Games I've been playing lately are Skyrim and Red Dead Redemption. Hours of my life have been lost to those two. Also tried my hand at Fallout 3. Borrowed it off my cousin, but the disk is scratched, so I can't get out of the Vault at the start of the game ¬_¬ That sucks. fallout 3 is still one of my all time favorites. RDR is up there as well; excellent game. I'm waiting for Skyrim to go on a daily sale on Steam during this sale, and then I will likely buy it (given it goes down to a decent price).

Haven't really bought any of the major titles yet, I did but Under The Ocean though as I had my eye on that for a while. Glad I did, it's deeply deeply engrossing.

I love how my mind works when playing Skyrim. When I get attacked by city guards, I'm like "F$&% that!" and run away, but when I get attacked by a Dragon, I pull out my shield and my axe and go to town on it.
Perfect example of this: I was running for dear life out of Riften after the guards turned on me because I stole something. Ran out of the gates and kept running out into the middle of nowhere. While I could still hear the guards chasing me, I get blasted from behind with fire. My first thought was "What the...They have a mage?!". I turned around and came face to face with a Dragon. Without thinking, I started pummeling it into the ground. Luckily for me, the Dragon scared off the guards, so I was able to kill it and loot it in piece.

I believe Skyrim is going on sale today (the Legendary Edition) so I will likely buy it.

Red Dead is one of the best video games I have ever played. I hope Rock Star does some more Westerns in the future.
Skyrim... hmmm. I wonder if I should get into this game. I'm not a fantasy guy but it sounds like it could be fun.
I can't wait for the new Batman Arkham Origins!

I spent 3 hours today in it, and I didn't even realize it.

*Eye twitch* Since posting my last message, my download reached 79%, then restarted. Then it reached 79% again, and restarted again! All the while, I kept getting disconnected from XBL. Given up for today, hopefully it'll behave tomorrow.

Tried downloading it again today. Once it hit the 70's, I was sat there going "Come on, if you can make it to 80%, I know you'll work!". It reached 79% and I had one of the most tense minutes of my life. Then it ticked over to 80%, and a few seconds after that, I got a message saying the download was complete! On a related note, Portals make my brain hurt.

Been playing some Skyrim, but I also went and downloaded The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall and got it running in an emulator. I like going back and playing older versions of games I'm playing (like the original Fallout games and Marathon, Halo's predecessor).
