Played quite a bit of Dust 514 today. Really can't wait for it to become more and more entangled in EVE.
PS3 is nice so far. Watched the first part of LOTR Fellowship on Blu-ray. Only complaint about the PS3 is the only complaint I've ever had, and that is the controller. Really uncomfortable for extended play sessions.

Been playing a TONNE of Halo 4 recently. Also got my hands on Left 4 Dead 2, Saints Row 3 and The Force Unleashed the other day.
Just after christmas, I got the xbox version of Minecraft. Oh how I've become addicted to that.

I beat Halo 4's campaign with my brother and haven't touched it since. So disappointing.

Played the first 2 campaign missions and since then I've been playing multiplayer or Spartan Ops. Problem is, I'm on Episode 2, everyone else is on 9, so I'm getting absolutely destroyed whenever I encounter Prometheans. And because of them, I'm unlikely to play any further on campaign.

Campaign sucked anyways. Terrible story. Like, 2 seconds away from 'bow-chika-bow-wow' starting up and Chief taking Cortana all manly and such.
I plan on trying out Spartan Ops once it all has released with the 14 day trial that was included with it. The Prometheans are terrible enemies, and a pain in the earlier parts of the game.

I hate Crawlers because they just swarm all over you. I hate Watchers because you can never hit them! Knights, surprisingly, aren't too bad, if there aren't any Watchers around.

Its been a while since I've played a game. Told myself that I got to keep busy with my freelance stuff instead. But I'm feeling the urge.

Been playing Darksiders 2 mostly. Lots of fun. Better than the first, and the first was good.

I've been playing lots of things since the last time I posted. Quick version: Alan Wake Bioshock Infinite The Last of Us Uncharted 3 Sleeping Dogs XCOM Enemy Unknown Hotline Miami Dota 2 Demon's Souls State of Decay Those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head. The more notable games being Alan Wake, Bioshock Infinite, and without a doubt The Last of Us. Bioshock Infinite was great, and I was convinced it was going to be game of the year, and that it was a step closer to legitimizing video games as story telling medium, but then The Last of Us came out, and man, it's a piece of art. Made me understand some of the complaints about Bioshock Infinite that some people had (mainly the combat feeling so detached form the story). If you have a PS3, like story driven games, survival-action horror, and don't mind an uphill struggle, The Last of Us is an amazing piece of gaming. In my mind, maybe the best game I've ever played, and one that really solidifies video games as a narrative device by not feeling overly gamey. It's a dark story, that makes you feel like you are really fighting to survive every encounter you have.

STEAM SALE! Which means I've bought a few things. Sure I will add 1 or 2 more things to the list. System Shock 2 Tomb Raider (the newest one) Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon I also bought The Walking Dead 400 Days DLC a few weeks back, and my best friend bought me Counter-Strike: global Offensive for my birthday. Been playing Tomb Raider and a bit of Blood Dragon. Tomb Raider has been good so far. Definitely not the Tomb Raider of old, which I never really cared for. Blood Dragon is a lot like Far cry 3, which is to be expected, but the key difference is that it is themed around the '80s vision of what the future would be like, with all the crazy nonsense that entails. It's something that knows it is stupid and that's why it's not, if you follow.

Games I've been playing lately are Skyrim and Red Dead Redemption. Hours of my life have been lost to those two.
Also tried my hand at Fallout 3. Borrowed it off my cousin, but the disk is scratched, so I can't get out of the Vault at the start of the game ¬_¬
