My main unpopular opinion is that I like simple transformations.
I like the 84-86 toys now, but as a kid it was the tat like sparkbots, firecons, throttlebots that used to get the most love whilst the complicated or fragile ones sat around giving orders from behind Metroplex. Bots like dogfight were the best, because I could have him flying, make the chkckckckckc noise in my head and have him land as a bot in seconds. Awesomeness!!
My other opinion is that Powermaster Prime is the most awesome leader figure ever!!!

That Soundwave looks pretty cool to me, I like the drone take a lot more than the Soundvan\tank we have had lately. What is the plastic quality like on him?
The Bumblebee especially back end in vehicle mode, with no paint apps at all, just looks a bit cheap to me.

I like the idea of them being smaller protoforms. My theory being that when they got earth forms the scanners didn't account for size of the relevant vehicles, because Cybertronians can be many different sizes and don't have to accomodate humans, so it just scaled them down to fit the protoform.

*While wondering why Brawn is greased up then quickly deciding to forget about it as it may lead to some unslightly imagery, EL7 gets dizzy but it a last ditch effort to throw Brawn off....* Nice trick, what's your next move Huffer?*Seeing EL7 staggering around, Brawn pulls a nice shiny foil Autobot sticker out of his pocket, and lunges it towards his Renegade insignia* This is what you get for comparing me to that chickenbot!!!

Maha! Yessss!
I think in both cases Megs would win as the two Primes arent flexible enough to expect the difference. BW Primal would be too busy jabbering to realise G1 Megs had blown a hole through him and eaten his spark. Wheras G1 Prime would have rolled out his whole team to a fake decepticon attack leaving only Bumblebee, Spike and Red Alert guarding the base against BW Megs sneak attack.
