Highstacker shook his head. "Very well. We will need to keep moving, even if we're fighting on the way. Bunker down, and we're toast." Nexus grunted. "It'll be an arrow formation. Strongest of their ranks at the point, they'll try to divide out forces and pick us off one by one."

Turning to Wormhole, [glow=red,2,]'And if Smokescreen could speak, I believe he would agree with your proposal. Give us a good Breem to set up then lead them back to us. Good luck and Primus' speed. Lets roll out Autobots.'[/glow] Perceptor began to hustle with the rest of the group.
Wormhole nodded and then ran forward to where he could see the visible outlines of them flying in from. Transforming on the run, he hit the air at his top speed to intercept them as quick as he could to give the rest some time to prepare. As he became closer to them, and they became closer to him he could see the visible shots fired at him trying to bring him down. Maneuvering in and out of the ways of fire, he could see that he'd had a few shots just barely miss him.
As if acting like the only one, he swerved through a lot of the airborne ones as if they were mountains. Transforming back into his bot mode, he landed onto one of the planes that flew by. Taking a hold of the wings with one of his hands, he withdrew his blaster and fired it off into the plane, which sent more shots at him. Transforming back, he could see he was visibly injured but still roaring to go. "I can only imagine the thanks I'm going to get for this."
Torque watched as Wormhole took off. He ran to his position alocated to him by Perceptor. Torque set up his sniper rifle and took aim. He could see the Decepticons now, he spotted the familiar Tetrahedron shaped jets, meaning only one thing. Seekers. Torque watched as they split off and went to attack Wormhole. There was one of the Seekers within range, Torque lined up his sights and fired. The shot connected with the Seeker's wing tip, knocking it off course. Torque shifted his aim, looking for his next target.
Torque was highly thankful for Perceptor's plan, so far none of the Seekers in the sky knew where he was. Torque squeezed off another shot, detonating his target's missle. Torque saw the damaged Seeker fall from the sky. Torque knew it was just a matter of time before he had to break cover and fight at a closer range.
Smokescreen pulled out his disrupter rifle and checked the energy charge, all good. As he cocked the weapon, the weapon began to charge as it warmed up in his hands. Now he just waited for his opportunity to use it. Jumping onto enemy jets was all well and good but was a sure way of getting yourself killed quickly. If need be he would he cause a distraction, a diversionary tactic.
He could see a few of the seekers drop down, which made him even more thankful for having someone watch over him as he was doing his suicide attempt at a diversionary tactic. Flanking a seeker, he went above it and dropped himself onto it, causing it to go down - even with causing a few scratches to him. Pulling himself off, he went hard right and just barely missed one of the shots. He looked around on the ground for the other Autobots, but decided to speak over the comm. "You ready for me to bring them in? It's getting a little clogged up here."

With both laser gun and rocket launcher in hand, Perceptor took cover and watched the battle unfold up above. Then hearing Wormhole's call over the wireless, Perceptor tried to devise a quick plan to help his comrade. [glow=red,2,][COMLINK]+++"Wormhole remain calm. Smokescreen, lay down a cloud of smoke for Wormhole to fly into when he lands. Hopefully the seekers will follow then we can ambush them. If not, at least we'll be hidden from them when we open fire.'+++[/COMLINK][/glow]
Perceptor hoped the seekers would at least land. The Autobots were not much of match for them in their current condition, especially when they were in the air. Plus his rocket launcher wasn't much of a land to air weapon.
Smokescreen wasted no time and holstered his weapon away and made a run for the open ground. As he broke into stride he Transformed and headed for the center of the plains and began driving around in a big wide-arc circle raising a huge cloud of dust and particles into the air as he created, literally, a smokescreen for Wormhole.
As he went round and round he tried to keep his sensors out for attacks from above, no matter what, he had to create a safe landing zone for his comrade...
Seeing the smoke develop, he turned towards it and then went into a barrel roll as he flew towards it. Coming in deep, he arced up and then dived into the smokescreen. Transforming as he hit the ground, he turned and drew his blaster only to hear the seekers coming closer to him. "Seems they fell for it, let's take them down!"
Smokescreen skidded to a halt as the last of the dust storm failed up and slowly began to dissipate in the air revealing Smokescreen now in his robot mode having transformed as the dust rose. Quickly he raised his disrupter rifle that he had whipped out and began firing on the seekers coming towards Wormhole and himself, hoping that the others were okay..

The seekers landed, and charged at the Autobots, all null-rays blazing. They spread out into an arrow formation, a bulky looking Decepticon leading the charge at its tip. Their lasers spread out, trying to take all angles, attempting to split the Autobots up.
Highstacker was crouched behind a rock, hands protetivley covering his head. He was a messenger, a guide, not a warrior, and he wouldn't have been able to help even if he'd tried. Dissconecting a grenade from his belt, he hurled it bacwartds over his head at the oncoming seekers...
Nexus, however, was taking a more constructive approach. He sumersalted over the head of a seeker lagging behind, shot him in the head, and flicked his leg backwards to hit him straight in the processor, killing him instantly.
Torque watched the Seekers charging in their robot modes. Just the opportunity he'd been waiting for. Torque leap from his cover, and vaulted over a rock. In mid air he fired one of his spike nets. The net sailed through the air and opened up, wrapping around two of the Seekers on their Right Flank ((OOC - Torque's left)). Torque drew his Disruptor and fired at another Seeker while the first two wrestled to free themselves of the net.
The Seeker Torque was firing at went rigid mid-step. Torque's disruptor had done it's job. The Seeker fell to the floor, paralysed. Torque rushed over to the downed Seeker, transforming his right hand into a cutting torch. He quickly cut into a panel on the back of the Seeker's head, exposing circuitry. Torque transformed his hand back into a hand and quickly severed some wires, disabling the Seeker's movement, speech and locator becon.
Torque made a run for cover, dodging as much fire as he could. He'd just made it back to where Smokescreen and Wormhole when one of the Seeker's clipped his leg. Torque fell and rolled. His right leg was paralysed. He crawled as fast as he could, trying to get somewhere he could be of use. Torque managed to get behind a rock and drew his sniper rifle. He quickly fired two shots at the Seekers still struggling with his spike net. After the shots, the struggling stopped.
Wormhole ducked and then slammed his fist into a seeker that flew over him and spun. As his blaster fired off a shot, the seeker flew backwards hitting the ground hard. It moved once, twice but no third time. Smiling, he was tackled by a seeker that sent him into the ground hard, to which he spun and gripped it's head as it laughed. Sending it into the ground he blasted it's chest till it was quiet. "I'm just fine, struggling here and there but nothing I can't handle!"

Seeing the Seekers advancing towards Torque, Smokescreen and Wormhole, Perceptor made his move. Armed with his rocket launcher, he came out of cover and fired at the biggest concentration of Seekers, aiming at one and hoping the impact would scatter the other Seekers close to the one Perceptor had fired on.
The rocket impacted, knocking down its target. Perceptor dashed from his location, firing randomly from his laser gun, making his way towards a ruined wall for cover.
He leaped for the wall and hit the ground hard. He was placed his laser gun down and went to reload his rocket launcher with his final rocket. He then radioed the Autobots. *COMLINK* [glow=red,2,]'If anyone would be good enough to inform me of the biggest formation of Seekers that I may dispatch with my final rocket projectile, it shall be appreciated. And has anyone kept an optic on Highstacker?'[/glow] *COMLINK*
Perceptor knew he was to the left of the main group of Autobots, but had no idea where Highstacker was or where Nexus had gotten to.
Smokescreen took a blast to the shoulder, knocking him down onto his back, but in not time at all he was sat half-way back up, trying to ignore the pain as he blasted away at one of the seekers. Even if he wanted to reply to Perceptor he couldn't. He hoped these jumped up seekers would soon be smoldering junk piles so they could continue as planned.
