatis, but right now his confidence has been affected by Phasmatis' action. The Renegade don't trust him. Driveby and Onix might want to take his head off and maybe I can't blame them, but I won't allow it.'
Latyrx7 turned around and looked at a screen displaying the Renegades in the training room. 'I'm placing you in command of the Renegade team along side Hardstrike. The two of you share the same rank. While Hardstrike is MIA, your acting field commander with Incendius as second in command. You haven't given up on Incendius and I haven't either.'
When Roadtrain heard his commanding officer's words he straightened up. Somehow Latyrx7 had said exactly what Roadtrain needed to hear and he felt his confidence begin to grow again.
"Thank you, sir. I won't let you down again. I haven't been in a position of command since I was on Earth. It's almost like being in command for the first time again. I'll do everything in my power to ensure the team functions like a well oiled machine. I have complete faith in each and every one of them, ad I'll make sure that Onix and Driveby stay in line when it comes to matters concerning Incendius."
He looked at the viewscreen and the rest of his team.
"What's to become of Phasmatis?
Deadbolt watched the video screen with interest. He didn't particularly like Phasmatis, but he was curious about what was happening.
"Is Phasmatis to be kept there permanently? He asked.
D-Fib continued to watch in silent interest. She wondered what was happening with Roadtrain. She hoped his punishment wasn't going to be too severe, from what she had seen, he was certainly a good commander.

Incendius smiled and returned the thumbs up. Nice to have some friends... He followed the rest of the group into the training chamber. He was suprised by the idea of another Tronbayishi Maru test, but when he saw Phasmatis hooked up to one, he oil ran cold. If Eraser had had a chance to look inside Phasmatis' head, he knew alot more than Incendius was comfortable with, and when he mentioned the Hive technology, he simply nodded stiffly. He was curious to know what would happen next.
Metalingus looked on taking it all in. He trusted Incendius and wanted to see where this was going, as soon as he got a chance he was going to ask Latryx 7 or Hoist if they were going to go out for Hardstrike and Icognito. He knew he wasn't directly responsible for them being MIA, but he couldnt help but feel slightly bad.
