I really like it too, I love ravines and exploring old abandoned minesshafts. Gates aren't as bad as I thought. Using 6 glass blocks (as if you were making a trap-door with wood) gives 16 glass panels! And the same for iron fences, 16. Alot of people complain about the hunger bar But I think it helps improve things, I always carry food on me anyway. As long your your hunger bar is full, you don't have to worry about dying. As I said in the chat I've become a little bit obsessive about killing mobs now, even if the experience orbs do nothing, for now. I like the addition of reeds and jungle biomes, although the jungle biomes still need work, Sunsets/sunrises are now even more amazing and even more pretty. Even though I had switched to default textures, I took this shot of my pool at sunset. (Or was it sunrise...) Thumbs: I look forward to the proper thing when there's no furnace bugs. Really hope it is Monday or at least next week.

I've found exploring a lot easier now that I've discovered I CAN CONTROL TIME!!!!!
F6 and F7 control the time.

Did you realize that right clicking with the sword blocks?

Yep, used it recently when my Snow Golem rebelled against me because of his slave labour. He turned on me and started pelting me and unfortunately - I had to end his life. The pre-release 1.9 world don't inspire me to start a new - still. In order to build, I have to be inspired by the land around me, and I just haven't got that yet.

I will agree that worlds have become a tad stale. I'm tired of running into so many swamps.

At the moment, as well as trying to finish the apartment block on my old world, I'm making a 1.9 home out of a stronghold. On a mission to travel to the END. (Although I already accidentally have on my old world due to a glitch! Details are on my blog.)

So, Lego have brought out a range of Minecraft Lego. I think this is a silly idea, absolutely ridiculous. And I may or may not have bought and built one already.

I can't see me buying any, in a way Minecraft kinda is like lego - without the nobbly bits on top!

I know what you mean, I never thought I'd end up buying the Steve figure sets but I cracked. (Regular Steve and with diamond armor.)

The minifigs are definitely cool. The set I got has regular Steve, a pig and a Creeper, as well as a wooden sword, axe and pickaxe.

I've got a Steve, Creeper, Zombie and Enderman figure. There are a whole line of Minecraft figures out here that are at the $10 price point, with $15 and $20 sets interspersed. I've not bought any past the first wave of individual figures for myself, but they have Steve with diamond armor and weapons, a Villager Blacksmith, an Iron Golum; Steve with a bed, chest, crafting table and wooden tools; Steve with a white horse; A set of one of all neutral animal mobs; Spider-Jockey (Skeleton and Spider separate) with 3 silverfish, and there might be more.
